Paradise Biryani Pointe

While the Biryani is OK, the Naan (indian bread) were extremely burnt and stale. Such a huge disappointment bad they charge 3 $ for that burnt crap. :(waste of time and money. Panneer curry is not at all par with the Panneer tikka consistency. All in all a total flop :(

So coming first in math doesn’t mean you can flunk in English and other subjects :)

Rest of the stuff is average or below average. So 3 stars in total. Also I think their Biryaani is one of the best in the area.

«Worst place for biryani not even worth for 5 $», waste of keeping biryani name as «HYDERABAD DUM BIRYANI» these people are spoiling the flavour of hyderabad dum biryani.
Today we had taken an tray biryani as togo, Rice was overcooked it seems to be like yesterday’s taste was worst no flavour of biryani. This is the worst biryani which i had ever tasted since last 1 year in CA.

Just finished my lunch here with a friend. The food and service was amazing !!!
Wish it was closer to my home, I’m defiantly coming back. I had the chicken tikka kabob and garlic Nan, my friend had the chicken tikka masala lunch special. They seem to use different spices then the other restaurants we have been to and we like them! I have no problem saying this is the best Indian food I’ve had in years.

We’ve both eaten there and ordered takeout multiple times from these guys. We’ve received consistently good food and friendly service. The wait times for take has been around 30 minutes, but everything is fresh and tastes great.
There are plenty of options for vegetarians, the portions are large and the food is fresh. The atmosphere is simple; I think the owners might have taken over what was previously a fast food location, but we were comfortable eating there and enjoyed our meal.

Service is very slow and the head Or Manger is very Rude while Serving. But the taste is ok. They have to take care of it.

Pros-​Good biriyani! they live up to their name. very spicy goat masala & curry. surprisingly, their street noodles and Chinese combo are really tastydefinitely worth a try.
Cons-​very long wait times for to-​go orders. We lost our patience not once but twice due to their delayed service.

Biriyani was OK but had a lot of masala patches in them.
The Sherwa was just a sambar with sambar vegetables in that. The Raita was watery and not great.
How can any biriyani be eaten with Sambar and a watery raita.

Read the reviews and ordered street noodles to go since they were out of goat. Could barely understand the guy on the phone and had to ask several times for him to slow down so I could understand him. At the end he hurredly told me the toral and almost hung up before I could rush in a question about when it would be ready. When I picked it up, had to ask for plastic silverware and napkins — that should be standard!
The street noodles were oily, lacked flavor. The chicken was small pieces and tasted like all dark meat. Noodles themselves tasted like they were ramen.

Amazing food!!! Got the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken… One word… Wow!!! Food tastes very fresh and lots of flavor and ingredients!!! Very much worth the trip back as service was equally impressive. If looking for a good place for that Indian food fix go here… Guy held door for us leaving and was very friendly

Wow, Unilocal found a new way to screw users and appease the owners by removing the stars.
It doesn’t mean users are stupid. Veggie Biryani in Paradise was a nightmare. It was a bag of cooked rice with chill powder and overspiced potatoes and cauliflower. It was literally burning the stomach. I love spicy food but it doesn mean I like my rice to be full of chilli powder. Biryani is not supposed to be super hot. If someone likes it that way, it is a customized taste but not the right way for a biryani.
I am avoiding this place, what a disaster.

Having eaten at their Boston n New Jersey branches, we were a regular for biryani and their indo chinese appetizers without any issues with quality or customer service.
Having said that, the experience with Paradise Dublin branch was horrible! Perfect example of how rude behaviour can drive your customers away!
Ordered for take out at around 8 pm and were given 30 mins time frame by the guy on phone. We ended up waiting till 9.30 pm and finally left after asking them to cancel one item as it was still not yet prepared. When we told them we have been waiting for 45 mins, the guy at the counter rudely said we are busy without even looking at us. or apologising. When my husband told him you should hold take out orders if your kitchen is short on manpower, the bald guy quickly replied… ok then don’t order from next time! … well point noted and shared with 4 – 5 other families in our apartment community!
Request to Unilocal: pls provide 0 star option as well as that’s what this branch deserves!

The décor is modern, clean and bright with dark black chairs, with 2 large tvs. The butter chicken is pretty good, but the shrimp curry wasn’t that great. The Nan was pretty good, but not the best I’ve had. We ordered 3 servings of Nan bread but I think we only got 2, not sure.
Looks like their Server was down: It took almost 10 minutes for the server to come to get our order. They kept some people waiting so long, they abandoned their dinner plans. When the server finally came out, he was exceedingly impatient. When I asked how spicy the dishes were, all he said was «spicy» — he refused to elaborate. They were’nt friendly at all.
Based on what I could gather, every dish on their menu is spicy except for the butter chicken and the chicken Tikka. The Butter chicken we ordered still had bones in it, and the shrimp were still partially shelled.
I do not recommend this place at all.

