Demi Sato Permanent Makeup

Absolutely loved working with Demi. I had my eyebrows done about a month after giving birth and Demi was so nice and accommodating. My brows were very thin, almost non-​existent and she did a great job with them and now they’re perfect. She took her time with me making sure that my brows look exactly how I wanted them to but still look natural. It took a few sessions before we got the results I wanted because my skin just doesn’t take pigment very well (have this same problem with my hair) but Demi was very patient and professional. Pain during the procedure was minimal. I’m very happy with my new brows and would totally recommend her.

Demi was referred to me by a trusted family member. She has a great eye for eyebrow design and is one of the only artists skilled enough to do waterline tattoos. Yay! There was a little bit of discomfort at the beginning, but her numbing cream helped a lot. What’s neat is that she provides 1 touch up after the initial procedure so Demi makes sure it looks great. I never had any tattoos done before and I’m really enjoying not having to always apply makeup before work! I would highly recommend her and just having permanent makeup done in general.

To be honest, I was a little scared to tattoo makeup on my face (I’m sure everyone is), but felt comfortable having Demi give me a full makeover after seeing her Unilocal reviews and just fed up with putting on makeup: lipstick, eyeliner and eyebrows. She really did an amazing job and so happy that I made the decision to do it. I literally save myself so much frustration every single day and it looks better than if applied makeup on myself. I exercise intensely and it’s just feels wonderful being a little made up all the time and not have to worry about the sweat messing with my makeup.

Demi is a very sweet lady. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with her work. I am very glad to have found her and her diligence and professionalism is second to none.

Demi is the best make up artist I’ve ever met! Her job on my eyeliner, eyelashes extensions, lips and brows is awesome! Lips were done with almost zero pain and minimal fading yet look natural. Demi Is wonderful! I have gotten an eyelash perm from her twice already and she is the best! She ensures that you feel comfortable throughout the entire process and is always very nurturing. Eyelash perms typically last about 4 weeks, but mine lasted 6 weeks which was great. Not to mention she did an amazing job! She is a professional and she is your go to person for any beauty services! Besides traveling to Asia, there are very, very few makeup artists who have perfected the permanent waterline eyeliner. Demi is one of them!
I didn’t know permanent waterline eyeliner was possible, until my friend showed me hers which was done by a Plastic Surgeon in the Gangnam District in South Korea. She told me that nobody in the USA does this, and of course I was set out to prove her wrong, especially since I live in Los Angeles. I searched Koreatown, Beverly Hills, everywhere… Yes, there are many permanent makeup artists, but they ALL looked like the thick black Sharpie marker look +/​-​the tail on the end on the LASH LINE. Not waterline. Not what I am looking for.
I extended my online search to all of California and found Demi. Look at her pictures of the upper lid waterline eyeliner. YES!!! I flew to Oakland, and she did my eyebrows, waterline eyeliner (upper), and lipstick. Mind you, I generally wear none to very little makeup on a daily basis, because I don’t have time (single professionalt mom, work full time, two kids).
If you want the Sharpie marker eyeliner look, or if you want to be 80 years old in an ICU bed looking like a clown, this is not the place for you. Demi focuses on enhancing your natural look. Now I can wake up and be ready to go. Multiple people have complimented me on my new look. The makeup is so well done that some people don’t even notice the makeup but noticed I’ve done something «different» and look so much better.
As someone who pretty much never wears makeup, I would have NEVER in a million years considered putting PERMANENT makeup on my face. But you can’t go wrong with Demi.
BTW she numbs you up nice and good and will frequently stop to ask if you need more numbing medication!

I will definitely recommend Demi. She is very professional and really knows her craft. She listens and gives you suggestions and don’t just do it because. She makes sure that we are satisfied. No regrets on choosing her to do mine and my sister’s eye brows. We are both satisfied.

5 stars for customer service! And 3 stars for skills and ink. Demi was willing to give me 2 touchups after the initial procedure, which is really nice. She is also extremely patient with me. However, my brows didn’t turn out as nice as i wanted to be. Medium brown now got pinkish hue, and she made the beginning of my right eyebrow has the Sharpie effect: square and straight. I knew that would not look good on me, and i told her from the beginning, but for some reason, she still manage to do that on my right brow. My left brow was better. She drew the brows with pencil before tatooing, perfect. But for some reason, after the procedure, after 10 days, all the skin had peeled off, the brows didn’t turn out as she drew. It happened twice. It is hard to tell if she actually tattooed exactly the shaped she drew right after the procedure, because she told me that the ink is kinda runninh out of the place a little as she moved the needles. The 2 brows are not perfectly even, but that’s ok to me. I like it turns out to be light color (except for the pinkish hue) and doesn’t look like it is over done. BUT the ink is not even. I asked her if I can pay a little extra for the next touchup, she said she would charge me 50% of the initial procedure which was $ 590. Wow, almost another $ 300? I know that people has to make business, but almost $ 900 just for 3D micropigmentation is too much!
In short, i am a little above average happy with my brows, but i think it can be enhanced. I am impressed with her service quality, but not so impressed with her hand skill with needles. $ 300 more for enhancement? I would say NO. Not worth it.

