Went in to get my checkup and teeth cleaning. They suggested I replace old amalgam fillings due to deterioration. My teeth were cleaned by Mary Genovia who did a excellent job and was very thorough. Highly Recommended! She is a professional with a great personality and can do a deep cleaning without pain. Dr. Choi replaced my fillings. He was quick and did the work right the first time. I usually have to go back to the dentists for something they didn’t do right. Not with Dr. Choi. Word is he is no longer there. bummer!

I’m not a fan of dental offices, but Mary Genovia the dental hygienist, took great care of me explaining every step and putting my mind at ease. The cleaning was fast and painless. I will definitely come back to her to get my cleanings in the future

Originally I liked how welcome the office members are at this place, however, after I got the bill and found out they made a mistake to charge me for the service I didn’t do, I called back and they didn’t have a good attitude about it at all. Read carefully of your bills if you are going here

I have been coming to Gallatin Dental for past 13 years. I am always treated perfectly when I come here. Lori, Aracely, Tanya, Maria are always so welcoming.
Dr Choi is awesome. I believe Dr Choi has gone above and beyond for me. I have needed alot of dental work over last 13 years. I had some health issues and it truly to its toll on my teeth. I feel as if Gallatin is always gonna take care of me the best they can.
Elizabeth and Nora usually assist Dr Choi. They are amazing. Accurate. Comforting. And always concerned with my well being.
And Mary. My Hygienist. Amazing. She has been cleaning my teeth for last 13 years. She is great at her profession and fun to be around. Love her.

It’s been almost 3 years since my last review on Gallatin Dental Group. I completed my Invisalign treatment and received my retainers last week! I have nothing but great things to say about all the staff and doctors here at Gallatin Dental. Dr. Alexandrian was very tentative to my needs and always answered any questions or concerns that I had. He truly made this three journey a wonderful experience.

So growing up I hated the dentist, but after coming here as an adult its not so bad! Dr. Steve is great! After my first visit with him I thought to myself, «why the heck was I scared!» He is great… polite, professional, and cares about my comfort level. I would recommend that you go see Dr. Steve. You will never be scared or nervous again. Judy my hygienist is AWESOME. So nice and really good at making sure I’m not in pain. The staff is also great. They are willing to work with your schedule and will answer all your questions. HUGE bonus for those employed full-​time, they have 6:00 PM appointments!

This dentist office has done nothing but good things for myself and my family. We have been going here for over 5 years and have loved every second of it. Dr. Choi is my dentist and he is always helpful and great at explaining what is wrong with my teeth. He has no problems answering any question I may have. Mary is my hygienist and I love going to her. She makes sure I know the best ways to take care of my teeth. Not only is this office full of helpful people, but they are located right next to my office, so it makes going to the dentist very convenient. I sign in at the front desk, and go back to my office and they go out of their way to come get my from my desk, so I don’t miss too much work time.
I recommend this dental office to anyone. You truly will not be disappointed in the service you get here.

I’ve been a client nearly my entire life, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Mary is the best! She is the sweetest and most gentle hygienist. As much as I despise going to the dentist, she makes every experience enjoyable. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well. They’ve taken such great care of my family for years, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Gallatin Dental Group takes great care of my family. From regular check ups to orthodontist work for my daughter. I have been coming for over two years and am very pleased with the work and recommendations from Dr. Steve.
I have also noticed that Gallatin Dental is very involved in the community — from community groups to local schools. Gallatin has great customer service and provides friendly reminders for appointments.

I’ve been coming to Gallatin Dental for over 5 years, the staff is great and always courteous with me. The reception area is always clean and very welcoming. All the doctors are great with patients. I highly recommend Gallatin to anyone looking for a great Dental office.

Dr’s and assistants are excellent… have been coming here for years. Mary and Maria are awesome, but other ladies that help out in front are clueless, cant even make an appointment correctly. I always ask to speak to Mary or Maria, if they are not there I will call back another time.

My husband and I are really please with the great service that Gallatin dental group provided. I highly recommend Dr. Choi. He is such a good dentist. He’s confident, young and knows exactly what to be done. Oh! His injection technique is unique. Every time That I need to be sedated Dr. Choi gave no pain.
I can’t pass to mention Dr. Mary my favorite hygienists. Dr. Mary
make you feel comfortable and relax, no worries while she’s taking care of your teeth. We are glad to find that office.

Honestly, I would say to do your research before attending this Dentist. I got a crown and root canal procedure done here and now I’m getting fix elsewhere. My dad also got a root canal and he had to get it fixed a couple of months after with another doctor he was afraid they would ruin his teeth even further. So we have been going to to a family doctor that we trust and have been going there to get our teeth problems fixed created by these guys! BEWARE!

I’ve been coming here for years and I can’t recommend a more welcoming dental office. I’ve been to a few offices here in downey and the accommodation/​service provided here is unparalleled. They will work with you if you need a payment plan sorted out and their work is truly outstanding. I was afraid of the dentist until I came here all those years ago. So being a college student and former scary cat, the payment plans have been a huge help and the comforting service is wonderful. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Choi, he’s gentle, a wizard when it comes to teeth and a great dr.

Judy is the best Hygentist. She’s the only reason why I’m still a customer here. The Dr. Here annoys me, isn’t personable at all and I don’t trust him!

The Good: I used to enjoy the care when the office was owned by Dr. Joy.
Afshin Salamati, gave me an excellent deep cleaning, and Mary Rodriguez is
a very good (and funny) hygienist.
The Bad: I went with a swollen gum and was told that I needed a root
canal, no explanation, and in a tone which sounded more like it was a
business transaction first, by Dr. Steve (Aivazian). I got a second
opinion from another dentist (Dr. Urban, Cerritos Southcoast Dental)
who took the time to explain what I needed and why — he is now my
current dentist.
The Ugly: I don’t know why a dental office needs an office manager,
but I always felt like I was buying a used car when I dealt with
Mr. Ibarra, the office manager.
I also had issues getting collection notices from this office for $ 7.00
charges, which should have been collected when I was in the office.
On multiple occasions I received bills that were 30 day notices to pay,
regarding this, but apparently sent late, followed immediately by
the aforementioned collection notice (s).
I guess they didn’t want me as a patient.
It’s sad that it isn’t the practice it once was…

I love Dr. Steve!
He is straight to the point and doesn’t sugar coat anything. He tells you what you need to hear and encourages healthy behaviors!
He is very confident and knows what he is doing.
I love how his team is always prepared for him so when I get there, he gets right to work.
I LOVE MARY! BEST HYGIENIST EVER! She is beyond friendly and that smile is contagious!
The office ladies– love them!
They have definitely made recommendations that are pricey or maybe even not needed — but have you ever heard of saying no?
They are so understanding and didn’t make me feel like a dollar sign!
Go see DR. STEVE and MARY!

This place will try to sell you fillings you don’t really need and magically be able to fit you in for the fillings right then. Stay clear of this place. The facility is nice. Don’t be fooled.

My family and I have been coming here for a couple of years. Everyone is very friendly. Took one star off because I always wait 40+ minutes to be seen.

I had billing issues after I had paid all my fees. I refused to pay and will never go back to this place.
