H & M Limousine Service

Terrible customer service. very old cars and unfriendly drivers. Will never use them again.

As a first time customer they were 15 minutes late for the scheduled pick up. Upon calling, at 5:05 then 5:10 am, I was told ‘sorry’. Greeted by a driver who was flippant as well. I can assure you that this was my first and will be my last ride with this company… if we could only schedule Über!!! Do Not Use this limo service.

I have been using H & M for years and their quality of service is horrible. I don’t post a lot of reviews but I wanted to get my experiences out there.
They are consistently late. Last time I was told since it was foggy they were running behind once I arrived at ohare. It took them an additional 75 minutes from the time I called from baggage to the time they got to picking us up. I could have been home and back to ohare with that much time I waited.
To top it off their customer service is poor and vehicles are nothing special.
We have used them for our business clients as well. When those folks are complaining that’s not a good thing at all.
To sum it up we use another limo company now and wow … Refreshing to have great service again …
h&m you really need to improve.

We used them for years and we quit several years ago. We couldn’t remember why we quit. They reminded us. We had a reservation for yesterday morning, requesting no stretch limo. The driver was on time, and we were sharing a stretch limo. He got lost picking
up the second group, then couldn’t figure out which house. We made it to the gate at the airport as the were closing the door.
Coming home I called H&M for our reservation. For 7 mins and 29 secs the girl in the phone couldn’t figure out if we wanted to make a reservation, be taken to O’Hare, or be picked up. She kept coming back to the phone and saying hold on.
We are now sitting in the back of yet another stretch limo with the first other party. We have been waiting for 20 mins for the 3^rd shared ride party. We just found him. He was waiting at the wrong door, four doors away.
Never again, thanks for the reminder H&M.

I used to love this limo company. Always dependable and on time. For the third time our driver has been 15 – 25 minutes late picking us up. Usually they are 15 minutes early. No explanation and every time I tried to call the main office after initial inquiry I was hung up on. Finding a new company.

Worst services we’ve ever experienced.
For our honey moon ride to ohare, we specified to H and M that our wedding day was delayed the day before, bc the limo company we chosen the day before didn’t send a limo to pick up the men, only the women. After explaining our situation we were assured we were in good hands, and we would be picked up promptly, and get our honeymoon started on a high note.
Instead, the next morning, we were picked up ~15 minutes late, which is a lot of time when traveling to the airport. Nevertheless, we weren’t going to let it bother us. We would still be early for our flight. But… when we got in the limo, there was a man inside. Maybe he was being dropped off near bye?
Nope.
Instead, we were in a shared ride limo. For our HONEYMOON LIMO! We immediately called the main phone, and were greeted with a rude man, who somehow did not understand why we were upset, and he explained that we «need to specify that we don’t want a shared limo.» Even the man in the shared limo felt bad, and said that when he called to set up his ride, he was asked if he was alright with a shared limo. He said yes, bc apparently it’s cheaper. BUT HE WAS AT LEAST WARNED. He called the main office too, after I hung up, and voiced his concerns, as he understood our situation — and quite frankly was awkward for him to be in a couples honeymoon limo.
As the gentleman in the shared ride and I spoke after he hung up with the front office (which we were assured someone would get back to both of us — and never did!), the driver listened in. And then started commenting that he doesn’t need us complaining, bc he wasn’t even scheduled to work. After disputing with the driver for a few minutes, I asked that he roll his window up, and none of us were interested in continuing arguing with him. He then threatened to pull over and have us get out. And proceeded to say «I ain’t Rollin no window down, and y’all gonna listen to me,» where he then continued to verbal assault us the rest of the ride to ohare, about how he was tired, no supposed to be working, and all the drama «as my his problem.»
Once we got to the airport, the driver opened his trunk, said «gimme yo payment,» and took our credit card. We had to get our own bags out. After he ran our card, I reached for my credit card, and he threw it at me. As I went to pick it up, he continued to verbally assault my wife and me. And of course, we went back and forth. My wife had to actually step between us, bc he stated «things bout to get physical, boy,» and she thought he was going to attack me. All bc I called his employer and complained about this insanely ridiculous situation, especially after explaining how awful the limo situation had been the day before, for our wedding.
We attempted to dispute the payment, and H&M won, bc they had actually done the service — they picked us up and drove us to the airport. Of course, leaving out this entire story. We will continue to dispute, bc apparently anyone that attempts to get a 100% refund any time a credit card payment is disputed, lose. So we will continue to fight it, likely going down by 5% each time, until the horrible experience is made right as much as possible.
This is the first revue I’ve ever left for anyone, but this disturbing experience certainly called for it, as I wouldn’t wish any of that to happen to anyone. Especially for a special event. Shame on you, H&M, for not even attempting to make this all right with us. Don’t think the experience could have been worse than it was. Worst limo experience EVER!!!

