I love they veggie bagels with smoke salmon. I’m so happy the opening up a location in Douglasville

Went to Thumb’s Up for breakfast and it was ok. Nothing spectacular, but, ok. The biscuits seemed to be homemade and were good. I wouldn’t write home about the grits and everything else was pretty much like you’d get at any breakfast place(IHOP or Cracker Barrel). I wasn’t fond of the a la carte ordering style as it ends up being pricier than it seems when everything is added separately or is an upcharge. It wasn’t «knock my socks off» wow, but it also wasn’t awful.

Wow, breakfast was awesome! I had the Yukon omelette and the double dipped French toast, both were amazing. Needless to say, I am stuffed and need a nap!

Went to this location for the first time. I wasn’t overly impressed like i was with the other locations. Food was average. My breakfast companion described his meal as «Ive had better». Our entire ticket came to $ 20 and that was alot of food. Again, it was average.

Its a shame this place isn’t on a main road. Its kind of hard to notice and is mostly getting word of mouth awareness. I’ve only eaten there a few times but I had an incredible BBQ sandwich and the best sweet potato fries ever. I still stop by just for the fries! The place is clean the staff is friendly. You’ll love the 60’s theme. They are located next to a small college so they can get packed at times. My wife like to go for breakfast. GOOODSTUFFF!

Best Fried Catfish ever. If you are looking or well seasoned yet lightly fried fish options, Thumbs Up Diner is the place. On each visit, I’ve gotten the same thing be it this location or the downtown location and it remains consistent and rather satisfying. I only hope for the day they introduce gluten free pancake options :)

Yum yum yum. Today I had the chicken tenders and waffles with a side of eggs. They do something very light to the tenders almost seafood cornmeal like in texture. Yummy Coffee is ok. Service was great. Mom had the skillet heap and she said it was delicious. We really enjoyed this place.

This place not only has great food and great prices, it is adorable too! It is in a seemingly deserted strip mall, but don’t let the location fool you. We waited about 20 minutes for a table for two on a Sunday morning and it was entirely worth it. I had the Greek Omelet, which was delicious, and I think my bill was less than $ 8. Thumbs Up has a neighborhood greasy-spoon atmosphere. The servers wear their regular clothes, but you can tell who they are by how fast they’re moving. Great little place!

Very disappointed in the customer service at this place. Called to place a to-go order, was placed on hold for a while, so I hung up and tried to call back two more times without an answer. They have lost my business.

Super Awesome Customer service. Banana nut pancakes are Hugh! Someone who shall remain nameless… ordered 2 with 2 veggie patties could only eat 1. The Smoked Turkey Ruben with sweet potato fries are yummie!

Food is good. Service is horrible. I have been to this restaurant four times and I will not go back. Waiters ignore you or forget your order. This is the worse service I have ever had. They seriously need someone in charge and some training.

Love the food! Servers are typically very personable and friendly! Diner feel with great music and is very clean. It’s one of the only restaurants my family and I will dine at in Douglasville. We typically venture into Atlanta to eat out. They close at 2:30p. Guess that means they take their last customers before closing time and that should be specified on the door. Thought I was going to treat my kids to a back to school lunch before 1st day of school and after being told we could come in by a server, we were turned away after parking our car. We did pull up at 2:24p which is why I sent my daughter in to inquire before we parked.

Traveling through Atlanta and found this place for breakfast. It was a good choice. I’m picky about breakfast as it is my favorite meal. We had omlettes and they were very good. Decent prices and good service. Have to rave about the sliced tomatoes. So simple but they were ripe and red. Recommended.

Well the service was pretty good. My family enjoyed their food. The waitress was very attentive and accomendating. The wait was not very long considering how busy it was in the resturant. The main problem, which was a big one is that my food was served to me on a dirty plate!!! Just nasty. To their credit, if any credit can be given for this atrocity, the food was remade and they offered an apology. They also did not charge me for my meal which made things somewhat better. So instead of two stars I give them three.

I checked out this location after a quick Sunday workout. First of all, they are in the old strip mall that used to house Cub Foods and Walmart(if you’ve lived in the area long enough you’ll know). It is very hard to see from the street and I’m sure one will wonder how do people know this place is even over here? I nearly caused an accident when I finally realized it was in this plaza, lol Well, people definitely know that this location is here. It was PACKED and luckily I was by myself so I was able to sit at the bar for my breakfast. I had the catfish and grits breakfast. This comes with eggs and a wonderful whole grain biscuit. I could not get enough of this biscuit. I purposely saved half of the biscuit(and the yummy berry jelly) to take home. For the price you pay for that particular dish, it is more than your money’s worth. That was enough food to feed two people. The only thing that I disliked about this catfish was that it was terribly thin… almost like it wasn’t catfish… hmmm THISLOCATIONTAKESCARDSFORPAYMENT! YIPPEEE!!! I will be back because this location is closer than the others to my home.

I’ve had a couple of really nice breakfasts here so I think it’s time to write a review. The food and service are both excellent. The breakfast portions are nice and large. The coffee is good, not great, but better than ihop for sure. My only complaint is that it is a very small space. Wait times on weekend mornings are long. I would not recommend taking a group of more than four. But, if you want a nice alternative to ihop or cracker barrel, this is a great spot.

This was my first visit to a Thumbs Up Diner establishment and I was very impressed with the service and the feel of the place. Great music!!! I must say that BJ was extremely nice & very patient with my son and I(very indecisive people-lol). He went over the specials and a great portion of the menu with us. He also kept my son’s cup full of lemonade(which caused him to leave a plate of food untouched, but that’s okay –lol). Big ups to BJ. Big Question: Was the food good??? My son and I both ordered the Pancake Breakfast which came with 2 large buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs prepared the way you want them, 1 meat of ur choice and a bowl of grits for $ 9.99(not bad). To be honest, the food was not that good, it’s understood that no one make my eggs or grits the way I make them, but when going out for breakfast I normally can tweak them to my pleasing, but this food was untweakable(yes, I made up a word –lol). The eggs were bland & scrambled hard; the huge pancakes were just not to my liking at all… buckwheat pancakes were offered, maybe I should have tried those, oh well. Three stars for the service, music, an overall ambiance(they were jammin). We may return one day to check out the dinner menu, but no time soon.
