So traveling south and stopping in Dickson Tn. We wanted something more than burgers and fries from the many fast food establishments. I must say that we were both glad that we chose O’Charley’s(next to the Holiday inn Express). Our waitress was fantastic, she was patient and thoughtful and above all else she was a damn fine waitress. I ordered the Tuscan Chicken and the Mrs had the California chicken salad along with the house margarita. Bread was served straight from the oven and the meal was delicious. We cleaned our plates, our mothers would be proud. If your ever in Dickson stop by O, Charley’s you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. Wanted something more than fast food or a sandwich. This as a good choice. Lots of american options. Food was good. Service was good. My steak came out promptly and was cooked well. Crab cakes are really good too.

After a week of boating on a nearby water and eating unhealthy, we stayed in the Holiday Inn Express next door and wanted some real food. My husband ordered the Cobb salad and it had several pieces of brown iceburg lettuce and it was obvious that the salad had been sitting around for a while in a cooler or refrigerator. I ordered a 6 oz blackened Salmon dinner with a house salad and bacon smashed potatoes. Definitely order the dressing on the side for your salad. The salmon was cooked to order(well done), but still tasted more fishy that I’d have liked. But, I’m picky about well done. When I say well done, I mean jerky. Potatoes were ok, kind of luke warm, so I think our meals may have sat around for a bit before they arrived to us. This is a convenient restaurant to our hotel, but if I was a local, I doubt I would visit it very often. Bartender was friendly and the hostesses greeting our entry were very nice and welcoming.

This was a good meal for weary travelers. Bee each had a big salad… Paul, a Cobb and me, a chicken strawberry pecan. The greens were plentiful and fresh… and lots of good stuff on top. We split a piece of lemon pie and drank some good coffee… good value for the dollar and very nice service as well…

I love O’Charleys, the rolls, duh, the soups, the salads. If you want more season to your steaks ask or get it a bit darker then you usually take it. Loved the staff and love the food. Great place for families!!!

The food is good, the waitress very friendly! But service was sloooooowwwww! I repeatedly ask for bread and never received it. I was here overnight on a business trip and this was convenient to the hotel. I arrived at 5:30 pm and finally made it out by 7:20 pm. I was alone and ordered a soft drink, salad and entrée.

Good food, good portions. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Regular steaks don’t have much flavor so if you like a seasoned steak get it blackened.

Pleasant staff makes conversation. Food is good. A bit too much dressing on my salad but that’s my fault for not ordering it on the side. Vegetarians beware: there’s no entrée for us! You have to special order. Not even a veggie burger, which says the menu update needs to continue. Did not have my husband’s first beer choice. Ran out of his second choice. Loved the spice of my salad. Really added a delicious extra.

I have been to this particular O’ Charley’s location many, many times throughout the years. O’ Charley’s has went through a renovation both cosmetically and with their food in the last six months. The food and service has improved by leaps and bounds since the renovation. During my most recent visit I ordered the Cowboy Sirloin with mashed potatoes, and soup. It all starts however, with O’ Charley’s delicious yeast dinner rolls which I love to dip in my soup. The soup, a new offering, was«Creamy Tomato Basil» which was extremely delicious and full of flavor, I would love to get this again, the potato soup is also outstanding. My Cowbow Sirloin was overcooked(I have come to accept this at chain restaurants such as this however), it had a nice flavor, slightly spicy, which I really enjoyed; overall, disregarding the overcooked factor, the steak was average. My side was the mashed potatoes with bacon, cheese and onion straws. Nothing really special here, despite the toppings, bland in all honesty. For desert I ordered a slice of pie from their new pie selection. I ordered the«French Silk Pie», it was absolutely deliciousness! A light, airy, chocolate treat! Overall this is an average causal dining chain restaurant. Great for groups. Very conveniently located straight off the interstate. My server during my last visit(along with a couple of other times), Maurice, is by far one of the best waiters I have ever had. I will definitely ask for him next time I dine in the O’ Charley’s of Dickson.

