Stopped in at 9pm on Sat. Checked in and was told 20min Waite. Called us in 10, not bad. Ordered the 2 for 20. App came out and just when we finished food came to the table. Soda mug was never empty, waitress was wright on. Meals were good.

My therapist is trying to convince me that my experience at chilis was just a nightmare and not a horrifying adventure I won’t soon forget. Can I just start off by saying that this chilis doesn’t have an upside down picture hidden in the restaurant? Do you fuckers realize how long I spent pacing back and forth looking for that shit? Long fucking time. Not even that bad. I can deal with that. Seating was atrocious though. When you can see the child slaves making your food in the kitchen from your seat you need to be reimbursed. Was I? No. Maybe because I told the hostess that her nipple piercings were poking through her shirt but any Good Samaritan would point that out. Just trying to help. Now I’m allergic to jalapeños and when you ask for your burger to not have jalapeños, you should expect there to not be any on there. I almost died after my first bite. One EpiPen and three tranquilizers later I’m passed out on the floor only slightly breathing. The manager didn’t even take the burger off my bill. So unbelievably rude. Can’t say much more about this place. Won’t be making another appearance there any time soon. Queso was to die for.

Um… Its a chain restaurant… Why is this allowed to be reviewed. All you can say is I loved how they heated or reheated my frozen food from sysco corp.

Let me start off by saying the wait staff was good, but I truly believe that there’s a hand full of mongoloids working in the kitchen. My nephews grilled cheese looked like they wipe their balls all over it. At the bar there was a few underage kids drinking and talking about doing drugs the entire time. It wasn’t just the grilled cheese that was bad either, the entire order was messed up. I think I shit my pants the min I smelled it. After this experience I’ll never go to a chillies again. The worst part about it, the manager didn’t even seem to care about the horrible experience, he told me to get over it and to stop being a pussy.

This is our Go-To place as it has not only served East Haven residents superbly but the community as well. You will always see them supporting the local youth teams, marching band, you name it they support it. We support them for their kindness and thoughtfulness. The way they rally around the community is PRICELESS. Their drinks are quick and refreshing with a variety full-service bar. This is also one of the only places we can go in peace as they have a video kiosk for our grandson that keeps him entertained and not whiny: D We have come to know the servers and manager well over the years and that is another positive. The wait staff treat you like family. My six-year-old grandson gets his hugs from the waitstaff and turns to us and says, «I’ll get us a table» he is that comfortable here. Yes, we have our favorites and YOU know who you are… Hugs Hugs Hugs The food is always prompt and hot ready to go. When they say the dish is spicy be prepared to get MILK lol FIRSTRATECHAIN that has great food and great service I will recommend to all my friends. Hummm a lot of them meet us there: D Thanks for all you do! You’re very much appreciated! Gina Falt

Ok, so they offer a happy hour, but cut you off after 3 glasses of wine in a 2 hour period. Interesting. There is a female bartender that kicks booty, but the old dude that I thinks he’s Paul Sr from OCC, really Hun?! Will never, ever return. Bye Felicia!!!

I’ve gone here a total of four times because it close to home and food is relatively cheap. Food is good, served hot. However, service is mediocre. 3 out of the 4 times the waitress was a jerk. The wait to get anything ranging from a water to your check was anything but pleasant. If it didn’t sit so close to home, I wouldn’t go here.

Good food, great service. Good happy hour specials. Sherree will take great care of you at the bar. All the staff are quite friendly and attentive. I eat here often and they are very accommodating when I want something customized. They do have wifi but you never know if it is going to be running fast or slow.

Mediocre at best… I don’t think my server even introduced herself, and the only time I even saw her was when I was ordering or when she was hounding me with my mouth full of food about if I was getting dessert even though my bf answered for me. my order was not complicated but they still managed to get it wrong and I didn’t even get the luxury of sipping on my drink while I waited for my food because it took so damn long to get it. Food was chili’s standard but not impressed and not going back.

Before I start let me say that I’ve been to at least 10 different Chili’s across the country, from CA to NY to the airport in Milwaukee. This is the ONLY chili’s I’ve had an issue with. Food: 1 The food tasted horrible. The food looked horrible. I ordered the Chicken Quesadillas and absolutely nothing had flavor or seasoning. I asked the waiter what was up, and gave me the excuse of «new tortillas» that only they were using, and I told her I did not want the food. It was disgusting. She brought her manager and she took it off the bill. She asked me if I wanted anything else, but having already waited 30 minutes for just my quesadillas to come out, I declined. My fiancé food came out 15 minutes before mine. She obviously waited to eat with me until my food came out, at which point, her food was cold. She ordered a steak well done which came out medium well and was not salted, as well as fries and corn on the cob. The corn was overcooked and it was as soft as mashed potatoes. — — — — — – Service: 3 We had to wait 5 minutes to be seated when it was literally empty(we also had to wait 30 minutes for our food [see above] when there were only 7 – 10 parties of no more than 3) The waitress only came by three times. To take our order, to give us one refill, and to bring out our food. She was extremely nice, but come on … if we have to wait 30 minutes for our food, we’re going to need more than one drink. — — — — — – To-go: 1 To-go is horrible. This place is outdated and needs a makeover. You have to wait a really long time and there is no place for you to sit. It’s right near the bathroom so you have to constantly move to let people go by you. They also take around 30 minutes to get the food to you, so order ahead.

