Good place for good selection in downtown des plaines

Decent selection of imported meats, cheeses, teas, candies/cookies, drinks and alcohol. Among the selections of alcohol were Polish, Czech and Croatian beers. Most of the vodka came from Poland and Russia. Their wines are from all over, such as Russia, Bulgaria and Serbia. They also carried a good amount of domestic alcohols and stronger liquor from Mexico. The cashier mainly kept to herself, but was quite friendly when I checked out. We made small conversation and she taught me how to say«thank you» in Bulgarian. It is nice to find these locally owned import shops with great prices. I walked out with a large bottle of Bulgarian No Man’s Land wine, two boxes of Bulgarian tea and a tin of Greek stuffed grape leaves for $ 14.
