Established in 1950.

The Business was opened around 1950. It was called J.C. Lock Service. Around 1987, Robert Bentel, Purchased the locksmith business and began calling it Bentel’s J C Lock Service. In 2012, William DeBlase purchased the locksmith business and renamed it DeBlase’s JC Lock Service, Inc. Same great service just a new name and owner.

I became a Locksmith, in 2002. I worked for a large locksmith company in Chicago for 10 years, cutting keys and changing locks. I managed and ran that company for 6 of those 10 years. That locksmith company was doing about 1.5 million dollars in gross sales. In 2012, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase JC Lock Service, located in Melrose Park. With my years of experience I know that I can grow the business and give the customers good quality service. Keys that work and Locks that fit their needs.
