The Dublin Keypoint branch is the most incredible bank I ever worked with! The staff are wonderful, prompt with responses, so helpful. Seriously, there is no customer service like at Keypoint anywhere else. Angela Season was so incredible with helping me to get my first car loan and I was actually offered competitive rate. She made everything so easy and fast! We did everything online and through the emails. I’m in love with the Keypoint and I will continue to refer new accounts as much as I can! You guys are the Best!

Have been a credit union member since 10 years. Generally happy with other services.
Recent gripe is for Mortgage processing with Kevin Son. He doesn’t answer questions directly. Even after sending multiple mails. Disappeared from phone and mail when closing a house. I am Highly disappointed. I will not recommend mortgage service to any of my friends.

I love my credit union! I been a KPCU customer now for about 10 years, I opened my first account when I was about 19 and since then I have received outstanding service. I use to bank at the Milpitas branch when I lived in Fremont and they where amazing but then I moved over to San Ramon and Dublin is by far my favorite branch. They know me by name and we have a great client friend relationship. Everyone has a great sense of humor and has amazing customer service. They work to go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Special shout out out to Kem & Sharilyn who have always taken great care of me. Today in fact I needed to have several records pulled from back in 2010 to now and Shari took the time to pull them all for me no questions asked and didn’t even let me buy her a coffee for taking the time to do this for me. She doesn’t know how much her time and effort helped me and I wanted to commend her for her time and service. You are rock stars! Thank you so much :)

I love my credit union. The dublin branch is my home away from home. The staff is great and I aways leave laughing and extremely satisfied. Angela Season needs a raise!!!

While the people in the branch are customer-​oriented, online banking is a bad joke, laborious, and can potentially (unless you are willing to go through a tedious process every time you want to access your account online) affect your personal security/​privacy online.
I opened an account here a few months ago after getting fed up with my prior credit union putting additional barriers between me and my money. Setting up the account was easy, and everyone is always pleasant every time I go into the branch to deposit a check.
Beware, however, the «online banking,» which I was told can only be activated while in a branch. In other words, you can’t go home and do it yourself, according to the branch representative; they have to do it in a branch… which kind of defeats the purpose of «online» banking, I’d have thought. No matter, I’d consider this a minor inconvenience at worst if that were the only problem.
I have yet to receive a bank statement since I signed up for online banking. I waited a couple of weeks after I opened my account just to make sure that I wasn’t accidentally signed up for «online statements,» which are useless to me for various reasons. When I activated online banking, I made sure I explained that I needed actual paper statements to come to me every month in the mail. The only times I have gotten them were after I called the help number and asked for them. I have asked several times for my account to have any «online statements» turned off because I need the actual paper statements, but I still have no guarantees that this will happen.
The entire reason why I wanted online banking was so that I would be able to pay my Keypoint credit card with a simple balance transfer… however this is not easily accomplished. Your account information does not even acknowledge that you have a credit card with Keypoint unless you hop through several unintuitive hoops… and even then you still can’t use a simple balance transfer to pay the balance. You have to more or less re-​create your accounts information in the separate section of the website that keeps track of the credit card information. This is the definition of inefficiency.
The final straw, though, is that in order to ever use the online banking, you MUST allow Keypoint to plant cookies on your computer and you cannot remove them unless you want to «start over from the beginning» every time you want to access your account online. When you first log in, you have to go through a multi-​step «verification process.» If you ever clear cookies from your browser — which everyone does and should do for security/​privacy purposes — you have to go through the same multi-​step «verification process.» If you ever use a different web browser… you once again have to go through the same multi-​step «verification process» to establish the cookies.
To be clear, I’m not talking about having to enter your login/​password every time. You have to do much more than that. If you ever clear cookies from your broswer, you have to re-​enter your login credentials. Then you have to ask them to email you a validation code. Then you wait for an email to arrive. Once it does, you have to log-​in again with the validation code. This happens EVERY TIME you try to use online banking if, for example, your browser clears cookies every time you close the program (which is the «suggested» setting in several browsers for security and privacy purposes).
Since we are always told that one of the easiest ways we can reman secure online and avoid malware is to regularly «delete cookies,» Keypoint seems to be walking in the wrong direction by requiring cookies never to be deleted unless you want to go through the onerous «validation process» every time you want to check your balance online. Being so near to Silicon Valley, there is no excuse for this when there are easier and more secure ways that it can be done that does not involve customers putting their own online security and privacy at risk.
All in all, Keypoint would get a higher rating from me if their «online banking» did not even exist. The branch itself and the people in it easily get 5 stars… but the overall experience takes a major hit because of the horrible online banking experience.

