Our board-​certified OB/​GYN specialists are ready to help you achieve your health and family goals! We are focused on individualized care, patient safety, and healthy behaviors.

Our office is centrally located in midtown Denver for easy access for prenatal care and we can help with any gynecological issue. Most major medical insurances, including Medicaid and CHP+ are accepted. We practice and deliver at two top Denver Hospitals: Exempla St. Joseph Hospital and Presbyterian/​St. Lukes Medical Center.

We offer in-​house lab draws and ultrasounds.

Established in 1999.

RMWC was established in 1999 and now includes 3 physicians, Drs. David Forschner, Matt Breeden and Margie Maeder and one Certified Nurse Midwife, Jeanne Bair. As OB/​GYN physicians, we provide complete prenatal care, treat common gynecological and menopausal issues, and advise and prescribe contraception and family planning options.

I absolutely love this office! The ladies at the front desk are always very friendly, if I call or I’m actually in the office. I always get in very quickly and it’s very easy for new patients! I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Breeden and he is absolutely amazing, he makes me feel very comfortable and always makes sure to interact with my boyfriend and makes sure he is comfortable as well. He takes his time and always answers the questions that we have in a way that isn’t all Dr lingo. If I have concerns and call him he is always extremely helpful and prompt at getting back to me. I have also seen one of the other Drs when Dr. Breeder was delivering a baby and he was amazing as well! This is my first pregnancy and highly recommend this office!

Once you can actually make your way through the maze of medical buildings, and you make it to the right floor, and you keep walking down the insanely long and winding hallways, you will find a great doctors office.
Dr. Maeder is extremely sweet and caring and really takes the time to listen to your concerns and helps accommodate all of your needs. Glad to have found someone I can return to year after year for my women’s health needs.

Dr. Forshner is the best OB I have ever seen by far. He’s seen me through an ectopic pregnancy, a tube removal, the birth of my beautiful son and a recent miscarriage. He has provided me with such excellent patient care. He’s provided me hope when I lost it all and still to this day gives me hope for a second child. I trust him and his staff whole-​heartedly.

I used Unilocal to help me find this practice when we found out we were pregnant. We’ve been going here now for the last 9+ months and overall we’ve been happy with the experience. Dr. Maeder is awesome. She’s laid back, gets our jokes, is quick and painless with the visits and eases our weird worries every time we come in. The one thing I would say — the whole office is in MAJOR need of an update/​renovation. If they got some new flooring, put in some better chairs in the waiting area, and ripped out some of the old dated cabinetry in the reception area as well as the patient rooms it would do the office wonders. The nurses are friendly and the other doctors are super chill as well. Overall it’s been a good experience for us. We’d recommend Dr. Maeder to anyone.

Dr. Breeden is the best OBGYN I’ve had. He’s a great doctor and does what he can to make me feel at ease. I’ve had issues with previous miscarriages and concerns over my pregnancy, and he’s always returned my phone calls and made time to see me. He also always makes time for questions and educating me on what’s going on. He allowed me to have the type of birth that I wanted-​an all natural medication free birth experience, and he was supportive the entire time. He made it a great birth experience. He’s a really reasonable doctor and an overall nice guy. If I hadn’t met him as my OBGYN, I could’ve seen him as part of my circle of friends. (I’ve also seen Dr. Forschner when Dr. Breeden was out, and he was also very nice and comforting.)

The location is tricky to find and directions were not clear, allow an extra 10 min to find it. As a new patient, the registration was quick but I waited 30 minutes before seeing the doctor. Dr. Jeanne Bair was friendly and took time to ask about myself and my concerns, then she was gentle and quick during the consultation.

Love this office! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Breeden is awesome! He is very nice, and makes your visit extremely comfortable. It’s more like seeing a friend than going to a gyno, lol. His nurse Maggie is very quiet, and sometimes I can’t hear what she tells me to do, but she is very sweet. The office could use some updating, newer furniture and that sort of thing, but the staff and Dr’s are so wonderful that it’s no problem enduring the 90’s looking décor, lol!

I have never really felt comfortable with any doctor I’ve had, especially my gynecologist. That all changed when I found Rocky Mountain Woman’s Care, and met Dr. Margie Maeder. From the moment I met her I loved her! She has made me feel confident and comfortable. I am a first time mother due in 5 short days and I am really excited for her to deliver my baby. She is very knowledgeable and smart and welcoming of any questions, even the stupid ones. She wants you to be an acive participant in your care and has great besside manner. She cares about the patient and loves babies, I can tell she enjoys her job. She is precise and to the point.
Everyone else at the office also deserve 5 stars. The reception and billing girls are great, as well as the medical assistants and other Doctors. I’m very happy with my care here and recommend this practice to everyone.

Just moved here and needed a gynecologist. I saw Dr. Forschner and he was very nice and took the time to ask me about myself and talk to me about my issues. He also suggested where to get a mammogram and other things.
I took one star off for the difficulty in finding the actual office and the inability of staff to communicate directions when asked. I didn’t have any trouble finding the complex with my GPS, but there is zero signage outside telling you where to go. I ended up having to walk around quite a bit and eventually ended up pretty much where I started. I am going to attach a map the security guard at the ER gave me. If you follow his yellow highlighter route into the building, take the elevator to the 4th floor. When you get out you will see a Walgreens, you want to walk towards it but head to the hallway that flanks it on the right. When you get to the T, take a left and follow the hallway as it curves around. You are looking for 4200 and it will be on the right hand side. Basically the building is on Gilpin Street at 19th.

