Reston Limousine

My husband and I were stuck on snowy roads with our driver and his gorgeous limo for 7 hours. Despite the nail biting ice and unknown, he was not only a calm and conservative driver, but had the most professional, kind, and patient attitude ever! He should receive an award for that evening!

Absolutely poor! The handler asked me if I could wait to take the next shuttle, although I was booked for 1100. I agreed, then found out that the next one was not until 1200, plus the 1100 left early! We were dropped off at an incorrect location & told we would be picked up there later. When the driver was asked for a contact number, he laughed! After the game, a group of us met to try and find the shuttle & one had to call dispatch to get numerous incorrect directions. When we finally found the handler, we were directed to walk several blocks in a cold rain. Many people had children along. A grossly UNSAT performance!

We booked Reston Limousine to provide transportation to and from our wedding venue in Purcellville, VA, in addition to a town car to take my husband and I back to our hotel after our wedding. While there were a couple of issues (not all at the fault of Reston Limousine), I have to commend Reston Limousine (Barry, especially) for their complete professionalism, responsiveness and determination to ameliorate the situation. Barry took the time to walk us through everything, from A to Z, that had happened — and in doing so, was very attentive, gracious and generous in compensating for what had happened. Long story short, while we had an unfortunate experience, Reston Limousine more than atoned for what happened and beyond that, was a pleasure to deal with. So thank you, Barry, for your exemplary customer service.

I got married way out in the suburbs, and I hired a 30-​person bus from Reston Limo to pick up my DC-​based friends and take them to the wedding and back. The reservation-​making experience was stress-​free, they sent me ample documentation over email to confirm my reservation. On the day of the wedding, the bus arrived exactly where I asked it to 30 minutes early, and the bus driver was in contact with me via phone to ensure that everything was in order. They got to the wedding site with no problem (actually got there early too) despite it being a somewhat confusing place to get to. They also showed up early to pick guests up from the reception.
With Reston Limo, I didn’t have to worry: things simply got done.

My girlfriends and I rode Reston Limo today for the wine tour.
Exceeded my expectations completely. Allen the driver was professional, funny and truly accommodating made sure us gals were having a great time. Amanda our tour host was just as awesome and definitely kept us on time as we moved from the 1^st vineyard to the next. The raffle at the end and gift for the birthday girl was a very nice touch.

We are taking a bus with Reston limo to the nats game. Driver showed up on time (not early, right on time). Bus itself is terrible. Transmission doesn’t seem to be working properly. Extremely old and bumpy. AC doesn’t work. We are getting a little bus sick. Disappointed with the quality of the bus.

Wish I could give 0 stars. They gouged me on prices and had the rudest customer service agent. I will never, ever, ever use them again.

So we have finally received our refund from Reston Limousine. I don’t think it’s ok that it took 6 months to receive this refund, but they are trying to make the situation right.
My suggestion to Reston Limousine is to get more back office staff. Clearly things are going by the wayside due to lack of staffing or insufficient staffing.

I recently took one of the brew bus tours offered by Reston Limo. The tour was $ 39 per person with pick up locations at East Falls Church and at RTC. Being a Reston resident, I chose the RTC pick up location. Our bus arrived a few minutes late but that was no big deal. Once on board we were off to our first location — Old Ox Brewery in Ashburn.
Reston Limo had arranged for a private tour and tasting before Old Ox had officially opened up to the public. There was no tasting fee at Old Ox (or at least for the tour). After a few drinks we boarded the bus to head to our next stop. Round 2 was a tasting and tour at Lost Rhino in Ashburn. For $ 8 per person, we were given 4 tastings and a tour from the owner. After the tour we were given time to unwind, eat lunch and enjoy a few more drinks. The final stop was a visit to Beltway Brewing in Sterling. We had a few drinks, a tour of the brewery and then it was back on to the bus.
MJ with Reston Limo was on board for the trip and kept us on schedule for each stop. She was fun and personable, even playing a round of foos with my friend and I. All in all it was a pleasant experience. I look forward trying future brew tours.

We have used Reston Limo two times for the wine tours. The first time was a great experience. We had an absolute blast (until the next day). The second time we got a very rude driver. I won’t go into details but when we contacted Donna, the manager at Reston Limo, about the driver and she took immediate action. She informed me they never had the problem before and the driver was taken off of the wine/​beer tour routes. We were offered compensation for the poor experience. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome of the situation and I have learned not to judge a company due to one employee. The company cares about their customers and has made it right in my book. Will use them again for an inexpensive ride out to the VA wineries.

Dan and Reston Limos helped me coordinate a private tour for some VIP guests and it went flawless. Driver showed up 10 minutes early and was very knowledgeable of the DC area. They returned to the hotel right on time. Overall this was a superior experience!

