All three of us thought a burger sounded good so we came to Yogis for a quick bite. We had been there two previous times and have enjoyed the food. Last night we had very poor service as our server was too busy spending extended time with one specific table. We watched her serve them a handful of times in our time there. Upon seating ourselves, we were only served our waters in the 24 minutes we were there. Sadly we decided to leave as we saw no signs of our server and were hungry. After reflecting on this experience, we realized we had sub-par service the other two times we had been there as well, though it had never been this poor. 2 stars because the food is very yummy. I just hope you have better service during your experience. I’m not sure we will be back.

We love yogies wings!!! Their hot garlic sauce is by far the best in Columbus! The size of the wings are perfect and Sunday’s 20 wings for $ 12 and 2 $ draft! Great atmosphere lots of tvs and seating.

Nicer sports bar with many strategically placed large high end tv’s. Great place to watch a game. Convenient location. Spacious and Clean, and no riffraff. Typical sports bar higher priced food. But… No riffraff!

This is an average American bar… food was okay… drink was pretty standard. The place is also a little too loud overall and the service was somehow slow… I honestly enjoyed the vibe at 101 beer kitchen next door better. But the price here is more affordable.

We came here on the Fourth of July. Had to wait every time we wanted another drink because our waitress would disappear. Eventually two girls started coming around but then one made a comment about how we were making them both work. Rude comments, poor service, and not attentive at all. I prefer the Yogis on Frantz rd, they are more attentive and don’t disappear every time you want a drink.

I was here twice recently. I feel like if you’re not a regular here, prepare to be treated like you don’t exist. The first time was for St. Patrick’s Day. They were busy and it’s a seat yourself establishment(in my opinion, those are big mistakes to begin with). It was crowded, but we finally found a spot. Our waiter takes our drink orders, and then he kinda forgets about us. I had to get up to find him to take our order after we’d been sitting there for about 10 minutes. After he takes our order, he pretty much forgets about us for the rest of the night, only checking on us once, twice, tops. Yes, they were really busy, but when you see other people getting good service and you’re being ignored, it’s not a good feeling. I once again had to get up and find someone to cash us out. I normally over tip. That night, he got nothing and I left a not explaining why. We went again last night, giving them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy the last time we were there. Same thing happened. Ignored for about 5 minutes after taking our seat. People who walked in 10 minutes after us were eating and gone before us. At one point, our waitress, who hadn’t checked on us in ages, was standing next to our table, talking to a co-worker or friend who stopped by, and when she was done with her lengthy conversation, she walked away as if we didn’t exist. Once again, someone who wasn’t our waitress cashed us out. I left a small tip this time because she did check on us more than our previous server. The food is nothing too spectacular, otherwise that would keep me coming back. The only reason I would ever consider it is because of their reasonable drink prices. But I think I can get those anywhere. I do not recommend this place based on the bad service alone.

Wanted to try something different so we wandered into this place. The first thing I noticed was it was so dark in here for a Saturday afternoon. It looked like a lot of regulars were in there as they were talking to the server like they were old friends. Service was good and I liked the old fashioned«ding ding» from the back whenever an order was ready. We had the hummus as an appetizer and it was good, served with warm pita bread and cucumber slices. Hubs had a classic cheeseburger which he really enjoyed — simple but well executed. I had the buffalo sliders which had some great caramelized onions. The food arrived quickly and most importantly hot! They have weekly specials too. I think we might be going back for one of those. The food here is basic good bar food.

One of my favorite places to watch games. I’ve been coming to this location since it was Average Joe’s(and Joe’s original). When I was 15 my friends and I would come here after school. The staff was always nice to us even though we couldn’t buy alcoholic drinks. I’ve tried most of the food here. Their wings are really good and not that expensive. They have daily specials and if you get them their food is cheap compared to most other places. If you can, come here during lunch because it’s never busy and is always busy around dinner time. Also, if you’re under 21 or if you have kids with you make sure to get here before 730 because they have a policy that no one under 21 is allowed after 9. They have probably 50+ TVs in here so you can get watch whatever game is on from any seat.

We arrived here in force(table of 9) after a trip to the nearby Columbus Zoo. A few in the party spoke highly of this place so I was pretty excited to try it. The first issue I noticed was that the waiter(s) missed half of our party when getting the orders and did not come back for at least 10 minutes to correct their mistake. The second was having us either close out our checks after our orders — how am I to know if the service was worth tipping? I ordered their breakfast burger with steak fries, which should be good as you expect it — hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, and beef. What I got about 40 minutes later was a regular burger with lettuce and tomatoes that I immediately sent back. A kitchen mixup, no big deal right? The corrected order then took another 30 minutes to serve, at which point my party was waiting on me to start/finish eating so we could leave. The actual burger was decent, but soured by the overall experience. The manager, however, was very apologetic and seemed sympathetic to the overall lack of service by the waiting staff. I still have a pending charge on my statement from them which is different than the actual charge of my meal. I can’t wait for what antics will ensue and hoops I’ll have to jump through to correct this issue too. I was told by those in my party that this was never their previous experience, so maybe this time was a fluke.