Permanent makeup is something that needs to be carefully researched — chose unwisely and you are stuck with discolored and unsightly eyeliner/​eyebrows/​lips until you can correct them. You are not able to hide badly done permanent makeup since your face is the first thing that people see, unlike body tattoos (anyone see the «NO RAGRETS» tattoo?) which you can cover up.
With that being said, Demi is the ultimate artist and professional in making and correcting my eyebrows look like they should be. She is personable and sweet and really listens to you about what you want. Her 5 star reviews on Unilocal speak for itself.
My eyebrows were tattooed years ago by someone who didn’t pay attention to my natural brows and as a result, the shape was too straight and eventually faded to a dark grey.
Demi corrected my eyebrows and gave me a beautiful arch and used corrective ink underneath my brows to look more natural.
I am so happy that I found Demi — she is awesome to work with and talented, so talented that I will probably get permanent eyeliner done to complete my look.

It took a long time to decide to do #permanent #makeup, but I’m so glad I did it. It saves me about 30 mins every morning to put on my #eyebrows and #eyeliner. Highly recommend Demi! I did eyebrows, waterline and lower lashes. I don’t have any tattoos and no experience w/​permanent makeup so I didn’t know what to expect. But all the reviews are true — she takes her time explaining the procedure, expectations, aftercare and most importantly, she takes her time making sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I almost fell asleep at one point! She’s truly passionate about what she does and it really shows in the quality of her work and her interaction with you. Thank you Demi! =)

Demi did a fantastic job with my lips. She applied a beautiful red which turned to a beautiful burgundy color, the end results are better than I initially expected. I have a darker complexion, I was scared that my lips would look black with the pigment but the color and quantity she applied turned out perfect. Demi has also excellent people skills and is a great professional.

I have been putting off getting permanent eyebrows for years. I’ve seen so many friends with eyebrows that look like fake tattoos. But I fell a few years ago and have a very small scar above one eye which resulted in loss of part of an eye brow. So I finally did some research and found Demi. She is AMAZING!!! My eye brows look VERY NATURAL. I also got the waterline below my eyelashes. It makes my eyes look bigger and brighter. I’m 64 years old and I think that Demi’s permanent makeup has taken years off my looks. Now, when I’m in a hurry, I just put on some lipstick and I’m ready to go.
I used to get my eyebrows professionally waxed on a regular basis. My permanent, natural-​looking eyebrows are very easy to maintain — no more waxing or threading — I can just clean them up myself, which is a time and money saver.
Demi is very professional, caring, and truly an artist. I am so thankful that I found her. There are other permanent makeup salons much closer to my home, but the drive to San Ramon was really worth it. In addition to the first appointment, Demi offers a free follow-​up for touch-​ups. I have been searching for someone who does permanent make up. I found Demi on Unilocal and saw 5 star ratings and good reviews. I am glad I went to her. She is so accomodating and patient. She does not rush you. I would highly recommend her. Looking forward for my touch up :) she did my eyebrows, waterline and lips.

I must admit, deciding to get permanent make up on my water line (inside eyelid) is probably the scariest thing Ive done to myself. But I did what i can to minimize potential disaster and immense pain by doing research and choosing Demi! She is fantastic! So patient, professional, knowledgable, and sweet! She took the time to make sure my eyelids were completely numb and then was quick and precise. I didn’t feel a thing! One thing for contact wearing girls. Wear glasses… I had a disastrous reaction when I put on a contact right after because I forgot to bring glasses and drive. Lots of tears, but day after I was fine. Now I am thinking of what else I would like to do!!!

The procedure takes 2 visits. Demi uses a special numbing cream to really reduce the pain and made it easy. I had it done before and numbing cream is REALLY important… especially the lips. I went to few places and knew Demi was good because her own makeup looks amazing. She gave me great advice and convinced me to change how I wanted it done. She took time to draw it and to show me the different color. It turned out great and I highly recommend her！
