worst customer service ever. do not use them. you have to chase them down to get your prints and album. do not use scott mitchell photography either. you have been warned. zero stars is not an option — or that is what i would have chosen. we recently went to his long established place of business to find the place has been cleaned out — like a low life rat. buyer beware!!!

I have no choice but to write a review. We didn’t get our album until over a year after the wedding and that was only because we kept pushing to get it. Its obvious that the work is outsourced to a 4th party, and the level of service was really lacking and confusing. We had to go through over 800 photos(some really unflattering) in order to narrow down to our final pictures which was exhausting. Then the digital layout of the album made no sense so I had to request a lot of changes. In summary we felt that we kept getting pressure to send them checks yet when it came time to get what we were so excited about, they seemed irritated that we kept checking in. I would not recommend this vendor. Our Facebook photos were better!!!

I agree with the other reviewer Vince. this guy was horrible!!! We worked with Scott for our wedding. The only good thing were our pictures. As for any form of customer service, we had a horrific experience. He had no organization, waited for us to figure out what pictures we should pose for, and rolled his eyes if we didn’t do so fast enough. But it was a stressful day as all weddings are so we didn’t pay any attention. After the wedding, and after they had cashed all their checks, my mother had a couple of questions as to what she had purchased. He fired back yelling at her claiming she was accusing him of pulling a bait and switch, and basically saying if she spent more money she would have gotten what she wanted. I emailed him about this matter stating my disappointment with such and he tried to put me against my mother saying they had«financial difficulties» that I wasn’t supposed to know about, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I was appalled to say the least. I can’t say I will be recommending anyone to this guy… ever.

Where do I start? This photographer and I use this term as loosely as possible is a money hunger, unprofessional vulture who is looking for a fist fight that he would ultimately lose to sue for even more money. Let me tell you our story, my wife and I were getting married on 02⁄05 and decided to use the person above as our photographer and videographer for our wedding. My father decided to pay for the service and a day before our wedding this creep thought it would be smart to call my wife and tell her that he was not going to show up until he was payed the full amount. Well if he ran his business a little better he would have realized that my father payed in full but being he is an unprofessional person he decided it would be a smart idea to threaten my wife the day before her day and reduce her to tears. Great move, you sawed off runt. This is only the tip of the iceberg. After waiting over 6 months to receive our albums, my wife decided to call and find out when we will finally get the items in question. This miscreant decided again to treat my wife very impolitely on the phone and I had enough. I left work and confronted him at his place where he wrongly decided to antagonize me but wouldn’t take it outside in the back parking lot so instead of doing something physical to him, I told him that I was going to run his miserable business through the mud all over Bergen County. And guess what??? The albums were miraculously done the next day for pick up. I do not understand why it came to this to get my albums after such a long wait. But beware I do not want this to happen to anyone else. The event was so aggravating I still think about what happen with this lowlife. Since then, when I come across anyone who is getting married or parents of children getting married I tell them first… DONOTUSEBILLMITCHELL! Thank you, Unilocal for having a forum to let off some steam about businesses that treat their clients horribly. To boot, he didn’t even take the proper pictures of both families at the wedding. Thanks for nothing, Bill.
