Dave recently assisted my mother in selling our family home of 48 years. Most of the coordination occurred remotely, including arranging for some of the fix-​up we needed to do in order to obtain a certificate of occupancy prior to the sale. Dave and his staff handled all the local legwork, and Dave’s advice was right on target throughout. There’s a reason everyone I asked for a reference mentioned Dave as Dumont’s go-​to Realtor. We called Dave Miller because of his excellent references to begin with. After living in Dumont, NJ for almost 14 years, we dreamed of moving to North Carolina. We called Dave, in early April. He was attentive, patient and understanding. He gave us a week think about our decision and when we decided we wanted to surely move, we called him back. He listed our house at the right price, and within 2 days we had over 6 people look and 4 offers on our house. By day 5 we had an accepted offer, over 11k more than asking price! He was on top of the entire process with us. Always in contact via phone or email. By the end of June we closed and are now happily living in North Carolina. I met Dave when my husband and I bought our first house, he was the seller’s realtor, then became double agent, he was so fair and informative, helped us with every step we need to know for buying first home. When we decide to move up, we only made one phone call, that was Dave. He came to the house, made few suggestions, analyzed the market with us, sold our house in the first week, that was early 2008, six years later, we are happy in our new house, still receive hot coca, mum from Dave, borrowed his truck few times over the years. If I need to move today, Dave would be the only name on my list just like six years ago.

Dave is a consummate real estate professional. He lives where he works and has for most of his personal and professional life. He remains in constant contact with customers (even if they are not buying or selling) and gives back to the community too! My recent experience with Dave was making use of his truck to move furniture to the apartment of a family who only recently did not have a home. It was perhaps the most gratifying volunteer activity I have been involved in recently and the use of Dave’s truck helped make it a reality.

Dave just this past spring sold the third house for my family. In 1990, during a down market, a very young Dave Miller sold our house in Dumont, enabling us to move to our dream home at the time. Them ten years later he sold my brothers house in Haworth. Now, he sold my Mom’s house in Bergenfield, which she had lived in since 1954. The market was very difficult. Dave was realistic and guided us in the pricing and price reduction process so that Mom got the maximum the market would bear, in a reasonable time frame. My family has now left the area completely, but I highly recommend Dave Miller! Honest, knowledgeable and fair!

I contacted Dave Miller to help me sell my father’s house in New Milford. He seemed like the obvious choice because he was on all of the real estate signs in the neighborhood, so he seemed to know the neighborhood well. I was right — he was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the recent housing values. He really publicized the house well, he recommended a great handyman to fix an issue with our air conditioner, he was responsive to emails throughout the selling and negotiating process, and he was enjoyable to work with.
