Steve has been in the entertainment industry for years.

Growing up, Steve had an interest in bowling that persisted into adulthood. Naturally, Steve chose to work in the bowling and entertainment complex industry.

Steve enjoys being able to serve the public at ThunderZone Entertainment Center where fun, variety, and great facilities is the driving force of the business.

Well, if you want to have fun, this is not the place to do it. My group came here to bowl and we were told by management that we were too loud. My question is who the hell bowls in silence? Apparently there were some older people who were apart of a league who thought my group was too loud. My group was composed of teens and parents, of course we made noise. Management did compromise with us, they told us they would play better music if we quieted down some. All in all, we probably won’t come back here.

I took my son for his birthday to play arcade games and laser tag with 6 other people. Laser tag was great. The kids loved it. The arcade games were very expensive and we lost money on a couple of games that 2 boys that worked there couldn’t or wouldn’t refund back to our game cards. Could be better if they had a few more experienced workers. Most were standing on their cell phones and laughing out loud. Went on Nov 20 around 6pm.

I was there on the day I checked in which was Saturday the 7th. unfortunately I will not be returning to your establishment due to the service received. Thank you for reading and I hope that your service improves because a place like this is needed in Douglasville. Great idea… need employees who are trained in providing customer service… as you can see by the other reviews you lack in this area.

Much needed entertainment in Douglasville, customer service near the bowling alley is a bit slow. The food is decent the staff is friendly, the ambience is inviting. Definitely a go to hangout spot.

Thunder Zone is a new attraction that is desperately needed in Douglasville. The only other bowling alley is on the far side of town and not that great anyways.
I’ve been twice, once when it was very busy and once when it was empty. Both times the staff was attentive and pleasant.
The place is large and clean so you never feel claustrophobic (except in the arcade which is small). Games and food/​drink are a little spendy but it’s worth it to have decent lanes in town.

This is the place to be if you live or work in Douglasville. It’s a great, family friendly funcenter with activiies for kids of most ages. I would say 4 and up. There’s the arcades, bowling and bumper cards and the food is outstanding CHEF FOX is a great addition to the place! If you like a good drink the bar area isn’t bad either. Will definitely return soon.

Went here for a 6 year old birthday party and we (all of the parents) had just as much fun as the kids. The party started on time, the caterer came in to check on food which was elegantly displayed and tasted great along with the drinks (both soda and adult beverages) served perfectly cold. Will surely return for a family game night.

Sorry but I gotta knock off 3 stars. I recently went bowling with my son and it was awful. The lane they gave us (lane6) kept telling us we fouled meaning we went pass the line. After telling some idiot who works there the problem I had to find a manager, I call her an idiot because she told me «just try not to cross the little line «lol I was lost for words. The manager had us wait almost 15 min trying to add our score to a new lane. I told that idiot we only bowled 3 frames and 2 of those had fouls on them the score isn’t going to be right, he then suggested we start over on the new lane. Lol I laughed and walked off. I needed a drink after dealing with two idiots within 20 min of each other. I ordered a shot of patron and my son got a coke and a shrimp cocktail, drinks no problem. We waited almost an hour for the RAW SHRIMP, and when it did come they shorted us 2 of the 6, lol they gave us a free order but that took almost 30 mins, how long does it take to put raw shrimp on a plate?

The bowling is good and reasonably priced and you can’t go wrong with practically new rental shoes. However, I don’t recommend eating here based on our experience tonight. We arrived around 6, order an appetizer around 6:15 at the bowling lanes, planning to order some entrees when our appetizer arrived. At 6:50 we had to flag down another waitress to find our waitress and 7 our appetizer arrived and at 7:10 we were finished bowling. Apparently, the printer did not print off our order, so the kitchen never started making it. Now I can understand technical problems, but what I don’t understand is how our waitress (in a mostly empty bowling area) did not notice that she had not gotten our appetizer to us. As I said we had to flag down another waitress to find her for us. All we ordered was chips with chili con queso. Our waitress even told us it usually only takes 10 minutes, so why didn’t she notice. Which is pretty much what I told the manager when we talked with him. He did take a percentage off, but only after arguing with me that it wasn’t anyone’s fault. Again I know technical difficulties happen, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to notice that your only table hasn’t got their appetizer. And the 20% the manager took off after us waiting 45 minutes for a 10 minute order was not sufficient in my opinion. Then to add insult to injury the food was terrible. About half of the chips tasted stale, the queso was straight out of a can and bland as all get out. The chili was separate from the queso and really, really sweet almost like a dessert. Nasty! We will go back for the bowling and probably to try out the arcade which we didn’t this time because we were starving and had to go elsewhere for food, but I don’t plan on eating here again anytime soon. Hopefully next time we will have a better experience.

I just came from there and had a lot of fun. Until now the only thing we had like this was in Fairburn but Thunderzone knocks the Fairburn bowling alley out of the water. They have brand new arcade equipment, video games, bumper cars, a two-​tier laser tag area! They also have a regular bowling alley and a VIP section plus a nice looking restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall It looks like a great place for a date night, a hangout spot or a place to take the kids.
I have no complaints, and have lived in Douglasville for over 20 years. This might the most fun place we have and I hope it gets plenty of business.
