Although a great health food store, the prices are higher and it’s a small store. There is a membership available to join their co-op, which then reduces the prices. Favorite aspect of this store is their deli that offers sandwiches, juices, smoothies, etc. Its selection is small compared to Nature’s Oasis, but the quality is on par.

We were in town for a birthday celebration and stopped in to buy food. Great variety of gluten-free options, salads, typical co-op fare. The staff was really helpful and friendly and we had a lot of fun shopping there.

Community oriented natural foods grocery co-op which specializes in organic & local foods. Actually a community co-op rather than inc. however everyone is welcome to shop/dine here. Includes fabulous organic + local Produce Dept., local meats + an amazing Deli which serves lunch + dinner as well as breakfast items. Organic coffee is available daily. Dine in next to large sunny East windows or in the garden patio. Free wi-fi! Don’t miss the very affordable Bulk Dept. for snacks, staples such as rice, flour, sugar as well as spices, teas & coffees. Excellent customer service! Altho small this store was the first in the region to label GMOs! Hours are 8am to 9pm daily. Open Sundays! Deli open til 8pm.

This is a super nice little corner store that has shelves and shelves stocked full of all things healthy. They have fresh made sandwiches and some salads, fresh produce, botanicals, supplements… et al. They are also right next door to my favorite coffee house in Durango so cheers to that. I have nothing bad to say about this place except that it is a tiny little dark cramped store, but it’s packed full of healthy stuff for you and it is walking distance if you live there in town. I myself am a sucker for shiny bright and new«Natures Oasis» over on 160. I’m sure the hippies hate the N.O. because they’ll say it’s some Denver corporate thingy and that may be true but if it’s a Denver company it’s still inside the state. Maybe the two stores could get together and join forces and be a super-hippie health– ‘O’ Rama store thingy. Cheers
