The Colour Bar Salon

First of all I willingly admit I would not want me as a client. I am very picky about my hair. I have Been going to Michelle for 14 years. I will not let anyone touch my hair but her and Maria has been an excellent backup. This is the only place I have ever been to that I would feel safe going to where I know if Michele has an emergency I know Maria will be equally great. This situation hasn’t happened very much at all but the very few times over the years that it has I’m fine.
Michele is simply awesome! I know because people always always compliment me about my hair. We’ve done some different things and they have always come out great! She is very versatile. One thing is, she likes pictures so if you go bring in some. She also knows how a color would look on you based on skin tone. I finally convinced a friend to go a few years back and she loves her too.
I have my hair washed and blown dry for an occasion a few times elsewhere because I don’t live near her salon and even those hair dressers comment on how nice the color is. The atmosphere is so cool. It’s just Michele and Maria and it’s not noisy and crowded like a lot of salons.
I’m there to stay!

I’m 31, new to the area from NYC, and am very picky about my hair. I’ve been stopping at several local salons to get a price list and to feel the vibe of each place, and when I came here I felt so good I booked the appointment right away. I got my hair cut (long w/​layers) and colored (red) today and am SO PLEASED with the results! Michelle, one of the owners and the person who did my hair, was great and I love the vibe there. My hair looks fantastic… I’m so so so happy! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
