History

Established in 1981.

Since 1981, Kiddie Academy has provided a better way to care for and educate children and create stronger communities. It’s something we’re passionate about and why we’ve been an education-​based childcare leader for more than 30 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Carin P.

Business Owner

«Miss Carin» has been with Kiddie Academy Child Care since 1994. She has an extensive background in education focusing on early childhood. She served on the Kings Park Central School District Board of Education and was an active member and President of many of the Parent Organizations throughout the District. She served on the Kings Park Education Foundation. She was on the Board of Directors of the St. James Chamber of Commerce for over ten years and served as it’s President for two years when she owned a Kiddie Academy in that community.

Miss Carin has two grown children who both went through her Kiddie Academys. Deana, her daughter, graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU last May and her son Travis, is a college freshman at Full Sail University in Florida.

Miss Carin is at Kiddie Academy almost everyday and enjoys being involved with all of the children, families, staff and teachers at the center. Come meet her at Kiddie Academy Where Community Begins !!
