Just found out yesterday that the Garlex in Dublin has closed. We had also been ordering from this location for years. Staff was always super friendly, both for our delivery and walk-in orders. Love their pizza! I have to say though, the location of the Dublin store was horrible. It tucked in a corner of a strip mall. If you didn’t know it was there, you’d never see it from the street. Sad to see them go. Great pizza AND great service over the years.

I’ve got to give a positive shout to these guys as I’m not sure why they get so many negative reviews. In fact, it took my wife and I eight months after we moved to Dublin to finally try Garlex because we were scared off by some of these reviews. I’ve never tried the ribs, but Garlex pizza is very tasty. They have good crust, tasty tomato sauce, and do a nice job with all the toppings we’ve ever tried. It’s a solid 4 star pizza at a reasonable price. If you’re in need of a new pizza option in Dublin, don’t hesitate to give Garlex a try.

We had take out, three different pizzas and they were all 5 star! I wished there was delivery to San Francisco.

Took one and half hours for delivery. I don’t care if its Friday evening, get more drivers, or be considerate and tell me it will take long. Then we got the cold pizza, CARDBOARD crust, tasteless, avoid. I was being lazy by not driving a pizza franki luigi, best pizza in the area. 2-1-2013

Ok these guys might not be that well known but they are my new found favorite pizza shop in dublin. I usually pick up my pizza rather then delivery and they have great specials

Awesome pizza, im a old garlex fan, and not all use the original recipe. But dublin does, I come from pleasanton to pick up because ours on valley doesnt use the right recipe. It is for delivery or pick up only, not a sit down restaurant. All in all my favorite local pizza

Pretty decent pizza place. Not a sit down and chill spot, but the food was good.

I popped in here because… well…I was hungry: p and it was close to the comic shop. This is mostly a take out place. there’s a single table and it really doesn’t look like they intend to be a dine in place. I like that they had a better selection of toppings than some of the big chains(I’m a fan of feta on pizza). The personal was a decent size, but I thought the crust was rather bland. An average pizza overall… wish LaVals was still in the area…

Wow, no review since 2008. Well, let me put a positive review to end 2010. Man, sorry about the bad reviews and bad experiences, but maybe there was a change of management since. Because the times I’ve ordered pizza from this place has truly been positive. First off, it’s just a small pizza shop with an ordering counter. So, it’s not a place to dine, fyi. I’ve talked to the workers there, and they seem down to earth to me. BTW, from what I recall in a conversation with the manager, I believe he did mention they did change owners a while back. Just remember, it’s take-out or delivery only(at this location). As far as the pizza, I personally think it’s one of the best in the area! Especially vs. commercialized corporate pizza joints! I’ve tried a lot of their specialty pizzas, but now I just prefer a simple two topping. I’m not usually a crust person either, but with their pizzas I crust and all! Their crust lifts and sometimes gets soft-n-crispy inside. Not like others, where you end up throwing it away. They served huge chicken wings(hot or bbq), and their ribs are cooked just right!!! I’ll definitely order a pizza, wings, and rib combo again!!! In comparison: I use to go to Extreme Pizza, but this place just ended up being a bit better in taste and price.

Ordered on a Monday evening after the normal dinner hour, which I thought would help with a quick delivery. They told us our 1 medium pizza would be here in 45 — 50 minutes, which seemed like a long time when we live less than 5 minutes away. Almost 90 minutes later the driver shows up with it. The pizza was fine, but not as good as I remember Garlex being in years past. We have a Mountain Mikes Pizza just as close and they have much better service and we prefer their pizza. I think we’ll stick with them from now on. Bottom line — Garlex needs to step up their game if they want to compete with the newer pizza chains in town.

‘ll never order from Garlex again! The last time I did I had them deliver. The delivery boy after looking at his tip(which was 15%) asked for even more money by saying«It’s Mother’s Day. Can you give more of a tip for Mommy! Amazing! Closed the door after that! Add to the fact that this isn’t even average food(what was I thinking ordering here!) and I know I’ll never call on them again!

Hubby and I returned from two weeks in Scotland and London last night and were expectedly famished after 10 hours in the air. With only a lemon, some cranberry juice and cream cheese in the fridge(I kid you not) and not enough energy to even make it to In ‘N Out(yes, we were that tired), we ordered a pepperoni pizza from Garlex. Normally I like to go for a nice Pesto Chicken pizza but hubby was feeling simple. Delivery took a little while but the pizza arrived hot and we had a coupon, they always have coupons. Plus I am eating it right now seeing that it’s 5am CA time but for me it’s 1pm UK time and it’s a perfectly suitable cold lunch. This time change is gonna suck…

The pizza has a lot of toppings and the pizza is pretty tasty. The only thing is, the pizza doesn’t taste that great reheated. The dough gets a little chewy. They also have a deal where you can collect pieces of the boxes and then get a free pizza eventually. I think I worked it out and it was a waste of time.
