My experience with Dr Albin and his staff has been far from good. Aside from the long waits to see Dr Albin, the outcome of my rhinoplasty was not good. My nostrils post surgery are quite a bit different which Dr Albin attributes to a difference in healing??? I truly didn’t expect to replace one problem with my nose with another. After my surgery no one called to check on my status which even my aesthetician does after a simple chemical peel. I also never received any recommendations post procedure for easing the healing process like using a humidifier when sleeping to help with the breathing. During my one year follow up, I brought up my concerns with one of his staff members with a simple and insincere «well, I’ll pas it along…». This is truly not what I expected from a top notch surgeon or his staff. As I was leaving the office, his assistant didn’t even have the common courtesy to say good-​by, knowing that I was upset. I would not recommend Dr Albin and his staff.

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve hated my nose and wanted rhinoplasty. Over the years I’ve had consultations with several Plastic Surgeons but none of them seemed to understand how I felt or what I was hoping to accomplish in a new nose except for Dr. Albin. As soon as I spoke with Dr. Albin I knew he really understood what I didn’t like about my nose and why and what I was hoping the outcome would be. And now thanks to him for the first time in my life I have a beautiful nose to prove it! He is truly a Plastic Surgeon genius and I can’t thank him enough for what he did for me. Dr. Albin and his staff are absolutely amazing and I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Through a coupon special (Groupon, or Living Social) I got a chemical peel from the aesthetician at Dr. Albin’s office. That was fine. Through her advice, I ordered a retinol product for my face. It came in the mail from Cornell Pharmacy, a tube of product that was compounded there. No instructions from them or the aesthetician. A week later I had an upper lip wax which felt like it burned my skin. Never was I told by any of them that I should have discontinued the retinol for a couple of days or so before the lip wax. I called Dr. Albin’s office, speaking only with the receptionist, who ordered a prescription (via Dr. Albin) to stop the burning, although the damage had been done. Fortunately in time the redness left and didn’t leave a scar. My disappointment is that I wasn’t forewarned, and that I never received an apology from anyone except the person who gave me the lip wax. This could have been a lawsuit as any such prescription should come with instructions and warnings. I would not go to this doctor’s office for anything again.