Dr. David Forschner and his team are the best! I have had 75% of my appointments with Dr. Forschner and have nothing but exceptional things to say. He has a wonderful bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, and even though my appointments are short, I never feel like my questions go unanswered or are disregarded. For my week 18 ultrasound, my whole family wanted to tag along in case we were able to determine the gender. Dr. Forschner was welcoming, kind, and without hesitation, he crammed everyone into the ultrasound room where we did find out we were having a girl. :)
I’ve had appointments with Jeanne Bair and Dr. Breeden (while Dr. Forschner was out of town) and had fantastic experiences with both. The irony is that I was recommended to RMWC to see Dr. Maeder and she’s the only one I haven’t had the privilege of meeting. Seems to me, you can’t go wrong with any of the doctors here. I’d feel comfortable and in good hands with any of them delivering my baby — and that’s something that’s very difficult to find in other doctor’s offices.
The front office staff is always a pleasure to be around, kind, and very helpful when I’ve had to call in for any type of «Is this supposed to happen?» or billing questions.
Last but not least, a shout-​out to the nurse (I wish I knew her name!) that draws blood like a pro!
If you’re looking for a new OBGYN — look no further.

This place is one of the best doctor offices I’ve had the pleasure of discovering. Dr. Maeder was down to earth, thorough and quite frankly very comfortable to be around. She spent as much time as was needed to go over my concerns and even offered to look further into some genetic testing I had done with another office. She gives out an email address for you to use if you prefer to communicate that way. The front desk ladies were very nice, too and I had no issue getting an appointment.

I don’t understand why this place has such good reviews. I tried to make a first time appt. during business hours and was told someone would call me back to schedule. I never received a call back, so I tried calling again (at least three times) and each time I received a voicemail box that would not allow me to even leave a message. They’ve lost my business.

Dr Breeden is the best. He is incredibly caring and knowledgable, and takes the time to listen to the many concerns that come up during pregnancy. I have literally never liked a doctor this much. My husband and I joke that we should have another baby, just because we felt like we were in such good hands throughout my pregnancy.
It’s important to note that my baby ended up in the Nicu for a few weeks (completely unrelated to my pregnancy which was healthy and normal thanks to dr breeden), and all the Nicu nurses who were pregnant or had recently had babies see him. That’s how awesome he is!

My only personal experience with this practice is with Dr. Breeden, but the group (specifically Dr. Forschner) came highly recommended to me by a coworker. I have never had to wait long for Dr. Breeden to see me (even on days when I arrive early, he sees me before my scheduled appointment time) and he is gentile, kind, and makes sure to answer all of my questions. He even gave me his cell phone number! The Medical Assistants are top notch –very professional, friendly, and experts at drawing blood (and I’m a hard stick)! The front desk staff is also very friendly!

I had a great experience with Dr. Breeden. He was very easy to talk to genuinely concerned about any and all my issues. He explained everything very thoroughly and I actually understood what he was telling me.
The front office staff was really nice and friendly. Their location may seen a bit intimidating but it’s very easy to access. I wasn’t really sure about their garage parking but found free two hour parking right outside and a very short walk to their main entrance.
If you are needing a new OBGYN I highly recommend this location as well as Dr. Breeden

After patiently waiting for me to figure out where exactly this practice was located amongst the maze-​like make up of the myriad of offices and clinics that populate Presbyterian/​St. Luke’s — they were happy to greet me with no problem with my tardiness.
As a new patient the registration process was quick, easy, and painless. Much like my check up. They’re knowledgeable, polite, and genuinely concerned for your health by providing insightful tips and support.

Like all, a new gyno is terrifying. I don’t need to explain my history– just accept and like me, right? I met with Dr. Jeannie and had a follow up with a male (sorry, I forgot your name) and felt like a respected person with unique concerns (replaced birth control implant for another and asked multiple times, to many of the staff, if I would spontaneously combust if it wasn’t replaced within minutes of its expiration date).
This team is organized, clean, and most importantly caring. I’ve recommended them to five people now. Hands down, my easiest transition to Denver on a personal level.

A women’s exam will never be anything other than awkward. Stirrups and a hospital gown… right. That said, Dr. Forschner is awesome. I felt immediately at ease which, again, is remarkable, given the circumstances.
One thing that he said at the end of my appointment summed up my experience. He spoke of his distaste for the direction medicine is heading, where it’s becoming more like a factory — patients in, patients out, next, next, next. He said he likes to actually know his patients and prefers a small office feel as opposed to a big nameless environment. I think that’s pretty rare these days!
I believe actions speak louder than words; in this case, they just validated what he said before he even said it.

Parking is something else. Leave yourself plenty of time to find a spot and zigzag your way from parking to their office. It’s… interesting. :)
