Ofir Orthodontics

So happy I made the right decision by choosing Dr. Ofir for my Invisalign. Great deal, no wait ever & an amazing staff! My son loves playing the video games while he waits.
I also needed a same day emergency appointment and I got one within the hour. Will definitely be bringing my son here when it’s his turn to get braces!

I went to today for my eval… I did not wait at all. service was excellent. The girl in front office last time Esquibel. was really nice… consultation with Dr Ofir was pretty fats but explain my problem well and then i had to speak with Melissa regarding insurance coverage ect… she explain to me in detail and was very helpful with any questions I
the way the office was nice and clean… important thing to me. Great job guys.

If i could give this place ten stars i would. My older sons went to Dr. Ofir many years ago and it was money well spent. Not only is the staff amazing, but the doctor is very professional and very open about all the options available. They all have the patient’s interest in mind. So years later when my youngest needed braces, i didn’t think twice about going back to Dr. Ofir. The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can tell he treats his staff with respect and they are all very appreciated. I’ve noticed that someone had complained about the parking and the time. This is a very busy practice and sometimes the appointment may take longer than usual. That’s only because Dr. Ofir does not rush through his appointments. He always makes sure to give the parents updates and ensures that at the end of your visit, you are satisfied. The parking can be an issue but that’s nothing new in Downey or anywhere in LA for that matter. There is parking available in the back as well in the front. Personally i can’t say anything negative about this place. Friendly and experienced staff that will make you feel like family by the time your treatment is completed. I would (and have) recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Super friendly! I’ve only had one emergency due to my actions but they were able to accommodate me right away. The office is nice and CLEAN. Plus they always have movies on and have video games set up for the younger clients, its a plus all around. Did I mention the monthly give-​a-​ways! The best thing for me was the in-​house credit.

I came to this Orthodontist office about 5 years ago and they are the best I have seen. Dr. Offir is a perfectionist and does a great job on what he does. The staff is nice and friendly. I recommend this Orthodontist Office to anyone, kids and adults.

I been going to Dr. Ofir for two years. When I fist arrive the staff help me right away and explain everything that was gonna happen. I met Dr. Ofir and I felt great and safe for the first time I was not nervous to see a dentist, Dr. Ofir explain to me about my smile and what needs to get done. I went in the next week and I got my braces on. For the past months I started to notice my teeth getting straight and I was smiling a lot. I always had issues smiling because I did not have perfect teeth. After a year i been smiling and I haven’t stop smiling myself a stem when up and I look very happy I now smile in all my pictures. Every visit that I had as been amazing. Dr. Ofir is the best I have worked with other orthodontic dentist that didnt care about their patient or their staff but none are like Dr. Ofir and this staff. I recommend any one that wants braces to visit Dr. Ofir his clean, professional and he cares about your smile! I am glad that I found Dr,. Ofir and his staff! You wont be disappointed! Thank you Dr. Ofir for bringing out my smile.

Love the environment ! Love the staff especially Melissa, she explained everything I needed to know. My son went to Western Dental before and they do not compare to Ofir orthodontic! I’m happy I found them and so will you!

There were so many great Unilocal reviews for this orthodontist and I was hoping to have a great consultation for my daughter but it wasn’t. First of all, there is hardly any parking and we had to park against a wall behind some cars so there was a possibility that you have to get up and move your car during your visit. The office staff was friendly but the wait time was long. The doctor still hadn’t seen my daughter one hour after her appointment time so we had to leave. I’ve been to other ortho consults and didn’t have to wait so long.