I have been here 3 times in the past 3 weeks and each time, we experienced something different.
The first time was on a Wednesday around 6:30. The place was pretty packed but we were seated right away. The man came quickly and took our order. The food was amazing! We ordered the Chicken Street Noodles which were spectacular! The noodles were so soft and the flavor was perfect! It’s filled with vegetables which adds more flavor into the dish. We also got the Chicken Biriyani and a Butter Naan. The naan is amazing! I’m Indian so I’ve each hundreds of naans in my lifetime but this naan was soft yet crispy. It was perfect. The Chicken Biriyani is very well made too! They put a lot of chicken in it. The service wasn’t too great. He came to take our order and then to give us the check. Never checked up on us but they were checking up on the non-​Indian patrons.
Second visit was with my dad and his friend who were trying it out for the first time. The place was pretty empty but there was a catering order so all their focus was on that. We sat there for 10 minutes before they even took our order. We only ordered 2 dishes and 40 minutes had passed and no one came to tell us ‘sorry it’s taking long, we also have a catering order’, no one came to refill our drinks. Nothing. More than 40 minutes passed by with no one even acknowledging that we are there so we got up and left the restaurant. That was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Third time… seated immediately and order was taken in a timely fashion. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biriyani, Naan, and Street Noodles. The Biriyani and Street Noodles came about 12 minutes after placing the order. Then the Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan came 10 minutes after that, when we were pretty much done eating. I don’t understand why they don’t bring all the food together. Oh, and the water there served was warm and tasted like what I imagine toilet water tastes like. I actually had to spit it out. Absolutely disgusting! And who serves warm water?!! It took them a while to make our to go order too. Also, our waiter was joining in on our personal conversation. No one even looked at him or asked for his opinion but he decided to butt in. Weird.
Overall, we are happy with the food but unhappy about the service. The service is very inconsistent and unreliable. They don’t really ask how the food is or if we need anything which I think is ridiculous. They don’t even deserve a tip since all they do is take our order, bring the food, and give us the check.

This is my go to place for gobi manchurian and street noodles, topped off with mango Lassi. I’ve had the biriyani in the past, i usually get the mutton biriyani. If you don’t like spicy food definitely request mild, because «normal» spice was still pretty spicy.
I dropped in about 530pm while I was waiting for my tires to be changed across the street. The restaurant was empty except for the workers and a few order pick ups. I prefer to just take out, but I had to eat in because of my car. It was a little awkward because I was the only girl, so I just ate quickly and watched the movie in the background.

I enjoyed the chicken biryani a lot. Spaah-​see! I would go back for that no problem. And curious about the rest of the menu now.
Perhaps not a great choice for vegetarians even though there are some veg dishes.
Atmosphere — meh, a box with hot&cold bollywood. Shut up and eat yer food.

Food was awesome, but super spicy though I ordered mild. It was sooo spicy that I felt my heartburn on my 3^rd bite. Next time I will make sure to say not spicy. Luckily the restaurant was not crowded & the owner noticed that My face was turning red & I drinking Lots of water so he replaced my hot/​spicy Biryani with mild Biryani.

My theory on ordering in a restaurant is to start with their signature dishes, then work your way from there. At Paradise Biryani Pointe their namesake dish is the Biryani, so why get anything else?
Today I walked in before noon and was immediately seated, provided a menu, and given glasses of ice water. No crowd, no wait. Service was polite, quiet, and efficient.
Their lunch Biryani is served in a deep beveled roundish bowl with sides of a curry-​like sauce and a yogurty-​cucumber sauce to dip and pour. They also give you an extra plate to scoop your Biryani onto because the bowl is too full to eat out of.
The goat Biryani ($ 12.99) is my favorite dish because I seldom (never?) cook goat at home. Today there were big pieces of tender savory goat buried in the multi-​colored rice. The meat would just about fall off the bone, but be careful as there were numerous small bones. The medium spice was just enough to induce a mouth tingling burn, but not enough to mask the flavors of the dish. I ended up taking half of my lunch home, which almost never happens to me in any restaurant.
At Paradise Biryani Point, start with their signature Biryani, then go from there.

Just another ‘tikka masala’ place. I’ve had better biryani in the Bay Area.
Their goat biryani is better than the chicken variant.
They should call their ‘Murgh Musallam’ mustard chicken coz it has no other flavor in it.
The biryani saalan was meh.
The double ka meetha was actually the best dish among the stuff we ordered.

Why would anyone in their right mind go to a restaurant called Paradise Biryani Pointe with no intention of ordering Biryani? That’s the question I posed to my colleague this afternoon as we headed over to PBP for lunch (neither of us is a big biryani fan). «Just wait and see» he said with a mysterious smile!
We walked in just before noon and there were just a few folks there (no Indians, I noted grimly). The place was small but clean and tastefully decorated, and I didn’t mind the Bollywood actors cavorting around in blond wigs on the two TVs. Soon after, small groups of south Asians on their lunch hour started filing in, ordering biryani left and right (it must be good!).
My colleague pointed me to the back of the menu where the Monday-​Thursday lunch specials were — «Good value if you don’t want to overstuff yourself on a buffet, especially if we order two different dishes and share.» He ordered the kadai paneer special, I got talked by the iPad-​wielding waiter into the Paradise chicken curry.
It took over 20 minutes for the food to arrive, but boy was it worth the wait! Each special plate included a hot crispy naan neatly quartered, basmati rice cooked just right, and perfectly seasoned dal fry.
The two main dishes we shared were outstanding — the Andhra-​style Paradise chicken: nicely cooked and tasty without being too spicy, and the BEST kadai paneer I’ve ever had: soft yet firm paneer, crisp fresh vegetables, and light yet creamy gravy that delivered an explosion of complex flavors straight from the Indian subcontinent!
I can’t wait to go back — my mouth is watering already just thinking about that kadai paneer and dal fry!
