Test drove a new 2016 Yukon SLT. horrible drive and a very noisy vehicle. Not much power either.
Not worth the $ 68K price

I am very impressed with the service I received today from sales reps Quincy and Jarrell. They gave me top notch service and went above and beyond for my convenience. I gave them the specifics of what I was looking for and within minutes they had various affordable vehicles for me to choose from. I would recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and go see these two gentlemen. The know the true meaning of customer satisfaction.

I will never do business at this dealership again. I purchased a car from this dealership in May of 2014, at the same time trading in another vehicle. The car I purchased was not the vehicle I wanted (the car I wanted was supposedly purchased), and I was assured several times by the salesmen (Tennelle and Lexi), the finance manager (Amanda Haskin and Mustafa), and the sales manager (Charles) that I would be able to trade for the car I wanted in 6 months. In the meantime, I was called two months later and told that I would have to forfeit the car I purchased b/​c the deal fell through, and the dealership failed to pay off my old car in a timely manner. This lead to negative marks on my credit score. When I forfeited the car, one of the cars I liked, and was told had been purchased, was magically available now. I was put in that car (still not the exact vehicle I wanted), but with a catch. Now my APR was raised from 1.9 to a 2.9, still with the promise of trading for the vehicle of my choice in 6 months.
Well 6 months later (January 2015) I was told that there was nothing they could do for me, and that I would have to provide an astronomical down payment in order to trade out of the vehicle. I have since been to several other dealerships (including Rick Hendrick Chevy and Rick Hendrick Toyota), and they have all said that the deal should have never been done. I was told that had the individuals involved been upfront from the beginning, it would have been clear that I was better off holding on to my old car. I have been informed that the dealer now has new management, but I am wary of ever doing business with them again. I am writing this review to inform people to proceed with caution if you intend to purchase a car from this dealer. And if the deal sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

At the end of the day, I felt like I got a good price on a good car. However — it was some work getting to that point. Curtis, our salesman, was very personable and helpful. But once we got to the price negotiations, it was a lot of haggling with the sales manager, and then the finance manager ‘missed’ some of the details (like the interest rate). As long as you don’t mind haggling, and pay careful attention, it’s OK.

The GM, Glenn Gibson, and Sales Manager, John Fike, are very UNPROFESSIONAL!
On my first day there, they both kept my wife and 2 kids in the waiting room while they were supposedly «running our numbers». You can hear them talking loud throughout the lobby and it had nothing to do with investigating my finance option. I spoke their car sales guy, James, that I will give them another 15min. Unfortunately after waiting close to 20minutes, still no answer from either of them. Not even, «hey, thanks for the wait but we just need a few more minutes. Can we offer you a water while you wait?»
Finally after waiting for 30 – 45 minutes with no indication they were ever going to come back, I looked for them and they were all having a «team smoke» outside.
I approached Glenn Gibson and told the GM to call me when you figure out my price…“we’re leaving and I can’t have my family waiting for nothing”. He said he will call.
2 days later, I get a call back saying they have calculated everything and have a number for me. They recommend I go in to see them. When I arrived the next day, the sales person, James, gave me a sheet of paper that was way more than what I told them I would pay. I wasted my time driving all the way there from Cumming.
James said he will talk to his manager, please give me a moment. He started talking to John Fike and the entire floor can hear every word they were saying about my purchase. Within seconds, the words…“this guy is an idiot!” came from John Fike. Yes, everyone… he was referring to the customer… me.
I got up to confront him about his unprofessionalism and his sales guy said «give him a minute». I walked out and told the sales guy that I was working with, James, that I will NEVER do business here again.
I have started to file a formal complaint to the State Attorney General, BBB and made request to TrueCar have Jim Hendrick Buick GMC removed from the network. I’m reposting this on Twitter & Facebook to ensure this goes viral especially in the surrounding areas.
Save yourself some time and headache. You can get the same car but with better service at other GMC dealerships.
I’ve been talking with various other sales folks from nearby dealerships like, Jim Ellis. They are very courteous over the phone and do not come across as cocky and unprofessional like the Jim Hendrick’s Buick management team on 2473 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, GA.
If you are walking into an establishment to spend a good portion of your money, is it not common sense and good practice to ensure your customers have a great experience from start to finish? You will be surprised that, from the top down, this dealership does not understand these basics of customer service.

This experience was the car buying equivalent of eating Taco Bell, wrapped in a used diaper. Not at all like the ads. They give you those «you’re going to let this go for 90 a month?» lines. Yeah. I can do math so, yes.
I went in very straightforward with what I wanted, car already picked out, and it still took 3+ hours. Guy went back and forth so much even tho I told him off the bat the deal I had and if he could do that, I have no flexibility.
It would’ve been quicker to grab a ticket from the car and cash out like a parking garage lol!
On the plus side I was there so so so so long that I really got to reflect on my life. That was neat. So neat.

I will not buy a vehicle from them again. They seem to do everything they can to make you wait as long as possible. We visited on a Friday to look at a particular truck we had seen online. We spent over two hours there trying to negotiate a deal. The salesman repeatedly went to talk to the manager and spent 15 – 20 minutes there each time. We finally walked out. We made a deal by phone the next day and asked them to get the paperwork ready so we wouldn’t have to spend so much time there. Not only did they not have anything ready, we spent over 3 hours there that day waiting for things to get done. And the dealership was not very busy. Completely unacceptable customer service. There are plenty of dealers in the area. We won’t be going to that one again.