I am so grateful for the BEST bank in the world! Ashley was such an enormous help, when I thought there was no way to fix the problem! She walked me thru the form online that I needed to fax pending the clearing of multiple transactions. But after all was said and done a duplicate transaction that put me back over $ 200 would take 10 business days to be reversed. Things just got better after speaking to her on a followup call today, I didn’t have to do a thing and she would take care of it on her end and my money would be refunded by Monday (1 business day)! What bank do you know that makes follow-​up calls! I’m so grateful for the excellent costumer service that I’ve received again and again over the years! Thank you KeyPoint for always being the best bank!
Seriously 5 minutes after I posted this I checked my bank balance… they already refunded my money! Thank you guys again at the Dublin branch!

These folks define customer service.
They take the time to get to know you, your kids names and interests.
I had to move and I’m so sad that I don’t get to see Ken, Shari, Angela, Ashley and Drew. In fact it’s been 8 months and I haven’t found a comparable bank in my new state. I’m pretty sure that I will never ever ever find another branch like this one!

Great customer service ! Came in w/​my kids 10mins before closing on a Saturday afternoon. Yup I’m one of those ppl. Lol !!! We opened an acct for the kids and myself and were very pleased by the help Ken and Angela provided.(team work) after opening an acct w/​even came home with some goodies. Definitely will recommend this CU to my friends and family.

Excellent branch. The staff are always very welcoming, attentive and happy to assist. Ashley has been helping me recently, and is very thorough and professional. They’ll even let you help dress their Christmas Tree during the holidays!!!

This branch is superb. Exceptional customer service and staff. reversal fee is done in seconds that I have tried to resolve in two weeks through 1800.

They are so helpful and make it so easy to bank at Keypoint. It feels great to be able to go to the bank and feel like they are a part of our family and our banking it is in great hands. When was the last time you heard someone say they love their financial institution? Well get ready, I love KeyPoint Credit Union.
I usually go to the Dublin branch. The staff there feels like family. Everyone that I have ever encountered there has been courteous and very personable. They go out of their way to make life easier for you. I highly highly recommend anyone thats looking for a credit union or anyone who is looking to ditch their bank, to consider KeyPoint Credit Union. You will not be disappointed.

I recommend KeyPoint to everyone with a desire to have smooth transactions, excellent customer service and a human element where you feel valued. I have done banking with KeyPoint for as long as I remember. Loans, savings, transactions and more have always gone smooth. There is no bureaucracy with them. They give you quick answers and do what they say they will do.
I most recently dealt with Jaime, Mia, and Shari at the Dublin Branch and was once again wow’d by their service and knowledge. I am going to switch more of my banking over to them because of their consistent very high level of service.
If you are looking for a place to bank where you have a relationship with the people inside and where they care about you for more than just your transactions — this is it! I am recommending them to all 27,000 members/​customers of my business because I feel that strongly about their capability and level of service.

I did a HELOC with Keypoint and they made is so easy. At first I was going to have to drive to Dublin and fill out the paperwork, but Angela set me up with an account, waived the fee, and then all my docs were uploaded, I printed them, notarized 2 and fedexed them back (at their expense) and it was all done so easily. Great customer service for sure.

Great service with great assistance. Also very helpful over the phone as well. That way you don’t have to drive to the bank everytime. Also, the online banking is very helpful and user friendly. Everyone is very friendly and understanding of what’s going on.

I remember watching the signs go up in November, but no“opening soon.” The next month, I saw people. I have my salon business down the street from them, so for my first visit I wanted to talk to a business banker (I’ve had enough trouble with Wells Fargo and Bank of America). I was told Mo wasn’t in, but I told them where I worked and that I would stop by later. Instead, he came to me! I was impressed. I got to talk to him about how I wanted to manage my business money, and he gave my some advice and suggestions. I am always impressed whenever I go in because everyone acknowledges me and they actually listen to me as a professional business owner (not many do). I like sharing info with them about marketing ideas so we can both grow. I am so grateful for the relationship we are starting :) Trust is everything in my business.