Chili’s is one of my favorite restaurants to go to when I don’t have any time to cook and don’t want fast food. Chili’s offers a wide variety of American style food with a kick. There are burgers, chicken wings, tacos, Cajun, steaks, and other typical American choices. You really get your money’s worth at Chili’s with their 2 two for $ 20 meal or their happy hour specials. I wont go too much into the food here but rather the building itself and the service. This Chili’s has been established for about a decade and had a recent exterior face lift. The dining room is average for a Chili’s and able to accommodate patrons on most nights. The bar area however is quite small and of older style for a Chili’s. The placement of the bar top is along the back wall of the restaurant rather than the horse shoe style of modern Chili’s restaurants. The staff at this restaurant excellent and always friendly and fast. Their only bugaboo is with the take out service. Generally orders are not ready on time and I usually find myself waiting for them to put it together. Overall this Chili’s is one of the better in the area.

I really like this Chili’s. The food is good and so is the services. The staff and management are very friendly to their customers and make everyone feel welcomed. I have never been unhappy with the food here. For those that complain, this is a chain restaurant and they are limited by what they can sell. I go here frequently and I know that they serve good food. For a chain restaurant, this is one of my favorites! I also wanted to state that this establishment also has a special place in my heart. About four months ago we had a plane crash into a house here in East Haven and this restaurant picked one of their busiest days and donated 50%of their sales to the parent of the two children that were killed in this tragic event. To me I will always be grateful to them for their generosity to the community.

My husband and I like to go to Chile’s for the happy hour. I don’t think that I have ever disliked a Chile’s. They are all pretty much the same and we enjoy it. Stopped at this location on our way back home to Jersey. What the hek is wrong with this place? it is so out dated, there are lamps over the table that actually seem to do damage to your eyes. It felt filthy. We had the happy hour appy’s. It was ok. I hate the selection of happy hour beers. We had some french fries. NEVER have I tried anything like this. They tasted like fish and onions. And the grease was burnt on it. I had two and could not believe how bad it was. My waitress was sorry. Well, I usually don’t complain at Chile’s, but on the rare occasion I did, it was off the bill. Hek, they comp desserts just for any delays in the order, which is how it should be. Do I need to mention that this meal gave the gift that kept on giving all night and into the morning? I would give this establishment no stars if possible. I would like to know why Chile’s would allow a restaurant with their name to be so bad? If you love going to the bathroom all night, go for it.

Food: Sometimes salty. Not much variety. The two best items are the fajitas and the never ending chips with Queso dip. Those two items are incredible. Service: The staff tries super hard. I’m sure there are some unsafe practices in the back but hey, see no hear no… Environment: Loud, but spacious. Good temperature but crowded. Cost: Hey you know, I’ve seen worse, but sometimes I wish they would run a special or two.

Plate chips in THEFOOD! This place is an island of mediocrity in a sea of second rate offerings. This crumbling building is virtually filled with exhaust fumes from the endless sea of trucks and cars hurtling down I-95. It’s bearable only when you are too exhausted to cook at home and don’t mind spending $ 40 a person for soggy food and drinks. On our last visit we had a lovely meal of Fajitas and cracked porcelain. Luckily, no teeth were significantly damaged and we escaped without food poisoning. Never again. On a positive note, our server was chipper and happy, but was unable to deliver a complete meal over the course of our stay — which was cut short by fragments of plate in the food. Ug.

Pretty typical Chili’s. Cheaper than most similar restaurants(Applebees, 99, ect). Plus Nicole is a fantastic server :) I do like the team thing they have where everyone chips in on everyone’s tables. Seemed like everyone was right on top of everything.

Easy to get a table, very friendly wait staff and bartenders. I have left my credit card here twice, and they are always so helpful getting it back to me! But in general… it’s Chili’s. It is what it is.

Chili’s has made a come up recently as one of my dining options… I get a coupon from them almost every week for buy one adult entrée get up to two kiddie entrees free. SH***T of course I’m gonna go! DUH??? With the Foursquare check in, I also get free chips and salsa. So I get a $ 25 meal for $ 10. Who can beat that?! Duh… no one! Even pizza’s more expensive. With that said, this is THEBEST Chili’s in a 20 square mile radius, expecially for take out. I’ve been to the ones in Milford, and Hamden and hands down this is the best service, food, and did I mention the four square check in? I absolutely hate the Chili’s in Hamden(won’t even waste my Megabytes to write a review) and the one in Milford tends to be crowded… the servers are hit or miss. I saw the older reviews, and clearly they did too because they seem to have changed quite a bit, and it’s not bad anymore. The ONLY complaint I have is that you’re practically playing Frogger to get to the Chili’s to go door because the door is right next to the turn in lane for the shoopping strip. #Fail… #yourarchitect/regionalplannerisblind. Othewise, they get a solid rating from me.