I lived right off sawmill for years so I was around for average joes and joes original too. Usually Id go on Friday nights with my mom before Scioto’s football game and because they were regulars we were treated like 1st class. I loved it so much that I took my boyfriend there when we first started dating and totally talked it up. When we went by ourselves service was terrible. We sat at a booth by the bar and constantly had to walk up to the bar to get drinks because our server was no where to be found. It took her about half an hour to even ask us if we wanted to eat. Yogi’s will only have my service if I go with my parents. If you’re not a regular, you might want to try something else.

Yogi’s is an awesome place to watch sports! They have large TVs everywhere, so you’ll have a good view pretty much anywhere you sit. We’ve gone here a couple times to watch OSU football games and it’s always been packed. Make you come early to grab seats! They have a special menu for certain game days, but it’s typical bar food. The wings are a good choice and the chicken nachos were average.

Great atmosphere and good food but horrible service. Once the food was delivered we were not approached again for 70 minutes! Not for additional drinks, water, to check on us — nothing. We tracked down a waitress three times during this hour long wait and each time they said they would be right out but never came. We asked for the manager who also never showed. The wait staff just appeared clueless and/or completely apathetic. Will never return.

Yogi’s is a great place! Fantastic atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff, and great food. It’s one of my favorite places to stop by after work. I don’t write many reviews, but the experience I’ve had at Yogi’s inspired me to take some time to throw them some credit for a great job.

Well, I was supposed to meet a group of people at 101 Beer Kitchen, but as I was running late(and then they ran even later) we encountered an hour and a half wait — so we opted to jump in around the corner at Yogi’s. We all ordered a burger — I forget what it’s called, but it had a fried egg on it — and it was surprisingly good! I mean, I’m sure the meat patty was frozen/bought in bulk, but for a place like this? When you’re downing a few beers(they have a «not bad» selection, but that’s mainly because they have Bell’s Two Hearted and Arrogant Bastard on tap), cheap and easy grub isn’t bad. The fries were good — and the mac and cheese was really good, too. Evidently I need to go back and try the«pig wings» — I’m a fan of wings in general, so I’ll have to come back and do an order!

I hadn’t visited Yogi’s much… but I have to comment on lunch food. I ordered a smoked turkey wrap with bacon for lunch and a side of cole slaw. This wrap was delicious. I don’t recall ever getting wrap that was so near«hot» as in heat like the one I got… and no grilled veggies or anything. The turkey, bacon, cheese and sauce with tomatoes and lettuce were perfection! I also orderd an APP — jalepenos poppers wrapped in bacon and baked. OMELG(Oh my ever-lovin God) were these apps tasty and they WEREHOT! I can’t imagine ever ordering any other lunch food(s) than what I ate today. Perhaps, maybe, sure, I might… but I’ve got to return to Yogi’s for another run at these menu items I enjoyed today. WOW!

Normally, I would rate this a 3-star establishment… except 2 words boost this place up — «pig wings». I hate sharing my secret but if you want something different from traditional bar food, PIGWINGS! They taste like good BBQ ribs with huge chunks of meat that practically fall off the bone. Average bar — Drinks are relatively cheap, plentiful TVs, and an occasional visit from the waitress. I come here with co-workers for Happy Hour and enjoy a few buckets.

This use to be Joe’s Original, but is under new ownership now. If you are looking for a bite to eat, there are better places around. I should have realized when I did not see anyone else eating that this placed focused more on the«bar» than the«grille». The waitress was quick to ask about drink orders. We asked for menus. She had to go look for one. She brought us just one(when there were two of us) and walked away to go get the drink orders. We asked for another menu when she returned with the drinks. She shared that the menus were hard to come by. She did go search for a second menu after we asked for it. I ordered the daily special, Italian Grinder with fries. I asked if they leave the banana peppers off. She assured me they would. Guess what I got? Banana peppers. The sub was lukewarm. The fries were seasoned. Drinks ran empty. Waitress was clear across the bar assisting someone else. My friend had the wings and said they were«okay». After eating, she asked how was it. Told her it was«okay». Waitress a little surprisingly commented, «Just okay?» And, then she quickly added«Well, it’s bar food» and then went to ring out the bill. It was an inexpensive meal. Needless to say, service left much to be desired. The place is much the same as it previous layout. Lots of TV’s for watching a game. So, if you are looking to go out with a group of friends and drink, it could be a fun place, just don’t count on responsive service. And, after all, «it’s bar food».

Met a buddy of mine here for a few beers on a Saturday evening. TV’s are numerous and very good. Didn’t eat anything. The beer is cold and reasonably priced. It was a good crowd. Not too busy, not too empty. And the bartenders are some very good-looking young ladies. That doesn’t hurt at all.
