I’ve been bringing my kids here for a few weeks now and really like it. The staff is so good with my little ones and my kids are always so happy on their days for their sessions. Add on the fact that my son can be extremely shy at times, not participating in events, but they are able to get him involved right away. The only complaint I have(and it’s not even that bad) is regarding the camera placement in the gym and the cycling of the video feeds to the room where you wait. Sometimes, it’s really hard to see your kids through the window, so you have to depend on the video. There is blind spots in the gym due to the way the cameras are being faced. And then there is those times where you finally catch your kid on the tv, but 2 seconds later he is gone due to the camera feed cycling to the next cam.

My five year old loves MGA! The staff and coaches are all wonderful and great with the kids! She looks forward to Saturday all week because of gymnastics. I would recommend MGA to anyone looking for a gym for their child.

I send my daughter and two sons there. They love it. The staff/instructors are amazing. They are patient with the children and the children really respond to them. My children love it and begged to be enrolled in additional classes. The gym is VERY clean and well taken care of. The office staff are very inviting, remember your name and make a point to say hi and see how my day is going every time I walk through the door. Great place for kids and parents. They seem to always think of little things to do that are appreciated. On multiple occasions they left oranges out for people to have a healthy snack, they have had a few parent appreciations where they left out snacks, coffee and water for the parents to enjoy while the children were in the gym etc. I like that they are always going the extra mile. They have parents night out and the children LOVE it. They offer dinner, snacks and lots of fun in the gym. Since the children have been enrolled I have participated in almost every one so far. Not just for mom and dad to have a night to themselves, but because the kids wanted to be there. Their friends like to go with them too(obviously the fee is a little more if the child is not enrolled at the gym – but well worth it) Every one was different so the kids did not get bored doing the same thing over and over. I also had my sons birthday party there. The instructors were AMAZING. They made it less stressful and the kids are still talking about the great time they had. I believe a few kids did sign up after it. All in all it really is a great place with great people. I recommend to anyone.

My 5 year old daughter has attended 28-week sessions so far. MGA came recommended by a friend who is a physical therapist and raved about how safe this place is. The class sizes are small enough so the coaches can give the appropriate amount of attention to the children’s needs and safety, which we felt was important. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. All of the coaches we have had so far(for regular class and make up classes) have been enthusiastic and well-liked by my kids — all seem to be college-age gymnasts in excellent shape and very good with interacting with their students, always making things fun and interesting. Sometimes when kids are shy or nervous(as was my experience!), the instructors are good at coaxing them and taking them in. The physical space is huge– it’s in a warehouse near the river. There are all different sorts of full size gym equipment… kind of like stations; the kids rotate several times during their class. The gym also occasionally offers parent’s nights(which I have not taken advantage of yet) as well as summer camps for all ages. We were so happy with our experience so far I decided to also enroll my 3 year old son during the same time my daughter is taking her class. My only negative… and it’s really just a suggestion, would be to have extra viewing monitors for parts of the gym where the view is obstructed from the window area. I love to watch the kids practicing! Very happy with this business and would recommend(and have been!) to anyone interested in taking up gymnastics.

My 4 year old daughter has attended Meadowlands Gymnastics since December 2011. My experience with the class curriculum, coaching and office staff has been nothing but positive. It has a very professional, safe, family oriented vibe. I love the huge observation windows that allow parents to observe the full range of the gym while classes are happening. My daughter has made amazing progress in her gymnastics and flexibility, especially for a child her age. She cannot wait each week for class and talks about her coach incessantly. She has a blast in her classes and has made many friends. The coaches are well trained gymnasts themselves and pass on their experiences to their students. They are quite attentive to the kids and form great bonds with them. The owners have been very hands on with us, asking how my child enjoys class, what they can do to make the experience more positive, etc. I have referred many friends to this gym and they are all equally happy. We travel a fair distance for our children to attend this gym but feel the quality is worth the drive. They offer several classes for all different age groups and experience levels. One of the main reasons I started at this gym was the offering of Mommy and Me classes on Saturday mornings, a definite plus for an involved working mother. The schedule also includes classes for my daughters age group that do not conflict with my work schedule during the week. I can take her to class after work, watch from the observation window and take her home. She loves that I am there with her. I checked out several other gymnastics schools in the area prior to enrolling my daughter here and all required me to sign a legal waiver for injuries, I believe it is an insurance requirement and general practice for all recreational sports schools. This is a relatively new gym. I have had no negative experiences with office policy or staff, but I do pay tuition on time and have not asked for any special payment arrangements, so I haven’t really had to experience it. If I ever have a question, my experience has been the office staff is knowledgable, helpful and warm. I also find the prices to be extremely reasonable and competitive with other schools in the area. It sounds like the earlier reviewer may have a personal vendetta and not a very unbiased opinion. If your concern is your child and you are looking for an excellent, comfortable environment for your child to advance and grow — I would definitely recommend this gym. Hope this helps!
