History
Established in 2014.
Cresthill Academy was founded in 2014 by Ms. Christina Dorando. After spending years in the early childhood field, both as a teacher and an administrator, Ms. Dorando identified a need to push the boundaries of early childhood education.
Ms. Dorando envisioned an early childhood program with an emphasis on healthy and organic meals, balanced and integrated curriculum, and the benefits of early foreign language education taught in an immersive and fun environment.
In 2014, Ms. Dorando’s vision became a reality when she founded Cresthill Academy, a première early childhood development center with an innovative curriculum, evident based design, and a progressive vision.

Business Owner
Hi! Thank you for your interest in learning more about Cresthill Academy!
My name is Christina Dorando and I am the founder and owner of our school.
I earned my Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University and my dual Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University. I have over six years of preschool classroom and administration experience and a passion for enlightening our youngest learners!
I was inspired to open my own early education center because I was dissatisfied with I saw from working within existing centers; and I believed that our youngest learners deserved more than what was available.
I envisioned a program that served yummy and organic meals, in-house designed curriculum to meet the unique needs of individual learners, and teaching foreign language in a meaningful and useful way.
Having grown up in Morris County, I am ecstatic to be leading a team of caring and passionate teachers to educate the youngest learners of our community!
