Pretty good for not being near the water. Nice atmosphere. Waiter has personality. Hibachi show. Nice hidden jem in a small town

I have been to much«better» sushi/hibachi places in Middle Georgia, like Zen in Warner Robins, or Macata’s in Macon. They have nothing on Little Tokyo.

Best sushi ever. Fresh, unique styles. Sit at sushi bar and watch it made or at hibachi Dinner grill. Portions are large. Rice, chicken, shrimp, steak are all Primo! Chefs are a riot and definitely know their cooking. A+

Love this place. One of the best restaurants in town. Consistently delicious hibachi and sushi, and great service. Nothing else I can say.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at. They have the best hibachi fried rice I’ve ever had. Nice large portions and a super friendly staff. I had my usual of filet mignon and scallops and it was great. It’s almost impossible to finish off the portions.

Tip: come here during their lunch hours for the lunch prices(~$ 10). Dinner prices will run you starting at about $ 15 a person. I learned that the hard way and had to bust out the credit card. The hibachi chefs are entertaining but be warned, they have thick accents so be prepared to listen. They’ll ask you what you want to drink(pepsi products), what kind of dressing you want on your salad(thousand island, ranch, and ginger), etc. They’re also witty if you listen carefully, saying things like«watch butter fly» and then toss the butter pad in the air. About the food: delicious; if you know what to order. The filet mignon is wonderful and the steak is also good(get it cooked medium rare). The chicken can be a little chewy depending on who cooks it. The veggies are a hit or miss too depending on who cooks them because if they’re left on the grill too long, they become mushy and I like mine to have a little bit of crunch. I’ve always heard good things about the shrimp and scallops but never personally tried them. As far as sushi goes, I’ve tried a handful of them and the crunch roll is my favorite. Anything in the description that says«wrapped in seaweed,» I steer completely away from. You’ll end up with a huge glob on seaweed in your mouth and end up chewing it for about 2 minutes. Last but not least, the game. The chef will cut up pieces of shrimp and toss them at you to catch in your mouth. It’s all in good fun to see«who has the biggest mouth.» Ha!

Love it! love it! Love it! One of my favorite places to eat… ever. I don’t eat sushi, so I can’t comment personally. BFF says it is great though. I love the chicken and steak. Had friends say the tuna is awesome too. Give it a try if you like Japanese.

For years I have tried other Japanese restaurant’s, and I’m proud to say one of the best I’ve ever tasted is right here in Dublin, Ga!!! Great service, delicious food, and the drinks have gotten much better since the opening… The yummyyummy sauce here is the best I’ve ever tasted :)

The food wasn’t that good for Japanese, just bland run of the mill. The filet was tough maybe not even really filet if you ask me! The rice wasn’t that good either and I love fried rice from Japanese restaurants!

I had dinner here with a couple of coworkers while on a business trip. We ordered a good sampler of sushi and rolls to start off with along with some cold Sapporo beers. The sushi was okay quality(along the lines of what you get at good buffet sushi places). We then had the teppan dinner(like at Benihana’s). I had something with beef and shrimp and my coworkers had similar choices. The«chef» was entertaining and put on a great show(there was a family that shared our table with us). All in all the food was okay but the«show» pushed it over to a four star rating for me.

Sushi is best in Dublin. I have tried the other Japanese Sushi places and by far the sushi here is the best. I cannot speak for the Hibachi side. People are always so nice and smiling. They are very fast as well. I have called in for lunch multiple times and the sushi is fresh and ready to go. Great place.

Tepen-yaki style restaurant where chef cooks on large hot griddle at table of 8 chairs using interesting tricks like balancing a spinning egg while transferring from spatula to griddle and to other utensils. Quite interesting and entertaining. Food is very good and moderately priced. Lunch menu has choice of several meats and seafoods cooked and served with fried rice, vegetables, etc. ranging in price from 7 to 12 dollars. We will go there again.

Awesome place. Good service, friendly people, and really good sushi for being in Dublin, GA. Every time we go in the greet us and automatically seat us in the sushi seating. They joke around with us, and make it a fun experience. All in all, Little Tokyo is never dull.
