Let me ask this: how exactly could any given Subway get higher than a 3 star rating? If they give you extra meat or cheese? They throw in a gooey oatmeal cookie to sweeten the deal? Or perhaps they just give you the ultimate flattering comment about your outfit. The point is, is that Subway is great because it is consistent. We expect a certain thing and hopefully we get it. Make sense? Anyhow, this location met my expectation, despite being in a transitional rif-raf area of Denver. See my pic of the bullet hole. That is somewhat disconcerting. Maybe I just won’t go there at night to make sure I am not incidentally involved in a drive-by shooting.

I mean, let’s be real. It’s Subway. This was not my first choice, nor was I impressed with anything I ordered. The bread wasn’t stale which is a win, but the cookies were probably a few hours old. The only reason I went to Subway for dinner is because my favorite place(close to me) was closed for rennovation and I didn’t want to walk super far or wait a long time. On a brighter note, this Subway gets a three because the bread wasn’t stale and even though the cookies were a couple hours old they were still pretty good. The sandwhich maker on this particular evening was very quick and did a job well done. If someone was to rate Subway anything higher than a three it’s because their a fanatic. Subway is a good choice for someone who wants something quick and get rid of the hunger. Never visit if you’re looking for something to excite your taste buds, it’s just not going to happen.

First of all I am not a Subway fan. I was at one point in time, but not any more. But for a $ 5 footlong and the fact that I was really hungry this afternoon, I decided I would waive my hate for them this one day. This location is closest to my place and the service is S-L-O-W! There always seems to only be one person working. But today that one person is at the same time training someone who is sitting on a stool watching him. I guess training to become a «sandwich artist», has it’s perks. Plus there is a line of people, a group of 3 who take F-O-R-E-V-E-R to freakin’ order! «Excuse me! Could you please next time know what you want ahead of time and order it in an efficient manner?! Feels like I’m standing in line at the freakin DMV just not too far from here!» Anyway, what I’m trying to say here is the service is bad. Its slow. No one wants to work in fast food anyway, at least not in this Subway, otherwise the unemployment rate would be a lot lesser than it is right now! Besides Jared, this location is another reason why I have a dislike for Subway.

Bread was deflated and rubbery like the produce. Worst subway I’ve had in a long time.

Some of the friendliest staff at this location. However, they have a system down… the first person has to take the bread, meat and cheese order…(and now they prep. the personal pizzas too) and the second person takes your condiment order. You don’t want to mess with their system because they will look at you funny.
