My favorite dive bar. You never know what kind of people you are gonna get in this place… every time its quite eclectic group of peeps. Its never too busy to not be able to get a seat at the bar, except on 1st Friday nights. Bartenders pour em strong and the prices are good. What more can ya ask for?

This place is like going to your friend of a friends house for a house party. You trust your friend but you don’t know his friend that well so you don’t know what to expect, it’s kinda like that, but you end up having a great time. Here it is very relaxed. You can bring your dog or so I think because I saw one. They also have Giant Jinga which I got a giant splinter from but that’s okay. They have beer pong and a pool table not in the greatest shape but it works. A couch in the main bar area which scared me a little bit. And best of all while I was there along with the cheap beer I was buying, some guy instead of buying me a drink to hit on me bought me french fries. I don’t know how he knew I loved french fries but it worked. It is a little bit of a dive bar with what I expect are regulars but they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable being there. So when I want to play large Jinga and get hit on with French fries I will come here. Ahh Memories.

I agree with all the commentary and good reviews posted so far. My wife and and I manage to visit about once every 60-days and we have had a great time, every time. We are in our late 40’s and never feel out of place, even though the crowd tends to be younger. We always manage to encounter great conversation, great staff, service and value. It’s a great setting for a can of Old Style and a Grand Marnier back.

This bar set up shop directly behind a small, friendly townhome community, inhabited by laid back professionals and students, and proceeded to disrupt the peaceful life the residents have built together. Summers are the worst. The bar’s back patio is often crowded with young screaming patrons, partying late into the night, either chanting drinking slogans, whooping and hollering, or arguing with one another. Late last night, I was awoken(windows closed!) by a girl screaming«F**K YOU!!» over and over. It’s terrible and this happens even on weeknights. Most of the townhome residents, as I do, work early in the morning, and this noisy bar completely disrupts any attempt at sleep(even with the windows closed). I am personally looking forward to the day when this bar either goes out of business or relocates. I’ve lived here for nine years. The bar has been here for about three. I don’t know if the owners truly realize, or care, how substantially and how negatively they’ve affected our way of life.

Bad Karma. This could be a great neighborhood bar, but instead they blast their music late into the night on their patio disturbing the residential neighbors. Update: noisy, and disruptive to the neighborhood.

It is the small, local bar type, which is awesome. But, when you live right around the corner(or literally right behind it), the loud music EVERY night(well into the night), regardless of the crowd size, is a pain in the arse. Because of that, I don’t frequent the place despite its convenience.

This place is really trying to be a good bar. For example, they have good nightly specials, good bartenders, a good theme, and they sponsor pool parties at local apartments; however, they need to have some follow through in order to make this place even better. Case in point: the pool party at the Parkway this past Saturday. Shwervers indicated that they would have a raffle at midnight at their establishment, and they handed out raffle tickets during the pool party The winner– who needed to be present– would receive a $ 100 bar tab and a fridge full of beer. Sounds awesome! Well, we arrived before midnight and waited until about 12:30 before we asked about the raffle. We were told«it already took place.» Now, I’m not saying they«lied» about the raffle, but I’m really having a hard time believing it actually took place. So… my opinion has gone done a bit simply because I think what they thought was going to be a really great idea fizzled out well before midnight, and they promised a raffle and since they didn’t have the numbers they necessarily thought they would, they«fibbed» about the raffle. Not cool.

Checked this place out about a week and a half ago when my boyfriend and his coworker had a 1921 Tequila and Enfuego Salsa tasting networking event. The drinks were delightful, I even had to ask for a little more sprite with my vodka considering food isn’t sold there and I was trying to shovel in salsa and chips. I didn’t want it to turn into THAT kind of night! The owners were chill. Even the local dog and some kids made an appearance and played Wii… hmm?! I guess it’s a stop on the Santa Fe artwalk because the art on the walls is fantastic and showcases the very popular and very large«Starry Night.» Wednesdays are beer pong night and the outside patio is incredible. I like this bar and would have LOVED it in college!

I came here the other night with some gal pals and I really like this place. The music is a little loud for me but I love Kmberly B and love the vibe. Its off the beaten path in the sense that you don’t get any stuck up people but it’s close enough that a cab ride is only a 2 minute wait. I’ll be back! I wasn’t here long enough to check out the patio but based on Sherri’s review, I totally missed out!!! Damn my roommate for wanting to leave! :)

Yay! I’m a fan is right. This place rocks. In the Santa Fe art district, the location is superb. Off street parking is always a bonus in my book. Live music. No cover. Diverse fun group. HAWT bartender(Kimberly B in the house)! Back patio with twinkle lights where you can grill your own food — what! Nuts! I know! Oh! and beer pong out back. Beery, you know you want some :) Small dance floor, but did I mention there was live music and no cover? I think this may be my new favorite place.
