Solera Apartments

The staff is exceptional. The building is very nice and always clean and well maintained. Service requests are handled immediately and with a smile. You honestly should ignore the couple bad reviews on Unilocal about The Solera, as they very dated. I can say that this is the best place I’ve lived. It’s very secure and the price is actually very well priced compared to anything else in a 1 mile radius. Someone said the apartments are small; they are what they are, and 888sqft for 1 person is massive. If you don’t like the square footage per dollar, then you probably don’t value security, new clean apartments, LOCATION, and friendly staff. The ONLY thing I’d improve is the workout area, but I belong to Movement so it’s a nonissue.

All around a solid choice! I miss living there… The quality of the construction is A+, I NEVER heard a neighbor through the walls (they have almost 2 feet of concrete between each apartment). The only time I heard someone was when they were a little louder than normal in the hallway. Very pet friendly, clean common spaces and they just renovated the rooftop with a dog area, expanded seating, a new grill and a hot tub that overlooks downtown to the west, including Coors Field. My apartment also faced west, I had the best seat downtown for viewing fireworks or sunsets. The LoDo area is always busy, and there is a homeless shelter nearby but if you’re looking for that downtown lifestyle, this is it. There is an onsite cop for Thursday and Friday nights, making sure the building stays safe and making sure that non-​residents do not enter. You may hear that these apartments are expensive, but in my eyes, it was definitely well worth it. I don’t think I’ll ever live as close to a ballpark as I did there, so I enjoyed every moment of it. A solid staff that helped you along the way, a big shout out to Tom the maintenance guy, beers are on me next time I see you.

I miss living here. Moved across town to a quieter hood for far too much more money than it was worth. Wish I were still there. Tom, the maintenance guy, and Lindsey, the office manager, were kind, friendly and helpful.

Horrible customer service! Over priced, apartments are small. Parking is $ 200+ not included in rent. Was looking to move there but they were not friendly.

I will first mention the good things about this apartment complex. The Common Areas are kept clean. The cleaning staff and maintenance staff are quick to address issues. I could not hear my neighbor’s television when at normal volume. The rooftop patio was great for Rockies fireworks shows.
Cons: The new management of the property does very little vetting of applicants. I had two neighbors whom were unemployed, and one was selling «items» outside his door at late hours of the night. Before signing a lease, I encourage you to observe a few of the tenants in the building.
In addition, during the end of my time there, I had many non-​tenants knocking on my door begging for money. I noted this to the management, and they simply stated that it wasn’t their responsibility to keep solicitors out of the building. I know several tenants who moved out due to safety concerns with non-​tenants/​non-​guests wondering around inside the complex.
In addition, there is often a homeless person, glass bottles, and/​or vomit outside the building entrance. But in all fairness, this is going to be common for most complexes in this area.
