I don’t need to say much. If you haven’t been, you need to visit asap. I love the French Dip, the Roast Beef and one off of the menu that is a Buffalo Chicken. So many good sandwiches.

I wanted to update my review because I have been back a couple times since my bad experiences the first couple times with them. It seems like they’ve figured some stuff out and are much quicker at getting orders out. The food is still just okay, on par with something like Which Wich or PotBelly.

I’ve been searching for a great Italian sandwich since I moved here and this is the closest thing I’ve had out west in comparison to the wonderful east coast NY/NJ Italian sandwiches. The meats and cheese were great and there was just enough garnish. What keeps it away from a 5 star is the bread. I enjoy toasted bread but not when you take a bite and it flakes everywhere. Not sure if it was older, over toasted, or maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. Either way, the sandwich was great and I’d recommend it if you’re craving a bit of East coast, next time I’ll ask for the bread not toasted. I’ll be back! Thanks for a great sandwich!

The sandwiches are good, I’ll give them that… however, today we placed an order at our office at 11:45 am… its 2:18 pm and the sandwiches just showed up…2 hours and 33 minutes later! Not to mention the sandwiches showed up cold, soggy, and unlabeled. They also forgot to include the chips we ordered. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of something like this happening at this location. It’s obvious this place needs some help. Save your money and frustration and just order Jimmy Johns.

This place just might be my new favorite sandwich shop in Denver! Whenever I try a new place, I always ask the person taking my order what they recommend. She said to get the Italian Sandwich or the Turkey and Swiss. The gf and I ordered both and, holy cow, she did not let us down! First, the Turkey and Swiss. The bread was fresh and they have achieved what I’ll call the perfect level of toastiness. Heavenly crispy on the outside, still soft and tasty inside. Fresh meat and ingredients. Fantastic sandwich! Will get again. Now, the Italian. Jesus Rollerblading Christ! Perfection is not an exaggerated adjective for this sandwich! My taste buds are still dancing! Get the hot peppers on it! It is excellent! Cool college atmosphere, suited for its DU location. Didn’t try any drinks though.

This place is understaffed. There were only three employees working during the lunch rush and I waited over 30 minutes for three basic salads. I also find the salads with meat to be overpriced, a salad without meat is $ 4.50 but a chicken salad is $ 8.50. Keep in mind the two salads are the exact same size and the only difference is the presence of the chicken. The upside to this whole experience wast that the salads were in fact quite tasteful.

Sandwiches. Are. My. Thing. Wooh, now that I have that off my chest, Snarf’s did not disappoint. I kept it simple with the turkey and swiss with avocado(of course). It was very tasty. Then again, how could you ever go wrong with that. Paired with the Zapps sour cream and creole onion chips, I was set. Apparently they serve liquor here(!!). Which is pretty different. The have two happy hours featuring some great deals. Sunday’s is $ 3 mimosa, bloody marys, or michelada. Sweet! Though I do agree with other reviewers that it was a bit pricey for a sandwich. But that’s really the only drawback I see. And you have to feel all warm and fuzzy supporting this Colorado owned and operated chain. Yay!

This place has perhaps the best gluten free sandwich available, the problem is it usually costs around 11 dollars… Add that to the fact the place simply reeks of hipster attitude and every time I’ve been in I’ve experienced the strangest off-standing attitude from the employees that I couldn’t make sense of it. If you can’t make eye contact with me, can I really trust you to make my sandwich? In that case I just skip the tuna. We all have to make sacrifices…

The food at Snarf’s is generally pretty good. I’ve had the Italian a number of times and that is probably my favorite on the menu but most of the sandwiches are solid. The reason for my 1 star review is the absolutely horrendous experience with the staff at this location. My 60+ year old mother wanted to get a lemon for her iced tea, asked a nice worker behind the counter, and was instructed to «get one from the bar» which is kinda weird to begin with. Is it not standard to have lemons for iced tea available? Anyways, she walked over to the bar and since there was no one working the bar(it was lunch), got a fork, and got a lemon from a container on the bar countertop using the fork. A few mins later this crazy short haired woman comes up to my mother and begins an inquisition on the«lemon incident.» The crazy woman barked at my mother«who told you to get a lemon and what did they say? Did they tell you to ASKTHEBAR or GETITATTHEBAR???» My mother was trying to remember but this crazy woman wouldn’t relent. It was super awkward. She started scolding my mother in the middle of the restaurant about getting a lemon. Then, to top it all off, she leans in, grabs my mother’s arm and says in a very threatening and condescending way«don’t ever do that again.» I mean how weird is that? It sucks because my mom has now told this story to pretty much everyone she has run into today(it was her first time at Snarf’s and went there because I told her to). Now she is officially banning Snarf’s and telling all her friends. The best part is my imagination on this poor crazy employee. «THESEAREMYLEMONSANDMYLIFE. WHATISTHEWORLDCOMINGTOWHEN A 60YEAROLDWOMANSELFSERVES A LEMONSLICEFORHERICEDTEA!!! SHEMUSTBESTOPPED.» I highly recommend that Snarf’s management think about getting rid of this LEMONCRAZY bartender to save face. The rest of the employees are pretty awesome so clearly this crazy woman is an outlier. Even if my mother wasn’t «supposed» to get a lemon herself, don’t scold and threaten an old woman when she is a customer. Yikes Snarf’s, fix this problem.

