Business Owner

Born in Miami, Airline brat well traveled. Raised two children in Dumont NJ. Son is recent Wharton grad and Daughter is a photographer studying at FIT. Jay founded avnet​.org in 1994 a non profit ISP bandwidth coop that ran from 1996 – 2001 this same connection continues to be managed by one of the original coop members and now a regional peering ISP Nac​.net. Jay was a bit early for video over the net but managed to save small ISPs some money and acquire profitable website nj​.org in the process.
