Friendly staff however the tan was a failure. I am a ginger but have a faint tan so they recommended a level 2 clear with the pre and post spray treatments. My leg color didn’t even get anywhere close to the existing faint tan I had on my arms before the spray. Basically, I had no color on my legs for my Italy cruise ⁹⁄₂. Waste of money and time. Back to Guiltless Glow I go for my next trip tan as I have gotten a good believable faint tan from GG in the past but tried Zolarium as it was more convenient and has better hours. If there are other gingers that have a great place to get a spray tan, please post it.

Just had to cancel my membership cuz I only go downtown now for classes. But before I was working downtown and I loved coming here during lunch breaks. Staff knew my name within a week of coming religiously. The memberships are affordable. The rooms and beds are extremely clean. So sad I had to cancel my membership, it’s a great tanning place

I used to go here constantly in 2011 after school/​before work to use the tanning beds and loved it. Karin was always so nice and helpful. I went back today to get a spray tan with the versa spa pro and it was also a great experience. I’m already seeing the tan and does not look orange at all. I’m the whitest of white skin and I had never gotten a spray tan before so I was a bit nervous.

I’ll start off by saying that the employees are wonderful; super friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient, in Downtown Denver. The issue I have is with the tanning beds amd price. I’m originally from MN, I assume because we do not get much sun most of the year, the tanning salons are some of the best I’ve tanned at. This tanning salons highest level bed is not up to par and I didn’t notice much of a difference using the high end vs low end beds. Thus, it is way overpriced for the bed quality.

I got a spray tan an I am already dark skin toned but they lady (I didn’t get her name but she seemed like the owner or something) picked out a color that looked amazing on me! I will keep coming back for spray tans and I want to try out their tanning beds.
It was the first time I had ever gotten a spray tan naked but she made it very comfortable for me it wasn’t awkward at all LOVED IT !!

This is really just the best studio — great staff, clean and very well maintained equipment, and a great LODO location.

I started going to Zolarium when I was 18 and moved to downtown Denver for college, and I stayed until I was 25. I only stopped going because I moved a bit too far to easily stop in and tan. This is honestly the best tanning salon and if I could I would still be there daily. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the prices are good, the establishment is always clean and well-​kept. It honestly spoiled me because if I tan elsewhere I just feel like it’s dirty by comparison because Zolarium is so well maintained. There is a reason I went here for six years, and I promise you that if I was still an easy walking distance I would still be going here.

This is probably the cleanest and friendliest tanning salon I’ve ever been to. They also have great products, a bit overpriced, but quality lotions. Their high quality beds allow you to get a quick base tan in just a couple sessions. And unlike a lot of tanning beds, they have low UVA rays so you don’t get the damaging rays. They also have a point system that never expires, so you can buy points to get tan for your trip and if you don’t use all your points you can save them for your next trip.

I am 100% satisfied with my membership at Zolarium. They remember my name, remember what bed I go in, and are always super friendly. I don’t think I have ever been treated badly in the slightest. I definitely recommend them.

What can I say? I’m originally from California so this place made me feel quite at home ! :) awesome beds, good prices. Will definitely be back!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago to try out the versa tan. This place is amazing! Incredible customer service from start to finish. I can’t for the life of me remember the women’s names the were working when I went in, but they both were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick about getting me in. Overall… Great experience. Will definitely return.

Thank you Desiree for the excellent last minute assistance with my spray tan. I told her I was visiting from out of town for a wedding and needed to get a glow and fast! I’d never tried the versa technology but now that I have, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Mystic. Thank you for also letting me sit in the store while a random rainstorm passed through!

Employees are welcoming and knowledgeable, services and merchandise are very reasonably priced, salon is accessible and well maintained, wait times are short or non-​existent, and everything from eyewear to post-​tan primping supplies are available to customers at no additional cost.

Helpful, friendly, kind staff. Clean. Convenient for down town tanning.