Had a resevation with H&M on a return flight from Seattle on August, 5^th. Plane was on time so I got my bags and called H&M. Was told it be about 25 minutes before the limo could pick my wife and I up. Was not happy about the delay and was even more unhappy when the limo showed up 50 minutes later. Called H&M the next day and spoked to «Dawn». She said that she would have «Larry» called me to discuss the problem. No surprise… Larry or anyone else never called.

Very surprised and disappointed with H&M considering I wrote a wonderful review of them a few years back. I used them, as usual, on my last return trip home and a very simple problem occurred. The roller bag I had was damaged on the handle because the driver used that instead of a normal attached handle. It caused the handle to be unusable and I called the next day to advise them that it was damaged. Was told owner/​manager was out but would call me on his return. No call. I called again left message and still no call. As this was an expensive piece of luggage I took it to repair services at a cost of $ 78 to fix.
It just surprises me that a simple return call would have diffused this. I have not used them since and mentioned to others and was advised to write this.

H&M is the only company we use when we need a ride to and from the airport. They are always nice on the phone and when we forget to call for a ride, sometimes not calling until the day before our flight, they always find a ride for us and they are ALWAYS on time if not early! This last trip they were very accommodating in finding us a stretch limo on such late notice.
I have had only one bad experience thus far with them and it was just last week, ⁸⁄₂₀₁₂. We were coming back from vacation but prior to leaving we scheduled with them our pickup. There were 5 of us traveling, my husband, myself, and three kids ages 21 – 23. I don’t remember the car number but it was something like 2601. The driver of that car was very unfriendly. We were all waiting at the spot of pickup like we were instructed to do. He got out of the car and walked over by us with my husband greeting him with «Hello». The guy barely acknowledged him and when I got to the car to give him a piece of luggage I too said hello. This time not even an acknowledgment!
Since there were 5 of us we had about 5 pieces of luggage. Now these stretches have pretty large trunks but he could not even fit all our luggage in there because he had a cooler in there. I have no idea what was in there if it was something of his or something to be offered to clients but not to us. He seemed very disgusted that he had to put luggage in the front with him. Not our fault!!!
He also needs to go back to driver’s ed and learn how to drive. I get motion sickness and let me tell you, by the time we got home, about 45 min. ride, I was just about to toss my cookies. He doesn’t know how to slow down and therefore having to either brake hard or slam on the brakes sending each of us forward. Thank goodness for seat belts! There were a couple of times that I thought we were going to hit the car in front of us but he slammed the brakes just in time. I’m surprised none of us got whip lash with all the jerking forward because of him braking too hard or jerking backwards because of him pulling away too fast from either a stop sign or stop light.
I’m not sure if he even said goodbye after he dropped us off at home.
Like I said, this is the only company we use and will continue to use. I would truly recommend them to take you wherever you need to go but just make sure you don’t get this driver. We were unfortunate to have received the bad apple.

I have been using this company for over 20 years. They are always dependable. One time I called someone else to save a little money, they never showed up. We had to drive to the airport last minute with 2 little kids and a lot of luggage. What a nightmare that was, so stressful. I learned my lesson, you pay for what you get. In this case, pay a bit more but always get reliable service.
