Calling it a barber shop is a stretch. Very basic, not super friendly. Made me feel like I was wasting their time, and definitely a rush job. Had to go somewhere else afterwards to get it cleaned up. However, prices were certainly reasonable, and it was quick. Probably a good place if your haircut consists of just cleaning up a buzzcut.

Friendly, but felt like someone had put a bowl on my head and cut around it. I was hoping for an old style barber shop and a haircut that I would be proud of. Did not get what I was looking for.

Great barber shop in a very accessible location right off the bike trail with plenty of parking.

I just tried calling Angelo’s to see about getting a straight razor wet shave, but apparently they no longer offer that service. Sad!

After visiting 3 other barber shops that are closer to my house I decided to give Angelo’s a try and what I got was a refreshingly nice hair cut. The Store is located one block south of the main street in North Hampton and has it’s own small but free parking out front. I got just the hair cut I wanted while having a nice chat with the barber and I was out in a hair over 20 min. My hair cut, beard trim and straight razor around the edges made me look and more importantly, feel great. The price was a very reasonable $ 16 and I left a nice tip for superb work. This is a great barber shop.

The best Barber Shop in Northampton resides in a humble storefront at the intersection of Old South Street and Conz Street. Angelo’s has a great old time charm and practices barber skills that are becoming ever elusive; hot lather and straight razor shave anyone? A great haircut here will cost you $ 12(plus tip). You’ll know you’re in the right place when you hear the sweet, repetitive hum of the turning barber pole and smell the retro hair tonics wafting in the air.
