Currently they are in the midst of renovating here, but our sixth floor room has been renovated and it is quite nice. All new furniture, renovated bathroom etc /the only thing absent is a sliding mirrored door on the closet in our one bedroom, King bed suite. The shower head is a European style with the plate sized head. I prefer a different type that can be regulated, but this is my only complaint. Which is no biggie. The pricing here beats staying in Atlanta, and though the hotel is a bit difficult to find, as it is behind a Mariott property, once you are here, the staff is cordial and helpful . Our room was clean and neat. The heavily treed parking lot is ample, and even with the current renovations, it’s a nice Hilton owned Hampton Inn and suites with coffee available 24 – 7, a safe area, and management seems to really care about the customers. The room a c is nice and cool, with a vented system. The suite does have a nice sized kitchen and a table and chairs . We did not eat breakfast here, but I have in the past, and did enjoy it. We like quiet hotels, and this was a quiet Memorial Day stay for two nights. This hotel gets high marks from me, and if they continue to care about their clients as they currently do, this is our new go to hotel. You can tell that the management here is top notch.

Hotel is about 5 minutes from a client I visit monthly so I stay here often. Room is always clean and the beds are always comfortable. I once had an issue with the iron in the room not working and housekeeping came up within 10 minutes with another. Looks to be a pretty safe area. They have a security guard who patrols the property. I have also walked late night to the TGIFridays about a 5 minute walk away and never felt nervous. They have a basic breakfast in the morning with usually 2 hot items(eggs, sausage, cheese omelets, biscuits and gravy) and the usual bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt. Nothing spectacular but will hold you over until lunch. Will definitely be staying there again when I’m in the area.

I haven’t stayed at this location in a few years but decided to do so for a 4 day stay this last week. Here are things that have changed since my last stay No more managers reception — thumbs down No more beer sold in the sundry station — thumbs down Very slow internet — thumbs down Revitalized breakfast area — thumbs up Cookies as late as 8:00 pm — thumbs up My room had no fridge or microwave, when I was staying here on a regular basis my room always had both, this might be my fault, but as a Hilton diamond they should have at least tried to put me in an upgraded room especially for a four day stay.

This is a classy Hampton Inn with friendly service. It is not easy to find, as it’s situated in the middle of an office park area, but it is quiet and comfortable. Their workout facility is also well-appointed, which I always appreciate during my business travels. The free breakfast is a nice perk.

Sitting in room as I write this. The room is clean and mattresses are very firm and even I.e. No lumps and slopes. I have stayed in many hamptons and give this one 4stars because there was no meat at the breakfast bar. Oh yes, you might want to ask for a room near elevator as the halls are lengthy !!

There was one major issue here, which is why we ended up leaving and going to another hotel. The beds felt like springs when laying onto the bed. We tried room 209 first and the 518. Both rooms had this same issue. The bed makes or breaks the hotel, and the bed broke it this time. I wouldn’t recommend coming here until after the beds are replaced.

This Hampton Inn was great! I stayed here while in visiting the Atlanta, Georgia area. It’s not too far away from the city if you have a rental car. The price was great and how can you go wrong with a hot complimentary breakfast? You can’t… the service was great they were able to accommodate our early check-in the rooms were clean. Overall I’m definitely staying here again when I’m in the Atlanta area. It’s also conveniently located near many department stores like Super Target and it shares a parking lot with a karaōke bar which I thought was interesting. But, I didn’t have a chance to go in :)

How have I not written this review yet? I have stayed at this location at least 10 times in the last year. The property is safe, clean, and quiet. It’s off the highway by a few blocks, so there are no noise issues on one side of the building versus the other. The rates tend to be about 10−15% lower than the Marriott next door as well. The rooms are fairly consistent, but the upper floors and the suite rooms are truly better than the standard rooms. While the standard rooms are fine, clean, and updated, the suite and upper floor(6 – 8) are just sharper and smarter, some with kitchenettes. Since I have stayed here so many times, and I am a Hilton Diamond member, I think instant upgrades to the better rooms should be a given. It does not always happen, though. But it should.

While in the Atlanta area last week, I stayed at the Hampton Inn. This particular location is about 25 – 30 miles outside the city in Duluth. Now I understand this isn’t the Ritz, but this place was super nice and the right price. When I entered the lobby, it was as if I had entered into some type of lodge, with wooden frames/beams, a big fireplace, comfy furniture and a huge plasma TV. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Also, HI replaced all of their old beds with new customized Hampton Beds by Serta. HI’s are part of the Hilton Hotel chain, so you can assume all HI’s will be up to par in whichever city you’re visiting. I say this especially since I’ve found this not to be true with some other chains, which have been hit or miss over the years.
