De George Eye Care Center

SO, I decided to write this Unilocal review now that I actually have fully-​functioning/​clear vision again after seeing an ophthalmologist — because it seems as though De George Eye Care has been less than stellar at helping correct my poor vision…
To be more specific, De George Eye Care has actually been ACTIVELY WORSENING my vision for years. Basically, they failed to accurately perform their primary purpose for the three whole years that I have been going to them. The ophthalmologist I saw a couple weeks ago informed me of my ACTUAL eyeglass and contact prescriptions, and that De George had instead given me:
1. An eyeglass prescription way over-​powered (thus making my vision blurry with glasses)
2. A contact prescription without enough strength (thus making my vision blurry with contacts in)
So not only have i been subjected to less than perfect vision (which is what I thought I was paying them for) for 3 years, but I’ve actually been paying them to confuse/​weaken/​hurt my eyes… IN TWO DIFFERENT WAYS.
You know, I enjoy myself some irony now and then — such as an eye doctor without the proper vision to conduct a simple eye exam for their visually-​impaired patients — however, I tend to find this less amusing when I think of all the money wasted on BS glasses and contacts prescriptions. A refund would be nice, but probably not going to happen, and I understand that. What would be even better is if they ceased operations of this practice and saved current and future patients the stress on their eyes and their wallets.
