This bottle and draft house is pretty special. I enjoy hanging out here and catching up with friends over a nice craft pint of beer. This place was recommended to me by a friend at work that helps pour beer here from time to time. The beers always rotate and it’s great to see otherwise non existent beers around. The staff is eclectic and very knowledgeable about their beers and will help you pick something out if you’re undecided. The seating is a little scarce at the bar and on the beer room floor, but I understand the limited space. The place has some old wine barrels placed in center to help with the crowds, but are only for standing. I still highly recommend this location. Lastly, the beer signs all over the place have grown almost like moss on a tree or stone. The stickers in the lone bathroom are pretty cool to look at while doing your business. Now if you go, PLEASE remember to tip appropriately. These guys deserve it!

How do I love thee, let me count the ways. Is it the awesome varied clientele, the games on TV, the fun events, the beer selection, the chalk wall where you can basically set up a tab for your friends or the great bartenders? Hard to choose…

I will be back! My brother took me and my other brother here for a holiday gift. This is one of successful tap rooms that make up the growing successful microbrewery industry in the bay area. I think the Bay Area has a lot of catching to do to reach the status of Seattle, WA or Portland, OR’s microbrewery industry but this place takes a jump forward for the Bay Area. This place is all about mircro brews. They have so much on tap that you can sample and indulge in. It is a very friendly atmosphere and it is located within a plaza with lots of places to eat. They have park-like benches inside and brewing-barrels converted into table stands and tables. Lots of places to sit. They specialize in beer so they don’t serve food. So you can bring outside food. There is an Extreme Pizza, Thai restaurant, Japanese sushi restaurant, and even a pastry shop within the same plaza. So they encourage you to buy food and eat it here. This is great! This makes it real affordable to drink a lot and eat the food you like. I moonlight as a sushi chef, so I made Japanese sushi at home and brought it here… we ate sashimi and sampled a few of their beers. The only one thing I wish they could improve is that the place had a strong smell of cleaning detergent. Other than that this place is great!

Yet another craft beer bar and again, great beer. Let’s face it, people who open up craft beer bars, know what the hell great beer tastes like so it’s practically impossible to go wrong at a place like this. Dug the atmosphere, hard wooden tables and they let you buy pizza next door and bring it in to eat.

Caps&Taps is another new favorite for me! It’s close to work and some coworkers and I found this place here on Unilocal one night! It’s small but I love the décor inside. They have some really good beers, and I love anywhere that has beers from local breweries like drakes, and faction! The bartenders are always really friendly! We have been coming pretty regularly after work and we’ve even made some friends with other regulars here! It’s a great place I definitely recommend!

Oh Unilocal, you didn’t fail me once again. Had some time to kill in the area and found this cool little joint. We quickly fell in love with the place. They have 15 beers on tap and they rotate frequently. For fans of the craft brew scene, this is definitely a place for you. My boyfriend and I are regular beer drinkers and had never had any of the beers they had on tap. That’s a pretty though thing for us to find nowadays. On top of that the bartenders were super knowledgeable and chill. And there was reggae playing. You can’t get much better that that. Needless to say we came and had a few beers, went to dinner with my parents, and then came right back. If we lived closer, we would definitely be regulars here. It wasn’t surprising that most of the people who came in while we were there had definitely been there before.

Nice cool, small spot in Dublin. We wanted to try the sampler that has four 5 oz tastings for $ 10-$ 11 depending on which ones you choose. I was happy with all 4 of my selections and glad I did the sampler. They have about 15 beers on tap and all different kinds. Their 16oz cups go for the $ 6-$ 7 range and you can get their 10oz for about $ 4. It is a good place to go to with one or two people. I wouldn’t recommend going here with a large group. There are tables, but space is limited so keep that in mind. It’s nice that Extreme Pizza is next to it, so you can pick up a pizza to drink with your beer.

Not a bad place to grab a beer. Today, they have several Belgian’s on tap. If they continuously carried my beloved triple, I’d rate this place higher. But, today I get to sample a few different Belgian style beers. Ok, sampling time. The Bruery’s Manifesto(Belgian Wit), Jardinier(Belgian Pale), Trade Winds(Golden Triple), and 7 Swans a Swimming(Quad) — the quad is probably my fave out of the 4. If IPA’s are your thing, they have several available. Dunno if they’re good, but if you’re in the Dublin area, you should come down and check this place out. Enjoy!

