This place used to be my «go to spot» for mani/pedi treatments. Hadn’t been there in a while, and will NOTGOBACK! They seem to have all new people working there, and frighteningly incompetent people, at that. TWO techs who cannot polish fingernails. BOTH of them did such a terrible job, it looked like a 6 year old had polished my nails. They actually blamed the nail polish! AND one of them spilled polish on my brand new shoes and didn’t even say anything. I noticed it when I was putting on my shoes to RUN out of there! Going to try the nail salon across Grand — near Subway. I hear the techs from Diamond Nails are now working there.

Winner of the Scary Nail Salon Award! In the 40 – 60 minutes I was there: #1 Arguing and yelling between the owner and a customer who she forgot about in the waxing area. The customer actually said to the owner, «get your hands off of me or I’m going to hit you.» #2 Arguing and fighting between the owner and the other techs, fighting over customers. #3 Talking smack in Vietnamese. I always go undercover to hear what they really want to say. #4 The worst french mani & pedi I’ve ever had in my life. While my nails were being painted, I noticed that the middle finger was smeared. I asked the nail tech to fix it so she adds three or four coats of clear on top of the smear. All it does is bubbles up the polish as it dries. Ugly nails, everything was chipped two days later.

Ugh why do I keep coming here!!! Back in the day about 3 – 4 years ago this was my go to spot! Now I always get the worst service! I ended up here because I was being thirsty and couldn’t wait till Monday to get my nails done because I started my day super late on a Sunday. This was the only shop opened so I went in. Immediately I regretted it. First I got this girl that was clearly in training. So this other lady was hovering over her telling her what to do. I got nervous. Then they had the nerve to say«oh you come in so late»! Ummm you told me when I called at 4:53pm you close at 6 and to come in. I got there by 5:05. Then they made the novice stop so another more experienced lady could do my full set. While she’s doing my set she’s telling the novice«see how much work this is. Not easy huh? So much work and no money! That’s why we don’t like doing this. Pedicures soooo much more money!» All this in English!!! If you want to talk mess do it in your native tongue please. All in all my nails are very mediocrely done. I regret paying $ 25(including tip) for my nails. On the upside I love the color so I’ll stick with it till it’s time to get a fill and go back to either Red Persimmon or Diamond Nail Lane.

I LOVE my pretty gel nails! Last such a long time, they have a large variety of styles and color to select from, and friendly staff, I come here here every 3 weeks ;)

This place should be reported to the BBB. They pressure and cajole customers into getting products and treatments. They use imported machines that likely do not adhere to federal consumer standards. The ladies talk to each other in vietnamese throughout. They mislead with advertisements. They use old brochures as a technicality trick. Just avoid this place.

I go there weekly to see Brenda for wax and do nails monthly with new gel polish that really stays put all month. I like the salon, the quality and the ladies. Brenda is the owner and is funny and somewhat of a prrfectionalist with waxing eyebrows. The pricing is cheap and I just enjoy every minute of it.

imagine the stereotype of vietnamese nail salons by alejandra johnson(female comedian who did a bit called nail salon — youtube it)… ‘youre so pretty’ ‘gel nail is good for you’ ‘you have boyfriend?’ ‘it better if you get this’ and speaking vietnamese to each other as I look confused… i went to get a pedicure since it’s next door to a place I got my hair done… when you enter the place; it has a bunch of spa chairs for pedicures and mani tables… the water is initially super hot and the foot spa part felt like it was coming apart but it got better after awhile. the back massager was a plus. they had me pick a nail color and their colors were all messy. i picked OPI bc its a good brand… but they didnt put a top coat or base coat on it… came out nice but i expected so much more… the lady who did my nails was nice… she actually was quiet when all the other ladies were gossiping in vietnamese. that was actually nice. the cost for a spa pedi with scraping of my feet(+$ 5) was $ 19 another lady kept trying to get me to get gel nails and how pretty it would look… i just left bc i know gel nails are actually not good for you. overall; eh, it was ok.
