History

Established in 2007.

Matt Boo, Co-​owner of Duluth Stove and Fireplace, is a lifelong resident of Duluth. He is a retired Captain with the Minnesota Army National Guard. He was president of the Arrowhead Builders Association in 2000. Matt has been retailing hearth products in the Duluth market for 24 years. He has received hearth products training and certification from the National Fireplace Institute, Hearth and Home Technologies, and Fireplace Products International.

Jason May, Co-​owner of Duluth Stove and Fireplace, moved to Duluth in 1992 to attend the University of Duluth where he graduated with a B.A. and a B.F.A. in 1997. Jason has been retailing hearth products in the Duluth market for 13 years, and has received hearth products training and certification from the National Fireplace Institute, Hearth and Home Technologies, Fireplace Products International, Lennox Hearth Products, and CFM.