My brother first went to Dr. Offir a few years back when he was still in his old office and finished off at his new office. After he was done with his treatment, I just had to go in for my consultation since Dr. Offir did a great job and my brothers smile was wonderful!
They discussed my options with me and I went with the traditional metal brackets because they were the most suitable for my intense over bite. Overall my treatment lasted almost 2 years and Dr Offir and his staff made sure the process was an amiable one.
I really enjoyed his new office, it is so nice in there and even though there were always many patients waiting, the wait was never really too long, I found that the best time to go was mornings, beating all the after school appointments.
Dr Offir was always so nice and friendly asking how everything was coming along and if there was anything else I wanted to fix on my smile. He wanted to make sure it was exactly the way I wanted it, and it was! Short of two years, I got them removed and I was extremely pleased with my results. That same day I got my retainers and even after that I still had appointments to make sure everything was going great with my new smile.
I would definitely reccomend Dr Offir to my friends and family. I mostly liked the feeling of friendliness or being like family… Might of been because I was there so often, but it was a great experience for me and I’m glad I decided to go with him.

There is nothing like encountering a Doctor who genuinely shows he cares from the moment you meet him. HIs personality wins you over right off the back! My son began his Invisalign treatment with him almost a year ago. We both couldn’t be happier with the results thus far.
I truly believe in the power of a referral. We couldn’t be grateful enough to our dear friend whom recommended Dr. Ofir. All of the great things she had to say about him and his office staff were sufficient enough to not spend extra time looking elsewhere and trust that he would be the Doctor to change my son’s smile for life! She couldn’t have been more on target with the care & service this office offers!
If you are looking for super quality Orthodontic care that has a Doctor who is a perfectionist and comes with really friendly staff members who make you feel at home, build friendships with you & do not make you wait for your name to be called I highly suggest you visit Ofir Orthodontics! I gladly recommend Dr. Ofir’s office he is truly the best. My daughter is currently a patient of his and will be finishing her treatment soon. I had braces in the past with another Orthodontist and my experience was not good. There for when it came to my child I wanted a better experience for her so I did my homework this time. I read his reviews on Unilocal and went for a consultation, I really liked the fact that he took his time and answered all my questions. So now that my daughter is almost done guess what? Its my turn but I will be doing Invisalign and with a much better Orthodontist! His staff is great they are all super nice and they know us by name they make you feel so welcomed. Well, it’s all over. I’ve had my braces off for about 5 months now, and after it’s all said and done, I really enjoyed my experience with Dr Ofir and his staff.
He was constantly making the most minute adjustments to get my choppers «just right», and he did it quickly and efficiently. You don’t spend a unruly amount of time in his office, most of the time.
His new office has TVs, and a much nicer, cleaner appeal over all. The only thing I don’t like as much is that the patient chairs are one right next to the other. You still have about 5 feet of space between you, but I still prefer the more private rooms.
The entire process lasted around 2 and a half years; I attribute this to a really bad set of choppers, and a doctor who wanted to get me something I would be happy with. And he did.
I will gladly offer my highest recommendation to Dr Ofir and his staff.
PS: Since leaving they now do SMS reminders the day before your appointment. Love it!

I’m STILL going to Dr. Ofir for regular check ups. This guy cares so much about his work that It’s been over a year that I’ve had them off and he still has me come by every few months to ensure that they’re right. I whole-​heartedly stand behind my recommendation for this doctor and his staff.

I been a patient of Dr. Ofir’s office for over 2 years now and my daughter for over 9 months, and i have to say we love this place! I recently got my braces off and i was sad at the thought of not visiting as regularly as i did when i had them on. But then I remembered that my daughter is still under treatment. Yay! Dr. Ofir is an awesome Orthodontist, he really cares about giving you the best treatment available. I didn’t have the easiest of treatments to be done but with his help, I got through it without any issues and now I have a beautiful smile to show for it! Dr. Ofir and his staff are the best, they really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable while you’re receiving treatment. I’ve gotten to know the staff really well and they’ve gotten to know me too! Best part, i’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes! On occasion his office does get busy, but it’s so rare that when it happens you don’t even realize it. I highly recommend Dr. Ofir’s office to those of you hesitating to get braces. Our family loves them and so will you!

My search is over and so should be yours! He is the best out of all that I interviewed. He knows what he is talking about! He is amazing with my «gager boy» and gentle yet firm with my daughter. They just love him. Going to their monthly visits is like going to visit a friend, with all the personal attention that he gives them, he makes them feel very comfortable. His energy and patience with kids is admirable! You Rock Doc.
