Wendy’s

Before our visit here last night, I had no complaints about this Wendy’s.
Although I’ve never been inside this one, (and after reading the last review, it’ll be a while longer) their Drive Thru speed was the best. On more than one occasion, they literally had my food hanging out the second window as I was barely getting my change or card back from the first window.
Yesterday was pretty unusual for them though. We sat at the speaker box for a good 5 minutes, and my fiancé (who was driving) said hello several times.
No answer until the car was put in drive.
«Hold on a minute.»
No «Please». No «Sorry for the unexpected wait.» No trace of politeness really.
So we kept on driving.

My family and I have eaten at this Wendy’s almost every Sunday for years. We had not been back for a couple of years and today insures that we will not return again. The bathrooms were in a horrible state, the person taking our order took forever, got the order wrong and this happened to a couple of people who were behind us. I have eaten at Wendy’s all over the Metroplex and always found them to have great service with great food but today was a great disappointment. All the tables were filthy and we had to clean our own table just to sit down. Bad management and oversight here. I have used their drive thru several times in the last few months and not once had a problem and will probably still use them but not the dining area. Run Forest, run. Dave is rolling over in his grave at this one and Wendy’s hair is turning grey!!!