I came to this salon based off of the other Unilocal reviews and the 5 star rating. It deserves 5 stars for their staff alone.
I haven’t been tanning in awhile and the gal that helped me was so nice. She helped me pick a package that was right for me. They had a lot of options but I ended up going with the points package. She also gave me 15% off of my lotion. Both of the gals upfront were so nice and helpful. The salon was clean and welcoming and my first tanning experience here was great.
They also sent me a little hand written card in the mail thanking me for choosing their salon and remembered the trip I am going on which is why I need a tan. Talk about customer service!
Would recommend all day long.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit to being a tanning aficionado… but hey, I lived in California for 12 years and am a competitive salsa/​ballroom dancer. (And nobody wants to see a pasty white person dancing latin.)
GREAT BOOTH VARIETY
I’m one of those weird people who hates tanning beds — I just feel a little claustrophobic in there. When I lived in California, I got used to these awesome 360-​degree stand-​up booths they had, and Zolarium is one of the few places in Colorado that has these. I’ll admit, I’m totally one of those people dancing around inside the booth… Or you can do the regular tanning bed. They have options in 4 different levels (and pricing tiers) — so you’re sure to find what you want.
AWESOME DEALS /​PRICING
They’re always sending out deals via email and posting on Facebook, so I highly recommend signing up for newsletters. And they have these great point programs, which allow you to buy a set of points and then just use them whenever you tan on a per-​minute basis. The points don’t expire, so you don’t feel like you’re wasting money on a per-​month fee or a really short tanning session.
FRIENDLY STAFF
I love the woman who owns this place and the girls who work there. They all sweet, friendly, and very helpful. I wish everywhere I went had people like this.
HUGE SELECTION OF LOTIONS
If you tan on a consistent basis, you should know how important this is (and totally worth the price). The bronzers in these lotions are what give you that great bronze glow, hydrate your skin, help you tan faster, etc. You can also always use them over the summer at the pool, since they’re not just for tanning booths.
Only thing I would say this place is in dire need of is some floor-​length mirrors in all the rooms. I’m trying to see if I spread lotion out evenly on my back — and also get back into my clothes afterwards. So it would be really helpful.

I have to say, this place and the girls working go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. They almost NEVER EVER try to up sell you, which is everyones biggest pet peeve. They supply eye glasses, (fuck you, at the beach) stickers, and towels. and after a week, they will say hello by name! «Hi Kristy, what are we doing today?» Could it get any better? YES. Fair priced for Denver, (tanning isn’t necessarily cheap around here if you’re not looking for a membership) great beds, new bulbs, and great service. (Did I mention the service?) A few of the beds are a bit iffy, but that’s everywhere. You get what you pay for. They even sent me a personalized card saying «thank you» for my business!
I would give them 5 stars, but there is just one thing that has drawn me to stop tanning here. There is NEVER parking. ever. One time, I drove in circles for 45 minutes waiting for a parking meter to open up. Qdoba gave me a «warning» for parking in their lot, so I just can’t do it… it sucks. I’ll miss these guys. Thanks for being amazing. but please, fix your parking situation!

I went into Zolarium still shell shocked from my horrific experience with At the Beach — having been pressured to sign an expensive contract with rude and pushy salespeople. I could not have been more impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome, relaxed and free to choose a tanning package that fits YOUR needs, not the company’s bottom line.
After my first visit, I left a white gold necklace in my room, and I received a voicemail that they found it and put my name on it at the front desk the next time I came in. I was truly blown away by that.
Zolarium is in a very convenient location downtown, the rooms are very clean and well taken care of and the staff are just lovely. One of the first things I noticed was that they all make an effort to learn your name.
I could not say enough about what a great business this is. So glad I read the other Unilocal reviews about this place. I wish I had come here first!

I have tanned at several salons throughout San Diego and Denver the past 10 years, and Zolarium is one of the best. After I stopped working downtown and wasn’t close to this location, I started tanning at At The Beach Tanning on Broadway — which is the worst tanning experience of my life. It made me feel compelled to write a review for Zolarium because I realized how great of a salon they are.
First of all, their prices are wonderful. If you’re a year-​round tanner, you can sign up for an unlimited membership with GREAT beds that include unlimited versa for under $ 50 a month. The sales girls are helpful but not pushy. The beds are wonderful. The salon is very clean. There is complementary after-​tan lotion (my favorite kind too, the hemp) which is great if you’re going on your lunch break and don’t want to smell like tanning when you get back to the office. They have customer appreciation days with cookies and food and wine. I mean… really? This place is too good to be true.
I love and miss this salon, and wish more than anything I had never signed a contract with At The Beach tanning (who have the most obnoxious, pushy, rude sales people I have ever encountered… they have ¹⁄₅ stars on Unilocal with 56 reviews… yikes!!!)
When it’s time for me to buy a lotion, I will not be giving my commission to my current salon, but will be making a stop downtown to buy from the sweet girls that work at Zolarium. To the managers/​owners: Keep up the great work. You have created a wonderful tanning environment and your reviews here on Unilocal prove it.
