A friend and I decided to stop here and check it out. We used to go here when it was a previous business and it recently changed to Average Joe’s. We meet around 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday evening. The inside was clean and very empty — lots of tables/booths and a nice bar, but barely anyone there. The bartenders were very nice and helpful, a little slow with so few people there. They were cleaning(wiping down tables), chatting with other patrons, and odds and ends things. So, it wasn’t like they were just standing around and ignoring the patrons. I ordered a drink and food — they have a large selection of beers on tap! Something I liked was if you didn’t eat burgers, you could switch out any burger with a veggie burger(frozen then cooked) or a chicken breast. I ordered a buffalo chicken breast. The chicken was grilled and topped with blue cheese and buffalo sauce and also came with pickle, tomato, lettuce, and onion. The chicken was meh, nothing spectacular, something you might get at a fast food joint. The blue cheese crumbles were nice, large pieces. The buffalo sauce was your basic buffalo sauce. I also ordered the onion straws, which were crispy and tasty with the sauce provided. Overall, it was your basic bar food. Nothing spectacular and not something I would go out of my way to visit. Easy place to meet before or after a movie, though.
