Lancer Catering

My now-​husband and I just got married at the Loveland Aquarium and had a WONDERFUL experience throughout the whole process! Megan was so amazing to work with from beginning to end. She always responded promptly to any request I had and was happy to give me her honest advice or answer any small, silly question I had. We did have a few bumps along the way but Lancer Catering was QUICK to fix the issue and honestly take care of us in the best way they could. The wedding day went as smoothly as it could for being raining and a huge accident on the freeway right by the aquarium. Megan made sure that our day went perfectly and her extra efforts did not go unnoticed. We had our wedding on a weekday night and the cost of renting the aquarium space was extremely reasonable. They were also very generous with availability of the space when we needed it. The food (the few bites I was able to eat of it inbetween first dances and photos and cake cutting) was really good. Their menu was extensive for all sorts of event needs. The location is so unique for an event and we loved that the aquarium stayed open only for our guests. There was a time during the evening that there was only a handful of people in the reception room because they were all out enjoying the aquarium. It was perfect for some built-​in entertainment for our guests. It is rare to find an aquarium that won’t charge you for every little add-​on. Lancer Catering was very understanding and up-​front about all costs we would be charged. Overall, we are so happy we chose the Loveland Aquarium for our wedding and so lucky we had Megan working with us to make our wedding perfectly ours.

Our daughter had her wedding reception here last Monday evening, and it turned out even better than we had imagined!
Our guests said it was by far, the BEST WEDDING RECEPTION they had ever attended.
The banquet room was STUNNING with the huge, floor-​to-​ceiling shark tank prominently featured in the front of the room. It made the PERFECT BACKDROP for the receiving line and for family photos. Our guests enjoyed eating and visiting while watching stingrays, sea turtles and sharks zip by right in front of them.
The gourmet food was artfully presented and was very high quality, and the little tomato soup shooters with mini grilled cheese sandwiches were a huge hit with both the kids AND the adults.
There is a beautiful BRIDE’S ROOM attached to the banquet hall, complete with a large vanity, huge mirrors, elegant chairs its own bathroom and shower. There’s plenty of room in there for all the bridesmaids to get ready at the same time together.
But the best part was that we had the WHOLE AQUARIUM to ourselves. Our guests were free to explore the ENTIRE AQUARIUM, free of charge, WITHOUT THE CROWDS that are usually there when the aquarium is open to the public. It was all included in the WEEKDAY wedding package deal, which I thought was a great value.
The staff were so wonderful to work with and helped us immensely with the planning, layout, and decorating.
Near the end of the evening, our daughter came to us and said «THANK YOU for giving me my DREAM WEDDING RECEPTION.»
We couldn’t have been happier with the way everything turned out! It was a magnificent, magical evening filled with love, laughter, and «happily ever after!»
