History

Dunsmuir Outdoors & Gear Exchange is a full service outdoors recreation gear & clothing store in beautiful historic Dunsmuir, CA

We sell outdoor clothing, shoes, boots and gear. Our outdoors product lines include GOPRO, Marmot, Kelty, Dare 2 B, White Sierra, Slumberjack, Jetboil, Malone Auto Racks and many others.

We are fast becoming the most popular paddling store in Northern California and Southern Oregon. Our Paddling lines include Extrasport, NRS, Kokatat, Seals Sprayskirts, Bending Branches & Carlisle Paddles.

We carry a full line of boats from Riviera Paddleboards, Emotion, Hurricane, Ocean, Necky & Old Town kayaks.

We rent Kayaks, Standup Paddleboards, Canoes, Bicycles, Rafts, Backpacking & Hiking equipment, Outdoor Apparel, Cross Country Skis, Snowplay Clothing, Snowshoes & Camping Gear.

We also work with local guides to offer guided trips and outings to the area’s outdoor attractions such as caving, snowshoeing, camping, rock climbing, shooting, kayaking, & Rafting.

Cindy and Charlie and their kids are avid outdoor adventurers. Rafting, kayaking, backpacking & fishing are only a small sample of the families outdoor interests. With their background in the outdoors the Millers have sought out only the finest products for their own use and to offer their customers.