Great spot to grab a sandwich, I really liked the Cubano. Would be giving it 5 starts, but seriously the macaroni salad is the smallest thing I have ever seen; definitely get chips next time you think about getting a side.

I go to this snarf’s all of the time. They have a lot of vegetarian options and I’ve never been disappointed with my food. Four stars instead of 5 because they reduced their hours recently and their milkshakes are subpar.

This place is alright. I got the Italian sub there one day for lunch while at work. It’s pretty cool inside the restaurant itself, very college town-y which is appropriate for being right near DU. One of the biggest perks is that they’re open late which comes in handy when I’m working a night shift. The sandwich itself didn’t live up to all they hype people made it out to be. Perhaps that may be skewing my decision on how many starts to give. There wasn’t very much meat in my sandwich during my first visit, which I got the Italian so that should warrant more meat than the amount I got. This has been pretty consistent throughout all of my visits. The bread was pretty hard, not crunchy, definitely hard like they had toasted it too much or something. The lady that was working that day was very kind and helpful when I asked her for some suggestions back during my first visit, and everyone else has followed suit throughout my visits since then. I’ll probably keep coming back since it’s fast and easy to get when I’m working night shifts near by. Otherwise its not my go to sandwich place when I actually have time.

Seriously, I crave their macaroni salad. It might be my favorite in the area. However, the rest is okay. It’s your typical Quiznos or Potbelly style toasted hoagie. They have 3 cheeses to choose from and a couple of meats. You pay extra for high-end toppings like mushrooms, avocado or bacon. Also, pickles aren’t free. The service at this location isn’t nearly as good as at the others. In fact, I’ve never had my orders perfect. However, the main reason I choose it over Which Wich is that macaroni salad. Maybe they should just sell that:)

Snarf’s is one of the best sandwich shops in Denver. I used to have cravings for Snarf’s. Over the past few years it’s started lacking something. Not sure what it is, but it’s not the same as it used to be. It’s still really good though. I like the prime rib, T likes the French Dip, my girls like the tuna sandwich. Sandwiches are about $ 8 each. They have great daily drink specials at the bar. You can get a pretty good cheap meal here, with drinks. I like this location because it’s a cool place to go. I like the bar, I like the scene and I like the music. I dislike the service and sometimes I dislike the people. I guess you can’t win them all. Good thing it’s easy to get your food to go.

My wife and I wanted something different without getting a pesto crusted blackberry beer marmalade vegetarian waffle tofu riblet entrée or something equally as cute. We checked the reviews of literally a dozen places around us and went to two… and they were not only pathetic, but one had a junkie sleeping inside the place and had pre-made, pre-wrapped sandwiches.(They have pre-wrapped sausage but not pre-wrapped bacon… can you blame them? Well… yeah!) We stumbled across Snarf’s and figured… great…another lame sammich place. The place was cool, the employee’s were bad ASS and helpful as HELL. I even took the food home so it wasn’t at it’s peak freshness and it was AMAZEBALLS. Every bite was met with wide eye contact and either an MMMMMM… or an «This is SO damned good!» Can’t WAIT to go there again. I think we are going tonight. No. We ARE going.

So good. Husband likes the meatball sub, so it’s not a good day when they run out of meatballs– but we get it. I wish they had a better salad selection… But it’s a sandwich place, and they do the sandwiches well!

3 stars for great sandwiches and zapps chips. minus 2 stars for our basic sandwich order taking nearly 20 minutes yesterday. Love the food here but fast casual is supposed to be a lot faster than that. Also the iced tea machine was broken, boo.

Sandwiches are great if you don’t mind putting up with rude hipsters to get them. Every time I go in there it’s the same off putting attitude from the staff. Like I’m an inconvenience. Maybe they’re used to dealing with snooty DU students, but I’m just someone who lives in the neighborhood.

Don’t bother with their mobile app. They are closed for mobile ordering most of the time. Basically their app is useless.
