Tavern On The Hill restaurant located on Route 141 at the Easthampton Holyoke townline combines a spectacular location with great food. History

Established in 2005.

Tavern on the Hill is co-​owned by Jim Cooper and his son in law Lawrence Guyette. Both men have been in the restaurant business most of their adult lives. Jim has worked as a wholesale fish supplier for over 30 years. Larry has worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years, starting as a dishwasher and eventually working his way up to chef at one of the valleys premier dining establishments. Larry was named Chef of the Year by the Massachusetts Restaurant Association in 1999.

As natives of the Pioneer Valley both men were familiar with the restaurant that used to occupy the building now known as Tavern on the Hill. The location had been home to the Harvest Valley for many years. On more than one occasion Larry and Jim would talk about starting their own restaurant, and both agreed that Harvest Valley would be their dream location.