Not bad for a chain restaurant. Food and prices were good. Service was very good. Worth stopping to eat, especially in such a one horse town like Dickson. Not much else there worth eating.

Tony and I decided to head for Memphis, TN for the evening… just jump in the car and go with no plans, hell not even a change of clothing… Thank goodness we keep an emergency bag in the car with some clean items and extra toothbrushes, and necessaries!!! I try to stay prepared. you never know!!! We decided to stop in Dickson, TN off I-40 on the way from Nashville to Memphis to grab some lunch and we stopped at O’Charley’s right off the exit. We have eaten at a few before and enjoy their menu choices. so it was a simple decision! Tony and I was seated immediately and greeted by our Waitress within seconds. I ordered my Unsweetened tea with lemon and lime(zero points on WW360 plan) and Tony ordered a Budweiser 12oz bottle(5 points for anyone counting)…I grabbed my trusty android phone and started searching the menu for my choices. I have the Weight Watchers 360 Points Calculator App downloaded so it helps me peruse the menu for my educated choices. I opted to order the«Santa Fe Tilapia» with a pico salsa, rice and broccoli. This is a 10 point dish for anyone counting the Points with WW360. AND it is AWESOMELYGOOD… I loved the Pico salsa which is Zero points and ordered some extra. it was really good on the grilled fish filets. I tried not to eat all my rice since it was the highest point structure on the dish, and ate all the steamed broccoli. one because it was seasoned perfectly and tasted well but two, because it was so healthy. I had to pass on the rolls but Tony enjoyed them. He ordered the Deep Fried Fish and Shrimp with the Cheesy Broccoli Casserole with Tartar sauce. I would have had to pass on his dish. It looked great!!! But it was like a 32 point dish(the allotted amount for the entire day)…so NOT something I could eat., But he loved it. He also chose to eat my Mini Caramel Pie with Whipped cream and chocolate chips and nut topping… they gave it to me FREE for my birthday month… but I couldn’t even imagine the points for that one… so he ate it for me!!! I couldn’t bare to watch!!! So, I played a game on my Android… lol !!! Our waitress was very nice. She offered me a unsweetened tea for the road. The Tip, food and taxes was well under $ 30.so it was a great meal… and I stayed within my Point allotment for lunch!!!

I am a local here in Dickson, and this particular O’Charley’s location is far and away my favorite ‘chain’ restaurant in town. I’m not sure why the star rating is so low here on Unilocal,I have eaten here dozens of times over the years and each time the experience is consistently good. If everyone who ate here took the time to review the restaurant I promise this rating would go way up. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere, although like any place with a bar it can get loud at times. Not a problem for us, but maybe worth mentioning. Even with the bar, the dining room is separated well enough for dining with the kids. Every time my wife and I come here we are compelled to tip our server very well, service is consistently fast and great. There are a few servers in particular that do an exceptional job, but I can’t remember ever having poor service here. I get the feeling that the place is managed very efficiently and staff are well trained. As for the food, it is of course the same fare served at any O’Charley’s restaurant, but it is always well prepared and delicious. Steaks are cooked to order very well, seafood is delicious, everything is always great. Price is on par with what you would expect at a decent casual restaurant. In my opinion, if you are close to the interstate in Dickson, TN and looking for a reliably great casual dining experience, this is the place to go.

Waitress was friendly and on task. We were there with the happy hour crowd(no issues with the noise level). I got pecan chicken salad and it was wonderful. I’d stop by this location again if I was on this part of I interstate 40.

You know the place doesn’t rate too well when you have a waitress that doesn’t know how to serve food… horrible service. Appetizers came out before the drinks(water and tea) and even worse, 2−½ hours for dinner! Guests were sitting at other tables and ate and left yet our group did’t get served until after all other tables. They blamed it on a large party coming in and causing a back up, but they arrived AFTER us. Just a poor place to expect the word service to be part of the dining experience.
