This place is amazing!!! Such a delicious menu and beyond tasty drinks! My friends and I come here whenever we want to dance salsa, cumbias, or merengue and I know it’s always gonna be a good time. Can’t wait until my next night at the Palms, I’m already craving it!

Came here last night with a group of girlfriends. Had steak and margaritas. The atmosphere was great, played a variety of music. Salsa, cumbia, and merengue. The food was delicious, and so was the margarita. I’d recommend this place for a night of good food, drinks and some dancing!

Great to come and enjoy some food, drinks and of course some music. The pepino Margaritas are delicious…

We hosted our daughters baptism/​1^st birthday on the 23^rd everything was excellent the servers were on every small detail all of our guests left very happy and satisfied, the food was excellent. We found a new place to host out gatherings. I was able to attend to our guest with out having to worry about small details. Everyone was very professional from the owner, the waitresses to the bar tender. This was by far the best gathering we’ve hosted.

Food is great. Live Entertainment on a Saturday is great. Mojitos are great. The prices are very moderate. The place is very nice and clean the times I have been there. The owners are always there. This is not a place to come for a rush meal during entertainment. I recommend to give the entire order to the waiter quickly before music begins on live entertainment nights.

This place is a dump. Horrible place. I will never recommend this to anyone. A friend of mine and I stopped by 12/​18/​2015 and made our way to a table. I asked the bartender if it was ok to sit and he said yes. We placed our order and as time went on, this place turned into a dance club. I notice a few employees talking and looking towards my table. One of the waitress comes and very rudely said this table is reserved, and placed a number 16 on our table. I felt they were a bit racist because we were not Cuban. Stay away, this is a dump.

We came here last minute for my cousin’s birthday dinner and the placed seemed to be set up for a few parties. At the time we arrived it was just us (table of 9) and another party which may have had 10 and only 1 waitress smh. The ceviche was pretty good and the michelada was tasty. The others in our party really loved their drinks as well, especially the lava colada.
I ordered the Cielo, Mar y Tierra with a side of yuca and plantains. Needless to say I was very underwhelmed. The shrimp were good but the chicken was so hard and crispy on the edges that it damn near cut my mouth and it was flavorless. The carne asada was nicely cooked but it didnt have a ton of flavor. I mean to be honest it was a pretty good dish but I dont feel it was worth the $ 17 because Ive had much better for cheaper. The service was horrendous because they didnt get another server until close to when we wanted to leave and by that time the place was crowded with parties. It took almost 15 minutes to get a reflill of chips for the ceviche and about that long to get our check after we had to ask for it 3 different times. I can understand that with limited wait staff it can get overwhelming but there is no excuse to have only 1 server on a Saturday evening smdh.
Last but not least, I checked in to Unilocal and received 10% off our order of $ 50 or more. I tried to use it and she looked confused. Our bill was originally $ 272 and after she said she applied the 10% discount our new total was $ 270 now I know you dont have to be a mathematician to know that sh** doesnt add up to 10% so I had to recalculate the total and explain to her that she was wrong. SMH again!
I doubt we will be going back again who knows, if you know me you know Im all for second chances at places that give me bad first impressions. Seemed promising especially with the dancefloor and cool music but that service was just no acceptable.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Came here for a lunch event and service was beyond terrible. I left feeling ripped off and disgusted. With about 50 people they only had 2 waiters. I asked for a refill about three times and on the last time the waiter grabbed my glass by putting his fingers inside the glass. When he brought back the same glass I noticed that there was lipstick on the cup. Our table also received our food at different times. Some people got their food while others were done. Overall, service here is really bad and the place is very run down and dirty. This place needs a lot of work.

Delicious food! I ordered the bistec de palomillo, with congri, and platanos. Absolutely loved it. Big portion and great taste. The place is also nice, and great music to listen to every night.

Been here a few times. Always the same issue, bad customer service. No one is ever in dinning area when you walk in. Takes over an hour to get your food served, even when there is less than 8 people. Waiters are very abrupt when serving and asking for order. Granted the food is good it needs to consider hiring more waiters with better attitudes.

We decided to give this place a try despite some of the low reviews. Big Mistake.
The good: the portions are hefty, you get a good bang for your buck. The steaks are good. The scallops are good. That’s where it ends. Everything else we had was bad. The service sucked. It took over an hour to place an order although it was empty. The crab legs were not fresh. They didn’t have lobster on a Friday night and the desserts were a horrible, pre-​frozen mess. I’ve never tasted flan that bad. The tiramasu was NOT tiramasu. The cheesecake was decent. The fried calamari was overcooked & the lobster dip was pretty much melted cheese & no traces of lobster.
Later it became a dance spot. The music was decent & it started to get crowded. This leads me to believe that this place is probably great for drinks & dancing as many people weren’t actually ordering food. It sucks too because we were really hoping to like this place & come back with friends. Go there for drinks and salsa not the food.

Delicious! After reading some of these reviews I was getting nervous about what our food would be like… but we were pleasantly surprised. I had a
certificate and needed to use it. Came on a Saturday at lunch the place was dead… but that worked out well. We had very attentive service and the top sirloin with mushroom sauce was delicious. The angel hair shrimp scampi pasta had an amazing butter garlic sauce and the portions are extremely generous. Were walking out stuffed with leftovers for later. Will come again and maybe come when there’s live entertainment too.

Food was bland and yes, it did taste like the cooks pulled it out of the freezer. They had karaōke the night I went. The Karaōke was too loud. I couldn’t have a smooth conversation with my father who sat across from me. The karaōke system, according to my father, was awful. Beer wasn’t cold when we ordered a glass. No thank you!

Have lunch here at least once a month ! Love it it’s so good ! Beers 2 bucks with a lunch specials only 6.99 literally walk out with good food with good beer for 10 bucks. It’s filling and very good. Services is ok.

Seriously, f*ck this place. I am convinced this is a front for money laundering. I don’t know how this place is still in business, and how waitresses and bartenders are still employed here. I live closeby so I gave this place TWO chances and they f*cked it up royally twice.
Beers aren’t cold. Glasses are dirty. All the food is pulled out off a freezer or probably an expired can, heated, and served.
GO SOMEPLACE ELSE THAT’S WORTH YOUR MONEY.

Tried using a Unilocal coupon and they told me i could not use the coupon. She said they were not going to accept it because they had not been informed by management. She said that they never heard of Unilocal.WOW!
People working here are idiots! Sounds like fake advertisement to me ! Never again will we come back!
