History

Established in 2010.

Olde School is the result of a combined 50 years of Hospitality Experience of Owners/Operators Jeffrey Arnold and Adam Ganzle.

The Concept is the result of Jeff’s professional and personal history in New Haven. His Great Grandfather — Luigi Consorte was a Saloon Keeper on Wooster Street, and a founding member of SSMM.

Along with attending the CIA, kitchen experiences included Chef Tell’s in Grand Cayman B.W.I., 15 years at 500 Blake Street, the last 4 as Executive Chef, and Operating Culinary Consultants LLC, working in the opening of 6 area restaurants from 2002 to 2008.

Adam Ganzle is also 25 years in the business. A New Haven Native and Childhood Actor, Adam worked for 12 years at Demery’s– The Yale/New Haven Haunt of the 80’s as a Bartender .In the 90’s Adam was a Frontman at Webster’s in Branford, known for it’ s Fine Dining and Intimate Atmosphere. Adam met Jeff when he joined 500 Blake Street in the late 90’s.Adam introduced Jeff to ACES where they also work.
