Dublin Rainbow Preschool & Daycare

My 3 year old has been at Dublin Rainbow Preschool and Daycare since she was 18 months old. I love the care and attention they pay to each child and their respective needs. My daughter was a very shy, apprehensive child and they worked with us to ensure that they would transition her slowly until she was more comfortable in her new surroundings. I never felt she was forced to do anything for the sake of maintaining an easier schedule for the caretakers. She initially struggled with meal time but they provided several healthy options until she was more accepting of new foods. She recently started at their preschool at a nearby location and really enjoys all the lesson plans and crafts they do daily. They’re a bilingual (English/​Cantonese/​Mandarin) school and hold small celebrations for both American and Chinese holidays. My husband and I are both born and raised in America and have lost some of our cultural roots. We really appreciate that our daughter is exposed to the Chinese culture (language, meals, celebrations) despite our limitations of being able to provide that at home. Fast forward a year and a half and she’s become a very outgoing toddler. She absolutely loves going to school and will ask to go even on the weekends. Dublin Rainbow preschool has provided her with a structured yet fun environment which I feel will strongly benefit her in the future. We’re very fortunate to have such an exceptional daycare/​preschool in our area! I highly recommend Dublin Rainbow!

My son started attending Dublin Rainbow Preschool when he was 4 months old and he is now 3. They are incredibly caring and loving to all of the children and I am very grateful I came across them years ago!
Here are some things I love about them:
— a huge and safe playground
— provides homemade lunches, snacks, fruits, etc.
— reminds the kids to drink plenty of water throughout the day
— they do circle time, sing, arts & crafts, etc.
— it’s a bilingual immersion program; speaking English, Cantonese and Mandarin

My daughter is 5 and in kindergarten now. In the orientation, the school evaluation about my daughter’s word recognition and counting was more the ready for kindergarten.
