Sea & Sand Rv Park

I had to give one star– not for the RV campground itself because I’m told IT’S WONDERFUL. Instead, the single star is due to the horrible reservations scams they allow and encourage. When I tried to make an online reservation, I was unable to find any openings for the rest of this year. When I called to ask about next year I was told that I can call and leave a message at 12:01 AM one year in advance and request the space (s) I needed. I was told that people had figured out that waiting to call during business hours that day would find that everything had been booked.
So, I set my alarm and called at 12:01 AM and left a message requesting spaces for our group, one year in advance. I called back in the morning and left another message asking if my reservation request had been received. When they returned my call, I was told my request was received but was unable to be booked because almost every one of the 5 sites I had requested was reserved through September of 2017. I asked how that was possible, as I was told that reservations could only be made one year in advance. Somehow, long-​time customers are able to re-​book their spaces for the next available opening, which may be more than a year in advance, despite what their alleged policy states.
When asked how it was possible that most spaces were booked well over 15 months in advance I was told that simply didn’t understand how it works. Well that may be true, but the system in place favors pre-​existing patrons and somehow allows them to set up recurring, semi-​permanent residency for a lifetime.
The owners need to replace that scammable system with one similar to State Parks, where 9 months is the furthest out and done either online or by phone.
I’m giving up on this horribly mismanaged park.

We were traveling through the area and stopped there just before dark and found they were packed! It was June of 2015. A super nice lady went out of her way and found a space for us. It was a little tuff getting into it but it was beautiful spot with an ocean view. It had plenty of shade and a picnic table. We liked it so much we stayed two nights. This is a very clean park and restrooms.

I’ve always wondered if there was any RV Resort that could beat Fidalgo Bay and this resort has earned the honor. From the moment we arrived and through our five day stay, we absolutely loved this RV resort. We have a 38′ foot coach that we parked in the front row where the view, front space, and sunset were all great. The beach is just steps away and if you follow the tide chart, you’ll find a lot of agates. We collected nearly a jar full.
We did, however, need to monitor our wattage as this spot only offers 30 amp. But seriously, isn’t this called camping? Besides the awesome view and access to the beach, there’s a quaint coffee shop a short walk from our spot. You HAVE TO go see the Siletz Bay jetty a few miles north. What a spectacular site. Another must see is the world’s smallest natural navigable harbor a few miles south in Depoe Bay.
Lastly, the man in the cart who keeps this place clean, manicured, and friendly — whose name is Steve — is just a delight. He introduces a neighborly feel amongst the guests. Steve helped us feel welcomed with his considerate and receptive ways.
We loved this place so much, we made reservations a year out for another great week on the Oregon coast at Sea & Sand RV park.

Love this camping spot! We were lucky enough to get one of the three rows of ocean front sites with their spectacular panoramic views. All sites are nice, including the ones under the trees, the park is immaculate, the employees friendly, and the bathrooms and showers free, clean, and heated, which was sooo nice for showering on a chilly morning! Full hookups, too! Curt was especially helpful with advice and help, as we are new to our motorhome and still a little clueless. They also have laundry facilities and an easy path to a wide sandy beach. We will definintely return!

Good park — appearance-​wise, it’s pretty old and drab, but the beach access was great. They had a good number of permanent residents. We referred a few people who ended up renting permanent spots but I don’t think we ever got any commission on those deals, which was fine because their rates were so cheap. The laundry room and the restrooms were very good. No complaints.

If you want an beach front view this is one of the best. Staff could not be more nice. Called on the day of arrival and easily reserved a spot on waterfront. The beach is amazing with some great sand that is no to deep and very clean. Parking areas are on nice rock surface that can be a little hard on bare feet. Wear sandals or shoes. We will be back for sure.

Yes we were bribed. If you’ve never been to this place they give you a bag of salt water taffy! Yumm! There are clean sites with easy access for a 31 ft. trailer. It’s just a short walk to a very nifty beach. They have very inexpensive shiny things at the office. The two ladies at the office were friendly and helpful. I had questions about getting in and out and other technical trailer questions. They were very easy to talk to. We will be using this RV park as our Southernmost point to visit on the Oregon Coast as this is about the last friendly place we found. As always, don’t bother with WiFi on the Oregon coast. The difference here is that they tell you right up front that their WiFi is not bad, it’s terrible. We will be going back either for one of the Oregon coast’s very exciting ocean storms or next summer to enjoy a calmer ocean.

I like this place and would like to come back again some time soon, the spots are a little close together but that was fine. All of the other RV resorts in or near Lincoln City were either full or looked like a dive. Next time we come back I hope to reserve a spot that over looks the ocean. This place is very clean, and the beach is private and nice! It’s worth it for the sunset views alone. Pay attention while driving on 101 because if you blink you will miss the sign. I think the signs could be a little bigger.

Since beginning to trailer camp a couple of years ago, people recommended Sea and Sand to us. We finally had our first stay there this weekend.
The staff was welcoming and helpful, the restrooms were tidy, the views — including whale watching — were spectacular. All that and the weather just happened to be beautiful both days, warm with very little wind.
We will be back!

Great stay at the Sea and Sand RV Park!!! Check in was really fast and easy. The person that helped me at the check in desk was very nice and helpful. Our campsite was big and the location is amazing!!! The bathrooms are extremely nice and clean. Best campground that we have stayed at on the Oregon Coast.

This place had great potential for a fun weekend… until we checked in and had to deal with the staff. There were three women working in the office. One was fairly new and was very nice. However, the other two were very rude and condescending. One of the women checked us in and over charged us for an extra night. When this was brought to her attention she was rude and seemed to be bothered by the fact that she had to reimburse us for her mistake. They also had men on their carts riding around the camp harassing people for no reason. No tents allowed and you cannot sleep in your car… even when we had a Honda Element that is set up for camping. Too intense for us… we will not be back.

We are back and nice weather too! A bit more expensive but hard to find a full hook up this close to the beach. Great spot.

Absolutely love this place. Make your reservations early since it has become quite popular, but the views in the 3 tier ocean view sites are just breath taking. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating! They have recently remodeled the store and office making it feel much more than just a camping area. We travel all the way from Redding CA and will do this for the rest of our years to come. They also offer the good sam discount which was nice!

We have stayed here a handful of times, each one has been great. We only stay here in the winter because it is the only RV park with a view of the ocean from the trailer. This is an important feature when trying to visit the coast in the winter. At the same time they have direct beach acess from the park so you can spend a day inthe sand without having to drive anywhere. They have nice bathrooms and showers if you need them. Also pets are welcome. Enjoy a stormy weekend here.

It is a bit expensive, but the ocean view is beautiful. The showers are AMAZING! They have heated floors and are very clean. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. I think dogs are allowed.
