Meet the Business Owner
Steve M.
Business Owner
I was in communications in the Army and got my first Macintosh while attending The Univ of Northern Colorado attaining my English degree. In 1994, I was selling computers in a retail position at Computer City and decided to start my own business, purely for the Apple platform. Along the way I took additional jobs in multimedia development, Colorado tourism promotions, and a Macintosh retail store. After years of software and hardware knowledge of Apple, I established The Missing Byte in 2003. A successful home-based operation, I provided onsite IT support of Apple products, maintained an eBay store for used computers and parts, and managed a full-time employee. With the advent of the iPhone and the Apple Stores in 2007, I found it difficult to stay ahead of the fast-paced technology and scaled myself down to provide services solely for Apple Legacy products. Rooted in solid state beginnings, I also collect vintage video games and pinballs, creating The Quarter Byte in 2008.