Came with coworkers after work for a drink around 5:30. It was highly recommended by friends! I’m not sure why, though, we did not have a great experience. Maybe they were just having an off day. When asking Alex for recommendations, he was vague and of no use when choosing beers. They had around 12 beers on tap and some gourmet sodas — and that is all. My coworker asked for a Black and Tan which Alex refused to serve, with no explanation as to why. After being refused his black and tan my coworker settled on the Altamont Dank Row, which he did not like(«who would like a warm, hoppy beer on a hot afternoon,» my coworker). I asked for a coke, he offered me a root beer, and then brought me an orange soda(which was really good!) but annoying nonetheless. My other two coworkers both ordered a flight, and had the bartender choose the beers. They came out with a card with unintelligible handwriting, and ultimately disappointing tastes. It was $ 10 for a flight; 4 — 5 oz. tastes. Finally, there were just 6 stools at the 15 foot long communal table(which were all in use) so we followed others’ example and sat on kegs. Not cool.

I could totally see why this place is popular, say you live within that mixed used building, this place could be your living room. Literally could be yours because you can come watch sports on the TV they got, drink beer and talk beer snob with the bartender. It would totally save you from having to clean your own place and have a cozy spot to hangout with your friends, you could bring your home cooked dinner down and find a beer to pair with your dinner. They have all kinds of good beers on tap and in the cooler, not so many taps that your mind is racing for air and because they don’t waste space on shitty beers that is fine. Sitting on an empty pony keg might get really uncomfortable quick. If they had a think for water to clear your palate after some heavier or beers with more IBUs, and maybe some popcorn would be awesome. But if you lived like upstairs than you can just make popcorn in your own microwave.

Caps and Taps is a really cool place. Behind the bar there are lists of beer to choose from. I decided to go with the taster set and picked 4 random beers to taste. All of them were great! My favorite was called«soft dookie» and it was 10% alcohol! The bartender was super nice and offered free goldfish and nuts! I had a great experience. :)

A little tucked away under an apartment complex, but once located a great find. Came here after work for a few beers with a friend. Not super packed around 4 so easy to grab a seat. Great collection of craft beers, and reasonably priced. Chill music playing in the background as well. Only downside is parking, vast majority near by is 10min only, so you have to be careful where your at.

Tried this place out for the first time since I was out this way. It was a plus. I enjoyed the atmosphere mostly. Definitely a good place to meet your friends for a drink after work or to hang for a little while. I tried the farmhouse wheat ale. Good! I’m a light beer drinker. My girlfriend had the tiny tiles. It was super good and had a little zing. I suggest you come by to check it out!

Super chill, pretty small, three tv’s to watch games on, clean. They have beer tastings and lots of different IPA’s to choose from. I had the«Catch a Fire» and it was so good. Surprisingly light and fruity for an IPA. It had a hint of grapefruit to me. If you want to just chill in a bar but you don’t want to deal with the loud typical bar noises, Caps & Taps is a great place to go. They also played hella good music when I went. A lot of old school hip hop of Warren G, Regulators, Tupac, Fugees, Snoop, some Lil Wayne. Made me want to go clubbing. You can also order pizza from Pizza Extreme around the corner and have it brought to you from what I was told.

A girl walks into a bar and thinks, «I’m the only chick here. Sweeeeet.» **Tip from me: Ladies, stop going to wine bars. Beer bars are where it’s at!** I met a friend here after work yesterday to quasi-celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We both opted for a beer flight. At $ 10 it was a little pricier than what I’m used to(i.e. Tap 25) but they had some great offerings so it was all good. This place is tucked away so make sure you use your GPS. And the parking and drivers are quite frightening so make sure your insurance is current.

Caps and Taps is a pretty neat place to try out a few beers. I like this place because they tend to have some of the non-main stream beers. It’s tucked away on the side of the building so you have to look for it. But it’s worth the look. Inside there is a bar area, and a few picnic tables. It’s actually a nice place to just sit and chill with some friends over a pint. Who wouldn’t like that? The folks there are friendly and helpful. Will I be back? Sure, it’s a great place to go. Good job.

Three words: flavor-blasted Goldfish. Three more words: amazing beer selection. What a great find. We «needed» some bottles to take camping and Unilocal gave us Caps & Taps. Yay. Double-yay.
