Cafe Crane Coffee & Bakery

Decent coffee, good pastries, but what really blew me away was the service. Tasmyn was super efficient, friendly, and did a phenomenal job of serving us. I’d come back here specifically to be served by her.

I love the local owned coffee shops and bakeries! You really can’t beat yummy baked goods made fresh in house made that day! This is what you can expect at Café Crane and all with the friendliest service. They also offer catering and a variety of quiches and even soups for a light lunch. The store is bigger than you expect from the outside and is a nice location to meet friends, have a meeting or an interview. Café Crane is a great hidden gem in Eagle.

Friendly service, and great blackberry cinnamon rolls. The café is clean and comfortable. The location is convenient right off state street. I also thought the coffee was higher quality than normal shops and the staff made it just how I like.

First time here. Wait was very long. Quiche had a rubbery crust and was flavorless with limited bacon or cheddar in the bacon cheddar quiche. The latte’s seemed watered down. People were waiting a long time and they seemed to need more help. Only one person behind the counter on a Sunday at 10:30 am.

I stopped at this coffee shop on my way to McCall because I like to support local businesses and I needed a tasty start to my morning. When stepping inside café crane the line was very long and the service seemed to be slow. When it was my turn to order I asked about the oatmeal in which the servers had no information to give which was odd because oatmeal is such a simple order. After they gave off a few flavors I choose one as well as a coffee and I waited… and waited… and waited. When my coffee was ready I pointed out that I hadn’t received my oatmeal in which they forgot. After I waited for my oatmeal I left in the car to McCall. When explaining the experience to my brother who was traveling with me I then opened the oatmeal took a bite only to realize they put salt in the oatmeal instead of sugar. I was not pleased. The only positive was the staff was sweet and apologetic when I explained them the situation. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

I don’t usually give low reviews but we stopped here for two iced drinks. The Mexican mocha was so strong it had way too much cinnamon and it was too hot so there was little ice in the drink. My drink was not that great either– too much syrup. Maybe it was an off day? Friendly servers though.

First and last visit this morning. I ordered an Americano, I asked the barista how many shots of espresso come in each size, she responded 2. To clarify I said 2 in a small 4 med and 6 large? No, 2 total in each. Small $ 2.40 med $ 3.05 large $ 3. I cannot remember. I ordered a small, Taste was less than pleasant and mostly like hot tap water. I cannot imagine how bad the large tastes. Question for the owners, why do you charge your customers extra to water down your week espresso? This practice is only used to mislead customers and it is unethical. You are charging more for hot unfiltered water. The food looked good but I did not order any, I will not support your business.

I take my girls here after school for one of their yummy cinnamon rolls. They are always delicious and ridiculously affordable. The atmosphere is very nice and open. Not noisy either so it easy for me to have conversations with my daughters. Far more enjoyable than Starbucks.
Staff is always extremely friendly and service is excellent!

I love the CRANE!!! The housemade Cinnamon rolls are amazing!!! The coffee is great, tastes like real coffee, not like generic or starbucks burnt gross coffee. This is my join 2 – 3 times a week. Love it!

Hankering (that is a word often used here right?) for a fluffy, moist, fresh, hot, buttery, sweetly glazed, stuffed w cinnamon, raisins, & pecans roll? Then this is going to be your new favorite spot!

The barista is the real deal– excellent coffee. Perfect Cappuccino. Chai tea, espresso etc.
Quality eclectic retail, teas, cards, gifts too.
Nice spot to chill out w indoor & patio seating.

Friendly staff and good drinks. I got the chai tea and it had good flavor. I also got their orange roll which was very good.
The atmosphere was nice. A bit small but a good selection of tables to choose from.

The place is excellent! I’m from California, and I’m pretty selective when it come to cafes and restaurants, frankly. I visit Idaho every once in a while…
This place seriously has it all. Good beverages and pastries. The staff is pretty helpful, informative, and friendly. The prices are fairly reasonable.
It has pretty much all what a person needs from a café.
P. S. the new barista is f’n awesome and he really knows how to make a coffee beverage! (kudos to them for hiring a pro)

Horrible customer service. I asked for the drink I usually order and was charged triple the price. The coffee was okay, but the staff was less than friendly.

Being from the Seattle/​Olympia, WA area, I am unfamiliar with the area. I was getting my bike fixed and needed to kill time, so I went to get a blended drink next door, not wanting to venture very far. I ordered a 20 oz blended mocha and was informed I was going to be a guinea pig since they just opened and were still trying to perfect their blended recipes. Since my parents have owned a coffee shop and now own a restaurant, I was more than that happy to try it out. I’m so happy I did! Not only could I still taste the espresso in the drink, the beans they use aren’t burnt so there was no bitter taste. It was smooth and full bodied.
I stuck around to talk to some of the staff and they were super friendly. A lot of work has gone into this shop and it shows. While I was in there, a couple people walked in wanting samples… As the daughter of small business owners, I know how much time, money, and effort goes into making everything. Not many people realize this, let alone think about how giving samples means giving out your profit. I was impressed with how they handled it. While the person wanting a sample was being serious, the young lady simply laughed, making it seem like the person was joking and continued the conversation.
I will be coming back to this shop!