When hiring a limo company to take us to two wineries I did not think there could possibly be a much confusion, anger and over all lack of business than what I experienced with your company this weekend.
Quality of driver–
The worst. We left Arlington Va at 11:30 with a tour starting at 12:30– Google maps says we’re 40 minutes away from our first location. We hit a little traffic, which is to be expected, then about 50minutes later we pulled into a neighborhood (he’s lost). I asked the driver how far away we were he says 5 minutes then I look at the clock at it’s 12:25, ok perfect timing for our tasting. I get the feeling he’s lying so I google map it and the GPS says we’re driving the opposite way of the winery, we’re still 12 miles (22minutes away) and he keeps fighting with me saying he’s going to right way. I asked where his GPS was and he shows me a printed piece of paper– WHAT?! A printed map which you clearly have no idea where you are, we’re 20minutes from our 1^st winery and still have plans to go to a 2^nd.
I had to put a deposit down at the winery (which we lost due this driver) we ended up skipping it all together and only going to one winery. As a limo driver you have 1 job – to arrive! Why would a company send a man to drive a whole bachelorette party without an iphone, smartphone, gps or anything more than a piece of paper.
Quality of fleet–
We rented the 12 passenger Terra Van from Reston limo for my bachelorette party. The limo arrived on time but I was not happy with the overall appearance, there was a giant electronic handicapped lifter in the back (def not in the sample photo) we booked the van due to the pictures that includes a table and more «open» seating rather than bus seating of two people in each seat. This was disappointing but nothing to worry about– just pretty misleading on their website.
As a bride this really put a damper on the day, it threw off the whole flow of the party, it embarrassed me and it cost us $$ and a sweet winery. For having such good reviews I would NEVER USE THEM again

Reston Limousine is the best! Several family members and friends joined my husband and I on a wine Loudoun wine tour for his birthday. Debra on the sales staff was friendly, easy to work with, precise and prompt with details and contract. Terry was our driver and did a fantastic job. He was on time, helpful with all our requests and a fun guy to ride around with for five hours. I highly recommend Reston Limousine and will definitely book one of their vehicles and drivers for our next outing.

I had the pleasure of riding from IAD Airport with Reston Limousine. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service that I received. The driver was professional and very well dressed. The car was immaculate and had water waiting for me.
The airport was not clear about where to meet my driver, but it was easy to spot him with a sign with my name on it.
As a business traveler, I have to say that when visiting the DC area, I feel safe, secure and comfortable traveling with Reston Limousine!

David took my group on a DC tour for the day. We had a super experience! He was absolutely great and was so personable and pleasant! Overall we had a wonderful experience with Reston Limo!

I recently had to travel to DC on business and used Reston Limousine for car service to and from my hotel. The vehicles were spotless and the chauffeurs were professional and on time. I also was in one of their buses for a group outing and it was new and comfortable. It even had power strips along the side so we could all charge our cell phones!

We just got back from our third or maybe fourth public wine tour with Reston limo.
The Good:
They take care of the driving, so you can have fun!
If you can get your friends together you can have your own «bus» for the price of a public tour.
The Bad:
If you don’t get your group together, you will have random idiots on your bus. We had a douchebag who peed on the side of the winery owners home, and threw water bottles at other patrons. Apparently, he had a security clearance, and he blamed his race.
I would definitely go through them again but I won’t be booking unless I can get my own bus!

Um, yeah, me and Mara G. hopped a Reston Limo (tour bus) up to NYC on 10÷30÷11 for the day. Yeah, it was nice. Roomy. We saw some movies. We stopped at those NJ Turnpike rest stops on the way up and back. Anthony, our driver, made stops in Chinatown, the TriBeCa Grand, and Times Square, at our Circle in the Square Theater.
What a civilized way to travel to and from New York City. I can’t wait for the next trip with this service! I’m a fan! Woohoo! This is as good as it gets!

I booked one of their wine tours. I think to drive that far we should visit more than just 2 wineries.
Our driver Robert was very personable and fun to have.

When most people think of ordering a limo for their wedding, they imagine something cool and a little luxurious for themselves on their special day.
Not for us. Nope, the limo was for my dad and his friends — my husband and I (the groom and bride), would be driving to the wedding in my dad’s van, carrying a ton of stuff that would be needed to set up the location. Heh. Thankfully, I never believed for a moment that my wedding was to be about me or my husband-​to-​be. It was all about my parents. Completely and totally. My husband and I were just props for *their* big day.
I wanted a small wedding. Tiny really. However, my dad convinced me to expand the guest list to 60… with he and my mom claiming 34 of those slots. Yeah. This is why you didn’t get invited to my wedding. *THEN*, my dad decided that since he and his guests were planning on getting wasted, that they would need transportation. In the form of a super-​stretch Hummer limo. Yes, you read that right. My dad is secretly a gangsta rap-​artist pimp wannabee. Or a 16 year old boy. It really explains so much.
So my husband, who has a pretty wonderful sense of humor about all of this, starts calling around to all of the limo companies that service this area to find that the biggest Hummer limo he could find, could only fit 15 people. My dad didn’t want two limos, as he will forever be sure that the other limo would be the one that was *really* fun, so we began looking for party buses. Again, the maximum one that we could find, could only hold up to 20. No one seemed to be able to come up with a solution for us — they were all pushing us to take 2 limos or 2 party buses, completely ignoring our key requirement that we be able to fit all of my dad’s guests into one.
Just as we were getting frustrated and ready to give up, my husband calls Reston Limo, who was able to come up with a simple solution. They had a big bus that could easily seat 38. While it wasn’t as sexy as a Hummer, or as fun as the party bus, the big bus had the small overhead LCD screens, that could play any DVD that my parents brought with them. AWESOME! They even worked with us on the price — as my parents suddenly seemed to have deleted the word «budget» from their vocabulary.
The bus was early to pick up the guests, which I personally liked (I was having all sorts of vendor issues that day — so not having to worry about the bus was a bonus), even though all my dad’s guests were working on «Chinese time» which meant that practically everyone not staying at the hotel was running 10 minutes late. I was a little less pleased when it came time to pick everyone up at the end of the wedding, as the driver didn’t really follow my directions, but it was also extremely late, I was very tired and cranky, and still peeved at some of my wedding vendors, so perhaps I wasn’t the most coherent when giving directions.
