Smog Station

Called and had smog done on same day. Quick and straight forward with pricing and happy with the friendly service I received.
They have this cool parrot that walks around the cage and shop floor because «he thinks he is a dog» according the mechanic’s comment. Lol.

Only place I go for smog checks. Very friendly and cool owner. Fast service and upfront.

My wife needed her Honda CRV Smoged, but also the Check Engine Light was on. They repaired the Check Engine light, and also performed the 100,000 mile service. We found the experience to be very quick and the price was fair. The team at Smog Station is very friendly and easy to work with. I will recommend them to all my friends! And Bailey (the Parrot) was pretty cool too!

Love these guys! They are relaxed, friendly and quick. I’ve used them for test only and regular smog tests. A little hard to find, you have to really look for signs, but worth it.

I wouldn’t think of taking my cars anywhere else. Troy is fair and honest along with diligent about discovering the root cause and cost effective fixes!!!

Found «Smog Station» via Unilocal and regret nothing. Very friendly, very efficient. I called them and within 60 minutes I was there, checked, and back home. Granted they will not always be that available, but still worth reporting. I had a Diesel smogged and had zero issues. Will return and recommend when needed.

Smogged my cars here for well over a decade now (through 3 locations).
It’s not the neatest place, it’s a touch crowded and messy. The service has always been rapid and the wait is usually not long. I point people in their direction when a smog place comes up in conversation.

Nice and friendly business! I was in and out very quickly about 20 minutes or so. Troy is very friendly and I definitely recommend this place to get a smog. It’s a little hidden behind the big gold building next to the glass shop, but the address description was very helpful with a GPS! All in all, best smog experience yet!

I’ve been using Troy and Matt at the Smog Station for decades for my stable of cars. Lots of smog stories, but never one with a sad ending in all the years. Knowledge and experience are key.
Shakeys Pizza (remember them?) had a sign that would fit for these guys:
«We have no quarrel with others who charge less. They know what their product is worth.»

A little tricky to find, but worth the effort. Guys were super nice, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

The place is somewhat tricky to find — you maneuver around some auto dealers and follow the sign into a one-​way road located on an industrial complex with trucks and forklifts moving around. At the very end of the road you’ll find a hangar-​like structure — that would be Smog Station.
I was the first one in. Customer service was friendly and attentive. Their waiting room was huge and had interesting decorations of various signs, license plates, photos, etc. They had a huge flat-​screen TV playing ESPN, and a large parakeet chirping to keep things interesting. They were also good about letting you use their restroom.
I was out in about 15 minutes. They aren’t the cheapest Smog Check place I been to, but they were the closest to my location at the time and got the job done. I noticed they do have print coupons from time to time — maybe next time they’ll have them on Unilocal like other places.

Excellent customer service. The Unilocal driving directions aren’t correct. Turn on Scarlett Dr instead of Scarlett Ct. And you will find it. It’s at the end of the court (driveway).

Fast and friendly. Interesting waiting room. The place kind of looks like a mess but it gets the job done for the standard reasonable price.

Ok, so I got an Acura that had been hot rodded out by the fast and furious crowd… I took it to my usual smog guy and he tells me the PCV (whatever that is…) is disconnected and that it failed miserably. No referral, no help no suggestions, just pay and leave now I’ve got other cars to smog.
My friend and neighbor told me I should take the car here. They know what they’re doing. So I do. I brought the car in, Matt looked it over and re-​connected the PCV (Whew!) then tested it and it passed no problem. he even told me that if I replaced the thermostat, it would run even cleaner. I was sure I was looking at a major bill to get this fixed…
They didn’t even charge me anything extra for the diagnosis and fix. Who does that these days?!!
These guys may not be the cheapest in town, but they are the best!

Took my out of state car here to get certified before going to the DMV for tags. The guy was fast and efficient. I got the Unilocal discount (just mentioned it to them, didn’t have it printed out).
Girl at the desk is super cute too which is always a plus from my point of view ;^)

I’ve been going here the past 8 yrs for all my family’s cars. I was there recently with my 1999 jeep cherokee that for some reason always had a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on. I always went to the dealer and had it fixed (for a fee) but got tired of spending the money for it.
Long story short, I always failed the SMOG test because of this. Time to give some $$$ to the dealer. Little did I know that what the dealer was doing was just resetting the diagnostic and not fixing the problem. That is why after a few days, the check engine light would go back ON.
This smog station actually told me what was wrong with my CAR! They changed a worn out rubber part with the EVAL system and re-​set the system. They told me that now it is a two step process because of the re-​set. I had to drive my car a few days for the diagnostics to run and finish and come back for the SMOG.
Now, my check engine light is not lighting and passed the SMOG. Best part is, THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME anything for the diagnosis and rubber part! just the SMOG FEE!

I had spoke with Discount Smog and they were entirely rude to me and wouldn’t be straight forward. My car is 10+ years and it needed smogging. I looked up Smog Station on Unilocal!and saw all these wonderful ads.
Very straight forward. Evap, Smog, Cert, $ 70 flat out the door. No hassle, no hidden fees, just an up front price. He was really nice and they have a cute parrot that hangs out in the shop.
For a guy that’s been doing business since 1984, he’s got the right idea.
